12 - Fear Brings Us Closer

Have an early update coz I felt motivated ^_^

 Week 2/4, Day 12 - Friday

Cas woke up before Dean did, looking over at the sleeping figure on the other bed. Dean looked peaceful in his sleep...

Cas shook the thoughts from his head and walked out of the room.

"Pst, Cassie," Gabe said. He was sitting on the couch, wide awake.

"Hello Gabriel," Cas said, moving to sit beside Gabe on the couch. "Why are you up?"

"My mind is confusing me."

"In what sense?"

"I like Sam."

"Yes you do."

"Well okay, how nice of you to clear that up for me." Gabriel rolled his eyes. "What the hell do I do?"

"You know I don't like getting into the lives of my family like this," Cas said, sighing. "You need to decide what to do Gabriel."

"Okay but advice would be great."

"I don't know."

"Come on, tell me."

"No I seriously don't know. There's only so much I can tell about someone by the way they act, Sam especially. I don't know what you should do."

"Great," Gabe muttered. "Really reassuring. The genius doesn't know what to do."

"You'll figure it out."

"Sure I will. Just like you're figuring out what to do with Dean."

"I am waiting until he stops questioning his feelings. I don't want to push him into anything."

"Sometimes people need a push," Gabe said, shrugging as he stood up. "You have two weeks Cas, don't wait the entire time." Gabe walked over to his room shared with Sam to wake up the younger Winchester. Cas just sighed and thought about Gabe had said.

Dean walked out of the room then, yawning. "Morning Cas."

"Good morning Dean," Cas said, smiling at Dean from the couch.

Not long after, the four of them were sitting in the main hall. It was a Friday, which meant they yet again had technology out, and there would be a movie later.

(Guys I just realized it's day 12. You don't know what that means because you haven't seen the plan that says what happens on every day...but something is sooner than I thought it was :D )

"Okay everyone!" Luci called out. "Today, horror games. Have fun with that you little—" Michael put his hand over Luci's mouth, whispering something to him. Luci rolled his eyes.

They walked over to the other four, since who cares about anyone else on this camp?

"Seriously, you can't just call everyone on the camp little shits," Michael said.

"How do you know that's what I was going to say?" Luci replied.

"Because I know you."

"Naww," Gabe said. "And here we have a wild Michifer in it's natural habitat."

"I like how it isn't even two different things, it's just Michifer," Dean said.

"Like you guys can talk," Michael said. "The author's trying to think of a name to refer to all four of you, seeing as you're always together."

"But we're not always together," Cas pointed out.

"Close enough," Luci said. "Are you guys going to play any of the games today?"

"Maybe," Dean said. "It looks like most of the games are already taken though." He gestured to where people were piling into the rooms that the games were set up in.

"Oh we have one set up for us," Luci said. "You guys are welcome to join."

"Great, sounds like fun," Dean said with sarcasm. "Horror games."

"Which one?" Gabriel asked.

"A little game we like to call Fnaf," Luci said.

"What?" Gabe said as Sam smiled slightly.

"Five Nights at Freddy's," Sam said. "Jump scares."

"I do not understand how a game can be scary," Cas said.

"Oh you'll see Cassie," Luci said, smirking. "You'll see."

(Fnaf is the only horror game I know well enough to do this)

~~

Not long later, the four of them sat in the room that had been set up specifically for this game. Completely darkness, surround sound, massive screen.

"You're kidding me," Dean said. "Of all the games to do this with."

Lucifer just laughed, sitting down on the couch, Michael leaning against him. Dean and Cas sat on the other side of the couch, leaving Gabe and Sam to sit on the floor, leaning back against the couch.

"This is gonna be a nightmare," Dean muttered, as Luci got the controls out.

"Who wants to go first?" Luci asked.

"Gimme," Michael said, snatching the keyboard from Luci. Luce smiled at him and ruffled his hair.

And so began the playing of the first Five Night's at Freddy's.

"Michael I swear to god if you let us get jump scared," Gabe muttered as Michael was frantically checking cameras and lights on the game.

"It'll be your fault," Michael said.

"Fine, I'll shut up."

"No it'll just be your fault because it's you."

A moment later came a weird clicking sound as Michael tried to turn on lights. Sam smirked slightly and looked away from the screen, as the rest of them were confused.

And then jump scare.

Michael, being the one playing, got the biggest fright, making a screeching noise and jumping into Lucifer's lap, throwing the controls. Cas, Dean and Gabe just flinched slightly.

"It is so much worse when you're playing it," Michael muttered, his head buried in Luci's chest. Luci was stroking his hair gently, trying to calm him down.

