3 - Water

The bang that signified the start of the water balloon fight rang through the camp grounds. Gabriel immediately threw a few with perfect accuracy and then retreated to behind some buildings. Sam followed his lead.

"Okay," Gabriel said. "We need to locate Dean and Cas." Sam pointed to where he had already spotted them. "Good eye Sammy." Gabe started crouching, heading towards them while collecting any of the random water balloons he could find.

Dean and Cas were hiding in the bushes, Cas already half soaked. Dean had managed to dodge any of the water balloons thrown at him.

Sam looked around the place. Everyone else was running around like mad men, most people already soaked. Lucifer and Michael were untouched, probably having done this many times.

They reached Dean and Cas without the two noticing them. Gabe smirked and gave Sam half the balloons and started counting down.

"Three, two, one!"

And Dean and Cas were soaked. They jumped as they felt the water balloons hit them, facing Sam and Gabe.

"Oh you bastards," Dean muttered, going to through back.

"Wait," Sam said, holding up his hands in truce. "Michael and Lucifer."

The four of them turned to face the couple who was beating everyone. Most people now had run out of water balloons, and had surrendered to Satan and the angel.

Gabriel and Dean smirked, and Gabriel's eyes lit up with a plan.

"They're near the building," Gabe said. "I have a plan."

That was how the four of them ended up on the roof of the main hall, two giant buckets of water with them.

Michael and Lucifer looked around at everyone who had surrendered.

"That's everyone," Michael said.

"Not quite," Lucifer said, narrowing his eyes. "Gabriel...and Dean."

"Sam and Castiel too," Michael noticed. That was when they noticed some of the people sniggering behind their hands. A moment later, water crashed down on them from above.

They looked up to see the four teens laughing above them, empty buckets beside them.

"Dammit," Lucifer said. "There goes our streak."

"It was going to end eventually," Michael said.

"Yeah but by my own brothers?" Lucifer asked.

Gabriel jumped down from the roof, landing perfectly. "Sorry bro, couldn't let you win that easy."

Dean jumped down from the roof too, followed by a more hesitant Cas who lost balance and was steadied by Dean. Sam looked down worriedly. Being the shortest of them all, it would seem like the biggest distance to him.

"Come on Sammy," Gabe called. "It's not that far." Sam bitch faced him. "Okay fine, I'll catch you."

Sam sighed, and sat down on the edge. Gabe stood under him, hands up to catch him. Sam pushed himself off from the edge and into Gabe's arms, Gabe wrapping his arms around Sam before he could hit the ground.

"See, you're fine," Gabriel said, gently putting Sam on the ground. Sam gave him a hesitant smile. Dean however was glaring at Gabriel.

"He could've climbed down safely," Dean muttered, unheard by Sam and Gabe.

"Well," Lucifer said. "We can't have two winners now can we?"

Sam and Gabe looked at each other, neither having being hit yet. Sam looked hesitant and scared. Gabe noticed this, and held the water balloon he had above his head, popping it in his hands.

"There," Gabe said. "Sammy wins." Dean narrowed his eyes at Gabe.

"Congratulations Sam," Lucifer said. "You win this years water balloon fight."

Sam smiled as people clapped and then dispersed. Dean then grabbed Sam, pulling him off to the side away from everyone.

"Is it just me or does Gabriel seem too nice?" he asked Sam.

"I think you're being paranoid," Sam said.

"You're letting your guard down because he's nice to you," Dean muttered. "Last time—"

"Last time won't happen again," Sam said quietly. "There's no harm in letting him be nice, just leave him be Dean."

Dean sighed but nodded. "You seem more than fine with spending time with him...just be careful okay?"

Sam nodded, and Gabe and Cas walked over to them.

(I accidentally just typed Gabe as Babe)

"You guys got anything fun planned today?" Gabe asked.

