Chapter 2: Otaku

Shelby's Pov

I knew that Deaunte just wanted to get me away from that dick. "Come on Shelby let's go! We need to find our way around here. Unlike Josie we didn't get a tour around this place like she did." Deaunte told me leading me to a line of tables outside the main doors of our new university. "How can Josh handle a bastard like that!" *Growl* 'I am going to kill him!' "Calm down Shelby! ... Josie meet him at an anime con... Which one was it?" Deaunte asked me completely changing the subject and if he meant to get me of our previous topic then it worked. "Umm... I think it was... Aki con?" I replied but it was more of a question then an answer. "No it couldn't be Aki con. She cosplayed as Krista from Attack on Titan... Ah! It was Mtac! She cosplayed as Juuzou from Tokyo Ghoul!" Deaunte said quite proud of himself that he remembered. "Oh yeah! Was it Tokyo Ghoul-" Before I could finished I was interrupted by a shriek. "Did you say Tokyo Ghoul!" We turned to see a red (More like ginger/Coquelicot) head boy he wasn't that tall and had very short hair. Right next to him was another boy this one with dyed purple hair (A mix between Violet and Eggplant) and a little black at the roots. "Yeah?" I answered confused at the small freak standing before me. "My name is Allen! This is Lucius! Are you guys new?" The ginger haired boy who's name was Allen asked us. "Yup!" Deaunte answered while I still gave them that your insane look. "Hey let's hang out!" Allen shouted clearly insane. "Okay." Deaunte said clearly just wanting to get this over with. "So I heard you like Tokyo Ghoul, I also like-" I drowned out Allen continuing behind Deaunte and Allen.

 I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked up to see the boy who name was Lucius. "He's annoying." Lucius said. "Yes!" I shouted back at him. "Shh! Quite down man... What's your name?" Lucius asked. "The names Shelby nice to meet you." I said feeling a lot better than earlier. "Well he already told you my name but it's Lucius!" He said that as a grin spread across his face. "I like your name." I complimented him giving him a smile. "Oh! Yeah I might as well tell you now. Their are rumors that this university have witches in it so... watch your back." Lucius warned me his happy and playful expression turning in to serious. "Hahaha! Nice joke but I am not easily tricked!" I said confident. "No I'm not joking their are witches in this school... Their is a class just for witchcraft! Their is a chance that you could have that class!" Lucius warned me again. "Really!?!?!?!" I asked my eyes widening. "Yes! I am not joking!" Lucius said that right as we reached the tables.

We looked at the tables to see that they are alphabetical from last name. We got to the table that coordinated with our last name and we found a letter with our full name on it. I moved away from the crowded tables and opened my letter and looked inside. On the inside was a key with a tag, and two folded up pieces of paper inside. I grabbed the key and read what was on the tag. On the tag was 'Room 184' and I put the key in the back pocket of my jeans. I grabbed both of the papers to see a map and my schedule. I looked at my schedule and...

(I struggled to put the schedule up because my computer was like 'f u' and I made the schedules on my computer so I had to find a way to transfer to my computer to my tablet! -_- That took forever!!!)

'10 periods!' I eternally screamed looking at my schedule. "Shelby!" I looked up to see Deaunte. "What's your schedule?" Deaunte asked me. "Here." I said this and Deaunte took mine and looked at it. "Here's mine." Deaunte said holding his out to me not taking his eyes of my schedule. I took his and read it.

"So we have the same...2nd, 6th, and 7th period together!" Deaunte said happily because of what Josie said awhile back.

Flashback

"Josh! Josh! Wake up!" I shoted at the sleeping Josie on the desk. "No!" Josie shouted back at me. "Going to school doesn't mean you can just go to sleep! It's a place where you learn!" I'm sorry okay! It's just that I am still trying to get accepted." Josie finished yawning slowly after. "Your still trying to get into that college!" I shouted mad but shocked at how dedicated she is to this university. "Yes! It's a good university! And it's in Ireland!" Josie said a smile spreading across her face. "Can't you just go to your second best university than?" I asked bored. "Sure but... Only if you and... Deaunte go with me!" Josie demanded a grin spreading across her face. "What university was it?" I asked her a bit scared if it's a high tech school like the past 5 university's that denied her. "Oxford University!" She shouted most likely getting the attention of the entire school. "Is it a good school?" I asked unsure. "Is it a good school excuse me! Yes it's a good school!" Josie shouted at me jumping of the desk and shaking me by my sholders. *slam* "Bear hug!" The door slammed open and someone ran in and jumped on Josie. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Josie screamed from shock almost losing her balance but catching herself right before she fell. "Deaunte! What the fuck!" Josie shouted. "Hahahaha!" Me and Deaunte burst out in laughter. "Fuck you!" Josie yelled. 'Oh shit!' "Calm down Josh!" I shouted jokingly  (What? Is that even a word?) "Fine! Now Deaunte I have a question for you.... but first can you let me go... having trouble breathing." Josie said her face slowly turning purple. Deaunte let go of Josie immediately after she finished her sentence. "So what do you want to ask me." Deaunte said happily.

Deaunte's pov

Still in Flashback

"So what do you want to ask me?" I asked a smile appearing on my face. "Are you willing to go to the Oxford University? Steve said she would." Josie asked her tone pleading.  "Where is it?" I asked interested. "England." Josie finished saying it like it was normal. "England! Josh you know we are not even close to England!" Shelby complained rethinking her decision now. "Fine then I will just not go to college, fail at life and die in a back ally way by getting eaten by squirrel!" Josie shouted heading for the door. "Okay! Okay we will go Josie!" I shouted quite scared for my childhood friend. "Yay! I'll go to class know!" Josie shouted leaving with her fist up in the air in victory. "I hope this was a good idea." Shelby said still looking at the door. "Yeah I hope nothing bad happens at that university." After I said that me and Shelby went to our 7th period.

Yay! Finished I am so sorry that I didn't update in a while and sorry for being on hiatus without telling you guys but 1222 words! I will try to give myself a schedule on when I should update and I thank you for your time and I will make sure this doesn't happen again but schools a bitch so it's hard to keep a schedule.
