Peter hadn't moved for three hours. He'd been sitting on top of the same skyscraper just thinking. A dangerous pastime, he knew. He had been able to calm down but he wasn't quite ready to go back to the tower yet. He knew Nat was probably right that they should tell Fury, but he was still hesitant. He allowed himself another hour before swinging back. Night had fallen and the city was quieter. The wind was cold but he hardly felt it. He made it to the tower and entered through the window in his room.

"JARVIS, could you please inform the others that I got back?"

"Of course, Spiderman."

"You can call me Peter." he said smiling shyly at the ceiling.

"Of course, Peter." the AI sounded like she was smiling.

He took of his suit and pulled on a pair of sweats and a hoodie.

"RAAJA, do you think it's okay to tell Fury?"

RAAJA hummed in his ear. He was using and earpiece, he still hadn't integrated her into his room.

"I think," RAAJA started, "that being here with the Avengers is good for you. They'll protect you if something goes wrong. And of course, I will too."

"So I should tell him?"

"That's something you need to decide for yourself."

Peter sighed, of course she would say something like that. Peter sighed again, then walked out of his room to the Avengers living room area. Thor was missing but everyone else was there.

"Hey guys."

"Hey..." Steve started to say then noticed Peter wasn't wearing a mask.

"It's Peter."

Natasha smiled at him, "Hello, Peter. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Peter smiled nervously, "It's a pleasure to meet you to, Mam."

"Call me Nat."

"Ok." Peter said bashfully, unaware that the other Avengers were gaping at them, especially at Nat who was showing a lot more feelings than she normally did. Clint was smiling though, glad that there was someone else Nat felt comfortable around.

"Are we all introducing ourselves now?" Tony said. "Because if we are, I am Tony Stark, the Iron Man. My science bro over there is Bruce, Miss Assassin is Nat, she already introduced herself but I like to be thorough, birdbrain is Clint, and thunderbolt is probably passed out in his room from too much ale. How that could even happen is beyond me. And last, and definitely least, is Mr. Patriot, Steve. Did I miss anyone?"

"Yeah, you forgot to mention the fact that you're a tin can full of unintelligent worms!" Clint said pointing at Tony.

"Well you're a Sesame Street character!" Tony retorted.

Peter smiled. He sat on the couch next to Nat.

"Have you decided about Fury?" Nat asked.

Peter hesitated for a second before nodding. "As long as its not in any records."

"Understood. I'll go speak with him now." Natasha got up and walked out of the room followed by Bruce and Steve.

Peter relaxed watching the insult match between two of the supposed earth's mightiest heroes.

"Muggle"

"Factionless pansycake"

"Mortal"

"We're both mortals"

"Well you're worse then the Percy Jackson movies"

"Take that back"

"Never"

"Well you're more useless than a shoe shop in the shire"

"How could you"

"Hahahaha"

"You put ketchup on your pizza" (no offense to anyone who does this, I have friends who do this and I tease them but they tease me for dipping fries in ice cream, so we're all good)

"That's normal"

"Yeah right, next you'll say the Princes Bride was a boring movie" (it's also a book, has anyone read it?)

"Well I hope your earbud cords get tangled forever"

"I don't even use earbuds I just play it over the speakers"

"Well you're the disappointment that comes when your uncapped pen doesn't turn into a sword."

"Yeah, well then you're Umbridge"

Gasp

"No wait I'm sorry I didn't mean that. I got carried away."

"It's okay" sniffle, sniffle.

"Lets go watch the Perc Jackson movies and throw things at the T.V."

"That sound fun"

Peter watched them walk out of the room. "JARVIS?"

"Yes, Peter?"

"Please tell me you recorded that?"

"Of course. Would you like me to send it to your computer?"

"That would be great, J" Peter smirked. He was going to enjoy living here.