"Well the sun's shining, there's no wind, we're allowed to swim in the lake," Dean said. "Perfect time for it. Whatdya think Sammy?"

"Sure," Sam said quietly.

"Mind if we tag along?" Cas asked.

"Not at all," Dean said.

The four of them headed back to their cabin to get bathers and then walked down to the lake. There were some other people there, some trying their hand at canoeing.

Dean ran along the pier, jumping off the end and cannonballing into the water with a huge splash. Gabriel followed, almost landing on top of Dean. Cas dived in like a normal person, and Sam just sat on the pier, watching them.

"Come on Sam," Dean said. "Have a little fun."

"Nah I'm fine up here," Sam said.

"Hey Samantha," Gabe said, swimming over to beside the pier. "You can swim right?"

"Yeah, of course," Sam said.

"Good," Gabe said, before grabbing Sam by the ankle and pulling him into the lake. Sam yelped a flailed around before swimming back to the surface.

"Dude, that could've been dangerous," Dean said, glaring at Gabriel.

"He's fine Deano, don't worry," Gabriel said. Dean just scowled before swimming off. "What's up with him?"

"He can be a bit protective," Sam said. "Don't mind it." Gabe nodded and dived under water. Sam and Cas stayed back, watching their brothers. They moved to shallower waters so they could just stand in the water. Less effort is great.

"You guys are no fun," Gabe said, swimming over to them.

"You're no fun," Cas muttered.

"Still annoyed at me Cassie?" Gabe said, smirking.

"Don't call me Cassie," Cas said.

"Aww come on," Gabriel whined, before jumping onto Cas's back. "You love me."

Cas grumbled something as he struggled to keep his balance, before failing and falling backwards into the water. Gabe got off Cas's back and laughed.

"One of these days, I'm going to stab you," Cas muttered.

"Such brotherly love," Gabe said. "Fine. I'll go." Gabriel went to walk off with his nose high, but walking in water was slow. Sam just laughed as Gabriel's dramatic exit was ten times slower than it would've been on land. Gabe smiled as he looked over at Sammy.

"Hey Sam, wanna help me with something?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Sure," Sam said. "What?"

Gabe just smiled and started swimming off. Sam shrugged and followed him.

A few minutes later Dean swam over to Cas. "I don't trust your brother," he said abruptly.

"I don't see why not," Cas said, and then stopped. "Never mind that, I can absolutely see why."

Dean looked over to where Sam and Gabe were. Gabriel seemed to be giving Sam instructions.

"What are they doing?" Dean asked.

"See that look Gabriel has?" Cas said. "That's the look he gets when he's about to prank someone. Looks like he's getting Sam to help."

"Oh great, Sam's going to learn from him," Dean muttered.

"I get that you're protective, but Gabriel's not going to hurt him," Cas said.

"You don't know what Sam's gone through," Dean muttered.

"Yeah but psychology," Cas said. "It's not hard to see that he's gone through something. The lack of talking for one. Yet he's talking to Gabriel."

"He doesn't usually," Dean said, sighing. "He hasn't talked to people outside of our family for months."

"Well has he been around the same people?" Cas asked and Dean nodded. "He probably just needed a change of faces."

"Yeah...I guess so," Dean said. "Anyway." He leaped at Cas, knocking them both down into the lake. They resurfaced, laughing.

"Two can play at that game," Cas said, and they startled wrestling to get the other under water.

Meanwhile, Sam and Gabe.

Sam swum underwater alongside Gabe. They reached a certain point and swam up, hitting something solid. And at the same time, at either end of the object, they pushed upwards on one side.

They surfaced moments later, having flipped the object. Which happened to be some poor victims canoe.

"Bastards," the victim said as Sam and Gabe laughed and high fived.

"Oh come on Balthy," Gabe said.

"Gabriel?"

"Yep. Hey cousin. Sam this is Balthazar, he's our cousin."

