It's now been a week since Alex's escape from the Hydra facility. And now he was living in a very nice apartment in Harlem. And during that time, Alex managed to improve his skills a little and raise his Status, thanks to a Daily Quest that he received after his escape.

With this evolution in his Spider-Sense, he became able to see a brief glimpse of the future, allowing him to discover what threat is coming. Just like now he can see other beings through walls, as if it were a kind of echo location.

And with the evolution of his Martial Arts Skill, he became even more efficient in his strikes. He also developed some equipment to assist him during combat.

And he also took the opportunity to study the composition of his costume. Having discovered that it was made using a junction of highly resistant fibers. Making it practically bullet and cut safe. And it's also fireproof. Just as he had a system integrated into the suit, giving him: a greater range of vision, x-ray vision, thermal vision, among other functions.

Just as he discovered that his shield was made using a mixture of five special alloys. They are: Vibranium, Adamantium, Uru, Nth Metal and Eternium. Called Aethranium Supremus. Which is the same material that covers your skeleton. Providing a considerable improvement in your skills. Which was also the same material that those ingots he picked up were made of.

He also analyzed the compound from the vials he took from the laboratory where he woke up. Called Mutanex-Alpha, it is a compound created to grant superhuman, or superhuman, abilities to whoever receives it.

But now? Alex found himself swinging around New York City. Enjoying your own freedom. When he notices a large amount of smoke rising into the sky, with some fire trucks heading towards the source of the smoke. But they ended up being unable to do so due to work being done on the street.

Alex: They won't make it in time. I need to do something.

He then began to swing towards the smoke, hoping he could help in some way. Meanwhile, at the place where the fire is starting, many people, as well as police and firefighters, were gathering near the fire and assessing its appearance. It wasn't going very well. The smoke was getting dark and flames appeared on the top of the building at the same time as people could hear screams, who seemed terrified by what was happening.

Officer: Get everyone away from the scene until further notice!

The police officer told his fellow officers and kept people away so they wouldn't disturb his work and then a group of firefighters came with the hose and were spraying water on the building but they were not getting close to the fire and the smoke was spreading quickly. Then, out of nowhere, two of the heroines known as Spider-Woman and Ghost-Spider appeared, who heard what was happening and saw the smoke.

Spider-Woman: Officer, what's the situation?

Police Officer: Oh Spider-Woman and Ghost-Spider. I'm glad you two arrived, we have a fire that's spreading quickly and we managed to get everyone out in time, but we're not sure if anyone else is trapped inside.

Spider-Woman: How many people did you take out?

Police Officer: I think basically everyone, including families and people who work in the stores below.

Ghost-Spider: Are you sure, officer?

Police officer: I believe that...

Woman: My baby is there!!!

A woman came running towards the building, but was stopped by the police officer to calm her down.

Police Officer: Ma'am, I can't let you in there, please step aside and let us handle this.

Woman: My baby is there!!! Please save my baby!!!

Ghost-Spider: We have to save her son!

Spider-Woman: Spider, the fire is spreading fast! We can't go in like this!

Woman: Please someone save my baby!

Firefighter: Wait, look!

Admittedly, everyone, including the heroines, looked up to the sky and saw something or someone in a spider-themed costume, with a star on their chest, who was swinging towards the burning building that caught the attention of both heroines.

Spider-Woman: What?

Ghost-Spider: Who is this?

Woman: Save my baby!!! Please!!!

Soon the figure dressed as a spider entered the burning building breaking a window while everyone outside waited for what would happen next, in which the heroines who were wondering who that person in the costume was and the mother of the baby who asked for help was shaking with fear for his son. Then suddenly everyone looked to see more dark smoke coming out of the building and then a huge explosion happened and fire shot out of the windows.

Woman: NOOOO!!!

The mother screams in shock and fear.

But then, crossing one of the walls, the figure dressed as a spider came out, shield in hand, and landed safely on the floor, the tension was noticeable in the environment, the mother shedding several tears, thinking the worst. But then the spider-clad figure lowered his shield, revealing a baby in his arms, unharmed. In which both spider-themed heroines got a good look at the person who saved the baby, in which it was none other than Alex himself, even though both heroines have never seen anyone like him before.

Alex: Don't worry ma'am. Your baby is fine.

He says and hands the child to his mother, who is unharmed, as the woman cries with happiness.

Woman: Oh, God bless you, sir. God bless you... Thank you...

Police: Who are you?

Alex: Later. Right now give me those fire extinguishers. I need to put out the fire before it spreads any further, and quickly.

Firefighter: We already have reinforcements coming here.

Alex: They won't make it in time! I passed them on my way here. There are works being done on the street.

The firefighters then gave Alex two fire extinguishers and he soon returned to the burning building while the heroines remained shocked by what they had just seen and wanted to know who that masked man was. Then, just after a while, the fire and smoke subsided, which meant Alex put out the fire and soon went down and everything was fine.

Alex: The fire is out and I checked every part of the building to see if anyone was left inside, there was no one else, and the cause of the fire was an oven that was left on.

Police Officer: Thanks for clearing that up. But who are you? I've never seen someone like you around before.

Alex: I'm new in town. And I don't have a name yet.

Alex said then walking away as everyone took photos and videos of the masked man and celebrated for him saving a child's life, in which that child's mother smiled at her son's savior. The heroines came out of their shock and decided to follow the spider hero and ask him some questions.

Spider-Woman: Where did he go?

Ghost-Spider: I just saw him turning this way.

???: I imagine you two want to talk to me.

A voice says behind the heroines, with both of them turning around and noticing the spider, sitting in a water tank.

Spider-Woman: Wow... I loved the costume.

Ghost-Spider: Spider, please let me talk. *Cough* Hello. I am Ghost-Spider and this is my partner, Spider-Woman.

Alex: I know. I searched for you two on the internet, along with the other heroes and heroines.

Spider-Woman: I must say, I've never seen anyone like you before. What is your name? Where are you from?

When Alex was about to respond, he placed two fingers in his ear area, and he seemed to be talking to someone.

Alex: Ok... Are you sure?... Okay... I'm already going there.

He said, soon turning to the two arachnid heroines and saying:

Alex: Sorry. But duty calls.

He said, then waving two fingers and adding:

Alex: See you around.

He said, soon shooting a web and swinging away. Leaving the two heroines, even more curious, behind.

Spider-Woman: We have to tell the others.

Ghost-Spider: I agree.

And this was Alex Cooper's debut in the world of heroes.
