19 - Lazer Tag
Week 3/4 - Day 19 of 28? - Friday
"Sam wake up."
Sam didn't wake up. Gabe pouted at him.
"Saaaammy." Gabe nudged Sam who made a sleepy noise. Gabe thought for a second before flopping down across Sam's chest. "Wakeupwakeupwakeupwakeupwakeupwakeup."
"Shut uup," Sam murmured, trying to push Gabe off.
"Nope Sammy waaaaaaake up."
"God you are annoying."
"Nah."
Sam sighed and sat up, shoving Gabe off of his chest. Gabe chuckled as he just rolled onto Sam's legs, smiling up at him.
"What are we doing today?" Sam asked.
"Ask Luci," Gabe asked. "Probably something technology related."
"So a movie later then," Sam said, running a hand through Gabe's hair. Dean walked into the room suddenly and saw the two of them.
"Don't come in here Cas, they're being couply," Dean said, walking out of the room.
"Like you can talk Dean," Sam shouted back.
"Shut up bitch."
"Jerk."
Gabe laughed at the brothers, getting off of Sam and standing up.
Not long after, the four of them were at the main hall, having just eaten breakfast and waiting for Luci's explanation on what was happening today.
"Okay so," Luci called out. "Friday is technology day, but we've had games the last two times so we're doing something a little different. Technology also happens to include a little something called lasers."
"So what, we're going to laser each other to death?" Gabe called out. "Great plan Luci."
"Shut up or I'll stab you," Luci said. "Now, laser tag. Every man for himself, out in the forest again, you can form truces if you want to. In a clearing in the centre there's the thing that will reload your ammo and restore health. All the equipment is on the forest edge."
"And as always," Michael said, expecting what Luci would say next.
"Don't get lost in the forest or you'll come across the dead bodies that some of the readers hid there," Luci said.
"Okay, that's new," Michael said. "Don't question it."
Again not long after, they were all standing out the front of the forest.
"Okay so these things," Luci said, holding a headband type thing. "Is what you're aiming to hit when you shoot. It was easier than having those big giant vest things."
"And what if we just don't wear that?" Gabe asked.
"Then the gun doesn't work," Luci said. "They power each other. Don't cheat either or I'll set the hellhounds on you."
"Earth to Luci, they don't exist."
"Earth to Gabe, I killed you in the other world, don't think I won't do the same here."
"What are you talking about?"
"Luce shut up," Michael said, shoving Luci.
"Fine," Luci said.
Everyone got their guns and headbands thingys, and Gabe took Sam's and put it on Sam's head for him. Sam pouted up at him as it pushed his long hair into his face, and Gabe chuckled.
"Better?" Gabe said, pushing the hair out of Sam's face.
"Much," Sam said with a smile.
And so they went into the forest. Michael had a blank gun to signify the start again, and everyone went and chose spots to hide.
"Sammy, team?" Gabe asked.
"Maybe later," Sam said, smirking as he ran off into the forest. Gabe smiled and walked off in another direction.
Dean and Cas stayed together, Dean vowing to protect Cas from whoever came to kill them. Cas smiled and let Dean go along with his little game there. Michael and Lucifer were competitive as always and swore death on each other.
Michael shot the gun to start the match, after turning on the little box in the middle that would restore their health and ammo. To do that, there was a button on the guns and someone just had to be in range to press that and get their health and ammo back.
(This was how my first lazer tag was set up, in a forest too, it was the most fun I've had at lazer tag :P )
Sam did something smart. At the start he went straight to the centre, knowing that other people wouldn't be going there just yet. And he climbed a tree right on the edge of the clearing, within range to get ammo back but out of sight. The perfect camping spot.
Camping. It's a legitimate strategy. Anyone get that quote?
It didn't take long before people would start coming to the clearing to restore health or ammo. Whenever they did, Sam would just shoot them, causing much confusion and annoyance to the people. Eventually they went out of Sam's view, behind a tree or something to restore their ammo and were able to escape. It got Sam a lot of kills though.
Dean and Cas were working together, walking back to back most of the time and shooting down anyone they saw through the trees. Cas was getting considerably better at using a gun since paintball, and Dean was impressed by that.