"We'll see about that," Dean said, picking up the controls from where they had been dropped.

Dean made it three nights, to the shock of the rest of them. Then Foxy the little bitch got out of his room and Dean made the mistake of checking the hallway which set him off. Dean didn't have time to close the door before they were killed.

This time Dean had the biggest reaction to the jump scare. He flinched violently, smashing his arm into the armrest of the couch. Dean swore while Cas looked at him worriedly.

"Is it really that bad when you're playing?" Cas asked.

"Yes," Dean muttered, rubbing his arm. "You try it."

Cas shrugged and took the controls.

Cas made it half a night. On the first night. Before he couldn't understand how the game worked and used all the power.

When he was killed by Freddy, he had no reaction. He just looked at the screen for a few moments before turning to Dean, curling into a ball against Dean's side.

"You okay there Cas?" Dean said.

Cas just shook his head. Dean smiled softly, putting his arm around Cas comfortingly.

"Okay, I wanna try," Gabe said. "You all suck at this." Sam scoffed. "What was that Sam?"

"I don't suck at this game."

"Fine, you can try next." Gabe started the game, and then he just had horrible bad luck.

It was night two and Gabe was looking at a specific camera when Sam said something.

"Gabriel don't put the cameras down."

"What?" Gabe said, the camera already down. Sam winced.

"You're dead."

"What? Why?"

Gabe looked back to the screen to see a creepy lifeless animatronic sitting on the office chair in the room.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Gabriel yelled, throwing the controls. Moments later they were jump scared, but the other five were just laughing at the very frightened Gabriel who had stood up and run behind the couch. Sam crawled behind the couch to comfort the scared Gabriel.

"You okay?" Sam asked, looked at Gabe curled in a ball.

"The hell just happened?" Gabe whispered, looking around the dark room with wide eyes. "It can't hurt us, right?"

Sam smiled softly. "Just a game Gabe. You got Golden Freddy."

"Yeah well he's a jerk."

Sam laughed softly, and the two of them moved back around the front of the couch.

"How did you know that was going to happen?" Gabe asked.

"The picture on the wall was different."

"You've played this before haven't you?"

Sam just raised an eyebrow. He took the controls and started night 1.

And then passed night 1, and then night 2. And 3 and 4. And 5. And then night 6. And then he went on custom mode while everyone just looked at the screen with wide eyes.

"You're not doing 20202020 mode are you?" Dean asked.

"I've passed it before."

"Yeah, show off."

Basically, the hardest mode in the game, pretty much impossible to beat. And Sam was about to try it.

"Do you have a life kiddo?" Gabe asked as Sam navigated the cameras and lights with unbelievable skill.

"Nope," Sam said. "I also hate this game."

"Then how the hell are you doing this?"

"I hate it. But I'm good at it."

Gabe just sighed. Cas was still curled up against Dean if anyone was wondering, flinching whenever the sound of Freddy's laugh echoed through the room. Which was literally every moment.

Roughly nine minutes later, the clocked switched over to 6am. And Sam won.

"That's insane," Lucifer said.

"Impossible," Michael said.

"Amazing," Gabe said. "Wow Sammy, you're good at this." Sam smiled at Gabriel.

"And I think we've killed Cas," Dean said, looking down at Cas who still hadn't moved from his spot against Dean's side.

"Nah, let's leave him there," Luci said. "He's happy there."

Dean gave Luci a look of confusion as Luce just sniggered. Cas made a little whining sounded and curled more against Dean's side.

"Well I think we should go now," Gabriel said, standing and leaving the room, Sam following behind. Michael and Lucifer did the same, leaving Dean there with Cas. Except Dean couldn't move with Cas leaning against his side.

"Uh Cas?" Dean said. "Are we going to leave?"

"Nah," Cas said, his voice muffled by Dean's shirt.

"Okay," Dean said slowly. Cas moved slightly, looking up at Dean with his bluer than blue eyes. Dean realized how close they were, and was glad Cas couldn't see his blush in the dark of the room.

Neither of them noticed that Gabriel had taken the controls for the game with him.

"So," Dean said kinda awkwardly. "Come here often?"

"You are so lame."

"I know."

Neither of them noticed Gabriel starting the game and purposely not doing anything.

"Hey Dean," Cas said slowly, the words Gabe had said earlier going through his head.

"Yeah Cas?"

Cas hesitated. And in that time, the game they'd completely forgotten about suddenly had a jump scare and the sound was still up all the way.

Both of them made some kind of screaming sound and jumped up, running out of the room to where the other four where laughing.

"Bitches," Dean muttered.

Cas just glared at them, specifically at Gabriel. Gabe seemed to get the message and gave him an apologetic look.