"Can't say this is a nice way to meet, Sam," Balthazar said, with a British accent. Sam just shrugged. Balthazar sighed before grabbing one of the ropes on the canoe. "I'm to return this, and then I'm going to kill you. Got it?"

"Sure Balth, whatever you say," Gabe said, smirking. "We'll be long gone by then."

"We will?" Sam asked. Gabe nodded and started swimming away, Sam close behind. They got back to the pier and ran up to their cabin. Cas and Dean saw them and got out of the water, following them.

"What are you running from?" Dean asked when they got back.

"Balthazar," Gabe said. "We tipped his canoe."

"So I saw," Dean said. He grabbed a towel and Cas's from their room, throwing Cas's at his face. Sam came out of the other room with his and Gabe's towel, passing Gabe's to him.

Sam put the towel on his head before trying to dry his long hair. Didn't work. That's the downside to long hair.

"And that's why you need a haircut," Dean said as he saw Sam's troubles.

"Jerk," Sam muttered, rubbing the towel over his hair. "Forget it, I'll let it air dry."

"I feel you Sammy," Gabe said, letting his own towel sit on his head as if that would help.

"You guys are such girls," Dean said, his hair already dry.

"You're just jealous that you don't have such nice hair as ours," Gabe said and Sam sniggered. Dean just rolled his eyes.

Michael and Lucifer were in their cabin because they were lazy. Most of the time they just let the other staff supervise.

"I can't believe we lost," Lucifer muttered. "To Gabriel of all people."

"Sore loser," Michael said, smirking.

"Well, technically the water hit you first, so I bet you."

"Woah what? No, we were even at least."

"Nah I won."

"You didn't."

Lucifer just smirked, knowing this would annoy Michael. Michael breathed out heavily before walking into their kitchen. A few minutes later, he came out holding several water balloons. And threw one at Lucifer.

Luci was expecting it and jumped out of the way. This may have been his plan all along. Coz, well, you know how shirts are when they're wet. And Michael...

"Come on, at least give me a chance," Luci said and Michael passes three water balloons to him, leaving himself with three.

"I'd say this is fair," Michael said, before piffing one at Lucifer. Lucifer dodged before throwing one at Michael, hitting him square in the chest.

"Well, that was quick," Luci said, smirking. Michael rolled his eyes before throwing the next one in Luci's face. Luci fumed and threw the next one at Michael's feet. As Michael went to throw the last one, he slipped on the water around him. Luci jumped out of the way of the water balloon, letting it hit the wall behind him, and went to stand over the fallen Michael.

"I think I win," he said. Michael rolled his eyes and Luci crouched beside him, turning the final water balloon over in his hand. "Now, where shall I throw this?"

Michael narrowed his eyes before grabbing Lucifer's collar, dragging him onto the ground beside him. As Lucifer was surprised, Michael grabbed the final water balloon from Luci and put it down Lucifer's shirt before popping it.

"Oh you jerk," Lucifer said as he realized what had happened. Michael just laughed before standing.

"I just changed this shirt," he said, looking down at the wet patch on the front of his shirt.

"Welcome to living with me," Lucifer said, standing up and taking his soaked shirt off. Michael rolled his eyes and took his own shirt off...allowing Lucifer to totally not check out his chest.

Michael threw the soaked shirt at Lucifer, walking out of the room. Lucifer smirked, watching Michael's bare back as he left. What he didn't see was the blush that was growing on Michael's face as he saw Lucifer shirtless.

"Well that was fun," Lucifer muttered to himself. Then he remembered the way Michael always denied it every single time someone mentioned them being together and sighed. He was fine with it...but evidently Michael didn't feel the same.

Such randomness. I think next chapter I shall begin making them be all teenage crushy :P

I have also researched some camp activities, which turned into planning cute fluffy scenes with said camp activities. So there's something to look forward to.

It's weird to think that it's almost christmas...anyone else feel like this year has gone really fast?

*gives you all marshmallows*
