Max p.o.v.

Today was different than any other day, mostly because I woke up and was actually EXCITED to be at camp.

There was only one reason for that though, I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot because of it.

"Why are you smileing, who the fuck are you?" Said a voice in the corner. I whipped my head around to see Neil at my coffee machine.

"Why the fuck are you in here!" I screamed furiously pulling my covers up defensively.

"Eh, Don't act surprised.. I was up doing things." He said as he stared off into the distance and takes a small sip of the practically stolen beverage.

I grab my hoodie and pull it on over my head, I walk over to the coffee machine and slap the drink out of Neil's hands.

"Hey!" He yells, "I don't give a shit if you were up all night, don't fucking come in here and take my shit." I say and pick up the mug only to fill it with more coffee.

Nikki peaks her head in and and along with Y/N, she's beautiful in the morning.

I basked in her beauty as Neil took my coffee and fucking chugged it, but I didn't care, there was something more important in the room!

"Hey Max did you sleep well?" She said as she walked over to me.

I sorta froze but shook myself to break free and answer her. "Oh.. yeah, what about you."

"Fine, David wanted me to come get you, he said there was something important he wanted to show us, I don't fucking know really.."

I spaced out, David needs to show us something important again? Probably something fucking stupid, so far everything important has been something nobody gave a shit about.

I rolled my eyes and walked out if my tent with my squad, we start heading over to the cafeteria and when we walk in something terrifying waited inside...

"Well hello campers!" Announced David as he stood beside a recolor of himself.

"This is Daniel and he will be your new camp counselor, don't treat him with any less respect then you do with me." He said as Nikki gave a loud "Okay!" as she threw some mud on Daniel's white shirt.

He wasn't faced by this, he just kept smile which freaked me out...

"Does any one want to ask any questions?" David said as he slowly started to walk out.

Daniel stared to answer some questions before asking about space then going on a rant on some guy named ZeeMoog...

(Sorry I can't put any dialogue here, I'm rushing to get this chapter in...)

This guy is fucking mental, he sounds like a fucking cultist if you asked me..

I grabbed Nikki, Neil, and Y/N, surprisingly they had all cought on to.

We sprinted to David's cabin and banged on the door, "A CULTIST, YOU HIRED A FUCKING CULTIST!" I screamed frantically while quickly slamming my fists into the door.

My hands stared to turn red a bit because of how hard I was banging, I don't give a shit what happens to the rest of these fuckers but if something happens to my squad or worse... Y/N I don't know what I would do with myself.

We kept banging until David opened the door and he bent down to our size.

"Hey kids, what are you guys doing here, why are you not with Daniel?" He asked as he looked around a bit.

"David you need to snapped out of it, Daniel is fucking crazy!" Y/N screamed, it was clear she was scared, she had tears forming in her eyes, when she gets scared she stars to cry and that's heartbreaking for me to watch.

I walked over to her and grabbed her hand, I squeezed it a bit to let her know that I was here, that she had nothing to fear...

She took a deep breath and squeezed my hand as well.

We all started to explain, it eventually escalated to where Nikki bitch slapped David for his stupidity "Wake up and smell the Kool-Aid!!" Nikki screamed.

"God damnit, just follow us!" Neil demanded as we dragged David to a small clearing where kids were setting up for some satanic shit...

I looked over and saw a kid pouring fucking rat poison, rat poison, into purple Kool-Aid.

Daniel came over and started to talk to David as if nothing was going on, I couldn't take it anymore...

"Damnit David, how can you be so blind, look around you, he's fucking g brain washing these campers to sacrifice them to some made up god!!!" I screamed, of course, David said the usual "Max, language..."

"David please, open up your eyes!" Y/N pleaded as Daniel picked up Nikki and Neil and threw them into a gas chamber.

I saw those tears.. those terrible, horrified, heartbreaking, tears run down her face as she mumble the word over and over again. "No, no, no, no, no-"

She kept repeating it, I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.

"Hey, please calm down, nothing is going to happen to you I promise." I slowly pet her head as I felt her breath hitch and she squeezed onto my hoodie while digging her face into my shoulder.

"Max... I-I'm so scared, I do that want to see it end like this.." she sighed as she gripped harder onto my hoodie.

I looked up from her crying face to see Daniel reaching for her, I promised her nothing was going to happen to her, I said I was going to keep her safe, nothing is going to fucking harm her.

I turned her to where she was turned away from him and I was now the one he was reaching for.

He grabbed my hood and pulled me into the brain washing gas chamber.

"MAX!" Y/N screamed as the door closed and I was soon inhaling the terrible gas.

Y/N p.o.v

I was so terrified yet so saddened, why would he do that!?

It should have been me, it's all my fault, why can't I be brave!

I let the tears fall, I could only do that, cry..

I heard the door open and I looked ahead in pure hopefulness, please let Max be okay..

Max stepped out, his eyes wide, smile plastered on his face, and nothing but white Frome the neck down..

"I love you Daniel." He said plainly.

I stopped crying, I stared straight forward as jealousy consumed me.

I grabbed onto David's stupid yellow thing around his neck and started to speak.

"Oh David, look at all Daniel has been able to do singlehandedly, what would happen if a particular someone were to see that one man can do the job of a two camp counselors, you would be replaced with just a snap of the fingers." I rant as David soon becomes worried.

As he was freaking out silently I was being dragged by Max into the gas thing.

"Max, please!" I say quietly as I stare ahead at my final destination.

(Totally not a movie reference)

He throws me in and I grab onto his jacket making him fall back into the machine, once the gas turns on I hear some music start-up as I stare at Max who was coughing, I wasn't so this confused me..

Before I turned into a slave of that Daniel bastard I saw Max regain his color and fall to the floor.

So this is what you have to do to turn them back, just throw them in again.

I grab onto Max and put his head on my lap so he can lay there for as long as he can.

It was nice to see him sleeping, I close my eyes for last few seconds and slowly fall into nothing but darkness as I reawake as someone I'm not.
