Jasper was quick to awaken gasping as he shot up from a familiar bed in the school nurses office. His eyes quickly scanned the room for the punk that sucker punched him but only found the nurse eyeing him suspiciously from her desk nearby. Jasper let out a sigh and laid back down.

"My my Jasper it's your first day back and you're already picking fights." The nurse remarked fiddling with some paperwork.

"No! I fell." Jasper quickly protests definitely not interested in getting a strike added to his file on the first day. He had some violent tendencies and this was the exact thing he was trying to avoid since last year he was almost kicked out of school for his anger issues.

"Really? So I'm guessing you got that shiner over the summer then?" The nurse remarks cockily. Jasper quickly scrambled for his phone pulling it out to get a good look at his face. Sure enough a big bruise had formed around his eye. Jasper rolls his eyes and gets up from the bed bragging his bag that was laying by the door.

"Can I go back to class now?" Jasper asks impatiently. The nurse sighs but nods.

"Oh and thank that nice boy William Nicholas for carrying you and your bag all the way here. I told him to get to class but he insisted on waiting outside..." The nurse calls before Jasper could open the door.

Jasper let out a loud groan before tightening the strings of his hoodie hoping Will wouldn't see the mark he left on Jasper's skin. Opening the door quite aggressively Jasper practically ran down the hallway to get away from any confrontation with other humans let alone the boy who punched him in the face.

"Hey dickwad!" Will yelled down the hallway trying to catch up to Jasper. He startled Jasper by grabbing onto one of his arms and pulling him back sharply. Without turning around Jasper clenched his fist but didn't respond. "Hey look at me when I'm talking to you." Will growls pushing Jasper closer to letting out the anger he'd been holding inside.

"What?" Jasper spits out trying to contain his anger. Will loosens his grip seeing that Jasper is cooperating.

"Where's my thank you? I dragged you fat ass all the way here." Will complains with a sarcastic tune to his voice.

     Jasper drags out a long breath before snapping his body around and grabbing hold of Will's red hoodie. Jasper lifts Will up slightly before slamming him against a pair of nearby lockers making a loud noise.

     "Don't talk to me." Jasper snarls so close to Will's ear if me moved an inch closer he would be touching it. Jasper pulled back slightly letting Will view his eye not giving two shits anymore before dropping him and walking away.

     Jasper wasn't expecting the next thing that happened but was definitely not in the right headspace to react correctly.

"Boys! What are you doing out here? Do you have hall passes?" Jasper tenses at the voice of his English teacher's strict voice yelling directly at him.

'Fuck' he thought. He forgot to get a hall pass from the nurse like an idiot. He looked over at Will only to see him just as dumbfounded as Jasper.

"Detention. Both of you. Three o'clock." The teacher stated unenthusiastically. Jasper watched the teacher walk away grinding his teeth. When the teacher was finally gone Jasper whipped around ready to strangle Will.

Will flinched seeing Jasper move towards him making Jasper realise he couldn't do anything without getting in more trouble. Jasper let out a deep breath through his nostrils before charging at a random wall and punching it with all the force he had. Holding back a scream and a few tears Jasper let his now bloodied hand fall to his side. Without a second glance Jasper walked straight past Will with full intentions to head to the bathroom until three and try and understand how the fuck his first day of school had become so hectic and terrible.

Will watched Jasper walk past him staring at the crimson liquid running down his hand. Letting out a small sigh Will pulled his hat down over his eyes again stuffed his hands in his pockets now on a new mission to find some bandages.
