Leaving loved ones behind

Jessica knew that she had to leave. Now or never. She knew the longer she stayed the harder it would be for everybody. She knew that it would break her and her kids but on the other side they couldn't risk it. She got herself into trouble... His father was searching for them and once the media found them it wouldn't be long until both of them were dead and burried somewhere in the middle of nowhere. They couldn't stay and risk that. She was pregnant and they needed to be even more carefully now.

He hated himself for doing that to her. He knew how  much she wished to stay and he wished he had never  taken her in the first place. Why did he have to choose her out of all the women in the whole wide world? He hurt her and he couldn't get over the fact that he put her in a dangerous situation and ripped her out of her family just so he could please his family. He never thought in his life that he'd have such a strong realationship with a woman but Jessica proved him wrong. He just couldn't be mean to her.

He was always thaught that woman are worth nothing and that they deserve to be treated like what they are... nothing. He never learned that you can also have a good realationship with a woman let alone be in love. But it happened to him and he would do everything to keep her safe.

Even if it would mean losing his own life. Jessica was the sense of his life, now that she showed him how wonderful love can be. He'd never slap her again. This time was behind them. He couldn't forgive himself for leaving this scar on her arm...

She would be always marked and whos fault was that? His... "I think you better get going. This little one is kicking me all the time and I am tired... It was a stressful day," she said and Leo looked at her surprised.

"Leaving?" Shura asked, scared her mum would disappear out of their lives again. "We can meet tomorrow... But now I need my sleep or I'll be grumpy in the morning..." she said and the three of them stood up. One after the other hugged her and neither of them wanted to let go, afraid she'd be gone if they did.

"See you tomorrow mum..." Walker said and Jessica closed the door behind them, leaning against it. She closed her eyes and exhaled loudly. She wiped away a few tears and Leo said sadly, "We won't be here anymore when they arrive tomorrow morning, will we?"

Jessica avoided his question and just said, "It's for the best... It hurts less if we just disappear. They need to move on. It's way too dangerous for us to stay here and besides that... I miss our home."

She sat down in Leo's lap and kisses his lips softly. "I miss us being alone all day and enjoying the silence and peace... It's way too loud in the city," she said and kissed his lips again. "Are you sure that is really what you want?" he asked and she looked into his eyes. They were filled with love and she knew he was all she needed.

"I am sure," she said and he pulled her in for a sweet and tender kiss. Unlike the other this kiss meant way more to them. It showed both of them just how deep the love of the other is and both of them knew they would spend their life together... until the end.

"We need to go now," Jessica said after a while of silence. He sighed. He knew part of her wanted to stay but the other part was stronger. "Yeah... I'll get the car ready and you'll wait in here," he said and took their package.

He walked out of the hotel and packed up their car. "I'd like to check out," he said to the woman at the reception. "What is the name?" she asked annoyed. "Hutson.... Lenny Hutson," he said and the woman looked at him even more annoyed.

"That would make two hundret dollar," she said and he gave her the money. "We hope you had a nice visit and soon come back," she said and he could tell she had less fun doing her job than Jessica had going back.

He walked up the stairs and walked back down with Jessica. "Hey... You look like a lot like that one celibirty... Arghh I forgot her name," the same woman said and Jessica looked at her surprised.

"Jessica Lange? No, sweety. I am way older," she said and hurried up and out of the building. Leo helped her into the car, since her belly was making it hard for her to do so on her own. She often got out of breath and her body wasn't as young as the last time.

It was more stressful on her and he often feared it would be too much. Jessica knew her limits. She knew when to stop and sit down. She secretly feared that she wouldn't do it and die while giving birth but the wish to see her child kept her going.

"Sleep a bit..." Leo said and Jessica nodded. They headed off and Jessica soon fell asleep. Leo felt bad... real bad. He once again ripped her out of her family and friends and he knew she would be feeling miserable for the first few days.

"Leo?" Jessica asked out of nowhere. "Yeah, baby?" he asked and looked over at her. "Do you think I am too old?" she asked and he began to worry. What if she thought she was too old for him and would distance herself from him? He couldn't bare the thought of losing her.

"For what?" he asked and gripped the steering wheel tighter. "For having this baby," she said and stared out of the window. "You are not too old Jessica. I love you and we love this baby. You'll get through this and we'll hold our baby girl or baby boy in our hands soon enough. We'll finally be a family and everything will be just fine," he said and she smiled at him.

"As long as I am with you, everything is alright..." she said and he smiled back at her.
