A/n: So I accidentaly wrote that her birthday was in  two weeks but I meant it was in two months. I already corrected it but for those who already read now you know 😊.

2 months later

Jessica's birthday came sooner than ecpected. The time flew by and she was in month three of her pregnancy. She had a clearly visible belly and Christine didn't let her do anything at all. The day before her birthday Leo sat down on the couch and told her to sit down in his lap.

She did what she was told to do. The two of them grew closer over the past two months and Jessica did everything he asked her to do without even thinking about it. She trusted him blindly and he didn't hurt her anymore.

"So tomorrow is your birthday. What do you wanna do? You can choose everything you want." he said and kissed her forehead.

"Really everything?" she asked in disbelief. Even though they were pretty close, he didn't let her leave the house. She didn't smell fresh air for three months now and she longed to feel the fresh breeze of spring against her skin and see the trees turning green.

"Everything."  he said and smiled at his wife.

"Than I would like to visit my kids. I owe them an explanation why I was like dead for everybody. Of course I don't tell them the truth. I just want to know how they are feeling about me leaving so suddenly." she said and feared he would get angry but he just said "Ok then we will pack a few things together and start in an hour. We have a long drive in front of us and we will spent a night in your old house."

Jessica was happy. She would finally see her kids again. Would they be happy to see her? What would they say about her mother being pregnant again? What would they say about her disappearing without any sign if she is still alive?

They packed a few things together and he unlocked the door. She was so hapy to finally leave this damn house. She wanted to feel the cold evening air against her skin and longed to take a deep breath of fresh air.

They left a note for Aaron and Christine because they were already asleep and he opened the door. They stepped out of the house and Jessica saw for the first time the landscape around the house. It was in the middle of the woods and she could see a lake in the near of their house.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. The cold spring breeze brushed through her hair and she smiled. A few things changed like her hair color. Christine had dyed her hair because it was getting grey but she only had brown hair dye so her once blonde hair turned in a dark brown. She liked it. Her hair was healthier and she liked to color and how it made her look younger.

He brought the few things they wanted to take with them into the car and walked back to her.

"Hey we need to go or we won't make it to your house on time." he said and she just nodded. She didn't want to sit in the car for the next ten hours but at the end it would be worth it. She would see her kids again.

They sat down and he drove away from the house she spent some of the worst and some of the best hours of her life in. She looked out of the window and felt how she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Leo watched her from time to time and thought about how risky it was to go with her in public. Her kids would question her and maybe want that she stays but he knew it meant much to her to see her kids.

He decided that he wouldn't leave her side to protect her and the baby. In her age it isn't as easy as with the age of 20 to be pregnant. There are many risks and things to take care of but he would make sure that she will be just fine.

He would never let her die. He would rather give his life than hers. Even though he was an asshole in the past, he changed and truly loved and cared for her.

He stopped one time at a gas station and they drove just eight hours instead of ten. He pulled up the driveway of her house and looked over at the sleeping beauty beside him. He didn't want to wake her so he picked her up and carried her into the house. He locked the door behind him and gently placed her on her old bed. She moved around  a bit until she found a comfortable position but didn't wake up.

He decided to change her clothes because the clothes she wore were very uncomfortably and he didn't want her to have bruises the next day because the shirt was too tight around her arm or her pangs were too together around her belly. He went to her old closet where he left a few things and pulled out swetpants and a sports bra.

He pulled down her pants and soon after that somehow managed to put her sweatpants on. She didn't wake up and he continued with her shirt and bra. This was way  more complicated but he managed it witout waking her up. After he changed her clothes, he pulled his shirt over his head and pulled down his pants.

He covered her body with the sheets which weren't changed for months and laid down beside her. He pulled her close to his body and kissed shoulder before he drifted off to sleep with her in his arms and mind.

The next day Jessica was the first one to wake up and she smiled as she saw her all too familiar surroundings. She couldn't believe that she was back in her house. There was a lot more dust but she didn't care. It was her home for years and now she was finally back.

She looked around the room and saw the clothes she wore the day before hanging over a chair. She smiled and thought about how sweet it was from Leo to change heer into something more comfortable.

He was still asleep and that left her some time to think. To think about her children. She suddenly wasn't so sure if seeing them was such a good idea. She was away for months without a sign of life and now she would be back on screen just to disappear again one day later.

She made the descision to go and see them but without them knowing that she was there. She knew that they used to go to this one speial café on her birthday so she hoped they would be there this day too.

It would break her heart to see them again and knowing that she couldn't talk to them. But seeing them would be nice. She could try as hard as she wanted to but forgetting about them was just impossible.