Gabe was stalking through the trees when he saw the two, and smirked, crouching low and aiming directly for Dean's headband. He shot twice, hitting Dean both time. Dean swore and looked around for his invisible attacker. He saw Gabe and shot back with alarming accuracy, shooting enough times to ruin Gabe's health and therefore turn off the gun.
"Oh come on Deano," Gabe said, standing up since he was basically dead now.
"That's what you get Gabe," Cas said, still on the lookout. Gabe just grumbled under his breath and made his way back to the health clearing.
He stood next to the little health box and pressed the button on his gun, watching as he got his health and ammo back, only to immediately be killed again.
"What?" he said, and tried again. He was shot again. He glanced around, and looked up when he heard laughing from the tree. He saw Sam sitting there casually, blending in well with the surroundings.
"Truce Gabe?" he said.
"You are a genius," Gabe said, running up to climb the tree beside Sam, moving into a spot where he too would be blending in. "Have you been up here from the start."
"Yep," Sam said happily. "No one's seen me yet. Except you because I let you."
"Oh sure you did," Gabe said. "Oh hey look, new victims."
This time it was Lucifer, and they both shot at him, killing him within instants. Lucifer growled as he looked at the death screen on his gun, before trying to regain his health. Only to be killed again.
"I swear if there's someone camping out there," Luci called. "I know it's a camp, but that is not acceptable in a shooting game."
Gabe and Sam had their hands over their mouths, trying not to laugh as Luci failed to see them. They let Luci regain his health, only for the reason that there'd probably be a good Michifer showdown from it.
So let's follow Luci as he walks away from the clearing. He was on the hunt for Michael, and it didn't take long to find him considering Michael always went to the same spot.
"Mikey where are yoouu," Luci called as he walked through the trees. He heard gunshots and went for cover, avoiding getting hit. He looked around the tree and saw Michael aiming at him from within a group of bushes. They started a shooting war, which only ended when both of them were dead.
"Well that didn't work out too well," Michael said, standing up as he saw the little death screen on the gun.
"Yeah," Luci said, showing him the same screen. "There's people camping at the health box though."
"Well I think we've been going long enough anyway," Michael said. "Are we going to do the other game type too?"
"Hell yeah, the other type is the best."
Michael smiled and leaned up to kiss Luci softly, before leading them back to the black health box and using the blank gun to call everyone in.
When everyone was there...well Lucifer was mad at Gabe and Sam. He'd seen them climb down from the tree when Michael called everyone in.
"You shouldn't be allowed to do that," Luci muttered.
"There's no rules against it," Gabe said with a smile.
"Okay everyone," Michael said. "Next game type is easy. Oh and for the record, Sam won that round, he had the most kills. Gabriel too. They had a good strategy."
"It was cheating!" Luci yelled.
"Not technically," Michael said with a small smile. Luci just grumbled again. "Anyway, second game type is simple. King of the mountain. Or the little black box in this case. You have to stay in this clearing and be the last ones alive in this clearing. Oh and me and Luce get to team up for this one."
"Why don't we get to?" Gabe asked.
"Because you did in the last game," Michael said. "Now, everyone starts thirty steps away. Except for us. Because we start off as the kings."
"Unfair," Gabe muttered.
"Oh it's unfair but it's fun as hell," Luci said.
Everyone walked off to their starting places, while Michael and Luci stayed in the clearing. Michael shot the gun to signify the start, and everyone went running for the centre.
Michael and Luci as a team was one of the scariest things ever. They shot down everyone that came near them, leaving the people to sit dead in the centre of the clearing as they weren't allowed to come back. No one could get one shot in on them before they were shot down themselves.
Dean, Cas, Sam and Gabe all realized this and hung back until everyone else was dead. One look at the people dead in the clearing let Luci and Michael know it was those four who hadn't tried to kill them yet.
"You know," Dean said, where the four of them were grouped together. "We could just leave right now."
"We really could," Gabe said. "They wouldn't notice."
"They would," Cas said. "But they'll come looking for us now. Giving us a chance to take over the clearing and kill them while they're not expecting it."
