(Y/N) P.O.V.

"What a jerk." I said to myself, trowing on a light blue t-shirt and
shorts.

I thought maybe he was angry because he was forced to go to this place, so maybe there's a chance he'll start to notice how he's behaving is wrong.

Once I was dressed I made my way to the mess hall.

On my way there I tripped over my own foot and landed on someone.

"Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't... I uh..." I said with a studder.

"It's fine, now stop apologizing and get off of me!" Said the person I tripped on to.

I know that voice, and the person I fell on was no other than Max.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" I asked suddenly.

"Why is an it any of your business?" He ask with a little sass.

"That's fair." I said and stood up.

Once Max got up David walked over and brought use to mess hall and conveniently sat me and Max next to each other.

It was kinda akward between us or... I was just being akward.

So I tried to break the silence, "Hey." I said nervously.

"What?" He asked, giving me an unfriendly glare.

"I just wanted to talk, I guess..." I said unsurely.

"Well I have nothing to do right now so, whatever."  He said leaning his arms on the table.

"Well I just really wanted to know if we could be friends." I asked shakily.

Once I finished getting those words out of my mouth all I could hear was Max's laughter.

I felt so embarrassed that I thought I would cry, I looked down a tried to avoid eye contact with him but he put his hand on my shoulder and said "well I guess you'd be completely lost without me so, sure."

I felt a small smile creep on my face with that response.

"Well I guess sense we're friends now, can you tell me why you in such a hurry this morning?" I asked him.

"I'd rather not say, well not here anyway." He said with a shrug.

I nodded and began to feel nervous again.

I don't know why but it just happens I guess.

We all walked over to the other camps and just did whatever.

I was still curious about what Max was going to tell me, so I decided to ask.

"Can you tell me what you were hurrying about now?" I asked excitedly.

Max turns his head facing my direction and sighs.

"Well you see, I know we've been here for only two days but I already hate this place." He says.

"So I'm going to escape this hell of a camp." He continues.

"Well, what's not to like, I mean I don't see anything wrong with this place besides the multiple camps they have." I said looking down.

"Well it's totally not the really annoying kids and David that make me want to kill myself more than usual, totally not that." Max says sarcastically.

I glare at him and roll my eyes.

"I'm gonna try again later tonight, you want to come with?" He asked

"Isn't that wrong?" I asked clutching my hand nervously.

Max sighs and shakes his head. "Not to me." He says.

I hesitate and stare at the camp and back at Max. "I'll go." I say with a sigh.

"Good, but don't tell anyone." He says in a very serious voice and walks off.

I sigh and say to myself quietly. "What have I gotten myself into?"

I turn to see Max walking to his tent and I say  "Maybe this won't be as bad as I think it will be." And began walking to my tent