"Well, we're going to go do stuff," Lucifer said, grabbing Michael's arm and dragging him away.

"Stuff," Gabe stated. "Not suspicious at all. I'd suggest spying on them but that probably isn't something we want to see." Cas scrunched up his nose adorably at the thought and Dean smiled slightly at him.

"Well Sammy," Gabe said. "Are you any good at the other Five Night's games?"

"Yep."

"Prove it."

"Fine."

The two of them walked back into the room, leaving Dean and Cas alone again.

"Do you want to go back in there?" Dean asked Cas.

"No way. No way in hell. That game is going to haunt my dreams."

"Don't worry, I'll protect you," Dean said, smiling. Cas smiled up at him and Dean felt his heart flutter slightly.

No way. I'm gay. Hey that rhymed. Really though...shit I actually feel this way for Cas, when the hell did this happen?

"You're thinking about things," Cas stated. "Back to the cabin?"

Dean nodded, and they walked back to their cabin, sitting on the couch in the main room. Dean glanced over at Cas, eyes drinking in the messy black hair and blue eyes.

"Dean," Cas said, looking over at Dean. "You realize I can see you staring at me, right?"

"What?" Dean said, feeling the blush spread across his face. "I wasn't staring at you..."

"Remember who you're talking to?"

"Stop being a genius and let me lie."

Cas raised an eyebrow at Dean. "So you were lying."

Dean spluttered. "Shut up."

Cas looked at Dean carefully for a moment and then sighed softly. Dean gave him a look of confusion but Cas shook his head.

And the subject was dropped.

≈~≈~≈~≈

"Luci, we have to go."

"They won't miss us."

"We run this place, I think they will."

"Oh come on." Luci kissed Michael softly again and Michael couldn't even try to resist. Luci smiled into the kiss, pulling Michael closer to him.

"Luce, seriously," Michael said, pulling away. Luci ignored him, kissing him again. Michael pushed him off slightly. "We have to go. You have to set up the movie for them."

"They can figure it out," Luci said, smirking at Michael who was red in the face. He kissed Michael again, backing him against a wall and putting a hand on either side of his head.

"As much as I'm enjoying this," Michael said breathlessly, "you know Gabriel will get suspicious and come looking for us."

"Oh god you had to use the little brother card didn't you."

"Yep."

Lucifer sighed and moved away from Michael.

"There's always later," Michael said with a smirk and a wink.

"And that is why I love you."

Michael smiled. "And I guess I do love you too."

"Of course you do. Who doesn't love Satan?"

"Every Christian ever?"

"Shh I killed them all."

"What."

Luci just laughed and walked out of the cabin, a chuckling Michael following him.

They went to the hall where everyone had just had dinner and were waiting for the promised movie.

"And here we have a horror movie," Lucifer said. "Don't know which one because the author doesn't do horror."

"Again with the wall, you have to build that back up in the author's other book you know."

"Shh that's a different me."

"The hell are you guys talking about?" Gabriel said, snapping into existence beside them.

"Nothing," Michael said before Luci could say anything.

Luci set up the movie and started playing it. This time him and Michael were curled up together on a beanbag.

Sam was sitting beside Gabe, Gabe's arm protectively around Sam since Sam wasn't exactly a horror person.

And then there was Cas who was discovering how much he hated horror. About halfway through the movie he turned to Dean, buried his head in Dean's chest while wrapping his arms around him and didn't move from there. Dean put his arms around Cas, stroking his hair throughout the rest of the movie to comfort him.

Dean couldn't help but notice the way Cas fitted so well against him, how he loved the feeling of just having Cas there.

Cas managed to tune out the movie and just listened to Dean's heart beat the rest of the night.

Sam ended up leaning his head on Gabriel's shoulder, finding enough comfort in Gabe's warmth to make it through the horror movie.

Gabriel may have completely forgotten about the movie as his mind was distracted by the Sam beside him. He was thinking about what he should do with this whole situation...he came to no conclusion.

Michael and Lucifer were just being fluffy because they're already together.

So...it's about time something happened with Destiel and Sabriel don't you think?

~~

QUESTION: what should they do in the next day? I have a plan for pretty much everyday except two, the next day is one of them. You guys decide :)

Sam is pretty much me with the whole Fnaf thing...hate the game, hate it so much, but I'm bloody good at it. Stupid game skills.

Hey so heaps of you said Happy Birthday last chapter, thank you guys so much ^_^ That pretty much did make my day. Other than my friend buying me a frying pan that is...I question her sanity. And mine.

AND thank you all so much for 8k reads :D *Gives everyone pocky*