"Good plan Cassie," Gabe said.
True to what Cas had said, Luci and Michael started venturing out into the trees cautiously, looking for them. That was when the four of them went running into the clearing and then shot the two of them in the backs. The two of them ran back in shock when they realized what had happened.
"Dammit," Luci muttered. "Every time Dean, just let us win for once."
"Nah," Dean said, smirking.
"You're forgetting that you weren't allowed to team," Michael said.
"No problem," Dean said, turning and shooting the other three with perfect accuracy and killing them all. "I win."
"Wow Dean, brutal," Gabe said. "You kill your own boyfriend."
Cas gave Dean really sad puppy dog eyes.
"Aw Cas I'm sorry," Dean said, walking over to Cas. Cas just turned away, faking a sob.
"How could you do this to me Dean," he said, making his voice crack.
"Baby please take me back," Dean said. Cas smiled and turned around, pulling Dean into a hug.
"Okay," he said. Dean chuckled and hugged Cas back.

That night, the six of them went up to Michael and Lucifer's cabin, to play a movie without the rest of the camp being there. Everyone else was down at the hall watching some random action movie.
"What do you guys want to watch?" Luci asked.
"Avengers," Sam said immediately.
"We watched that last week," Dean said.
"Avengers 2," Sam said.
"What about Lord of the Rings?" Cas suggested. "I still need to get around to watching that."
"I'm fine with that too," Sam said. "Anything nerdy really."
"I agree with Lord of the Rings," Michael said. "We'll be up late but oh well."
"Stop being responsible," Luci said, pulling Michael down onto the couch. Michael smiled and leaned against Luci, putting his legs up across the rest of the couch. Destiel took the other couch, lying down side by side, while Sabriel sat on the floor. Gabe leaned back against Michifer's couch while Sam sat between his legs, leaning back against Gabe's chest.
They spent the next three hours like that, watching the first Lord of the Rings movie.
(I typed that as Lord of the Wings...)
When it ended, Michael decided to bring up a topic everyone had been avoiding.
"So what happens next week?" he asked. "Obviously you guys are all leaving and are gonna be separated...we'll be fine though."
"I don't know," Dean said. "Dad...he's going to make this difficult." Sam winced.
"Why?" Gabe asked. "Couldn't we just get your phone numbers or something?"
"Our dad is overprotective," Sam said. "And homophobic. He won't let us stay in contact with any of you guys."
"I tried to stay friends with someone I met here last year," Dean said. "Benny. Dad jumped to conclusions, cut off any communication I had with the outside world."
"So then..." Cas said. "We won't be able to..."
Dean just shook his head with a sad, pained look. "I'm really sorry Cas. But I'm eighteen, I'll be able to move out, I'll bring Sam with me, we'll come to where you guys are."
"Sounds like a plan," Gabe said, pulling Sam close to him. "I'm not ready to lose you yet, probably not ever." Sam smiled at him.
"What about just next week in particular?" Luci asked. "Most people leave on Monday, when are you guys leaving?"
"Well," Cas said. "We have to help you with the pack up so we'll be here until the last day."
"We have to leave on Friday," Dean said sadly. "That's only a week away..."
"No..." Gabe said quietly. "Come on, just stay two more days after that."
"Dad won't let us," Sam said sourly. "He wants us back so we can move away. Again." Dean shared a pained look with Sam.
"Don't worry," Dean said. "I'm eighteen, it'll be over soon."
"I hope so," Sam said quietly.
And so, that confirms the number that was uncertain on the counter for days they had left together.
Week 3/4, Day 19 of 26
Because really, the moment they don't have the other is the moment the camp ends.
~~
Yeah so it's a bit shorter than what you thought :P I'm probably going to make the other part to this a sequel, it might be short depending on how the story goes, but oh well :P
I've been obsessing a lot over supernatural lately, more than I would in my usual day to day life...no idea why, it's just taking over my life again :P
Oh that great moment when you realize it's a family members birthday the next day and you haven't gotten them anything...I'm such a great person
*Gives everyone tic tacs*
