[Ash's POV]

The moment everything was over, we were taken back to Kalos. The reason being me crossing regions without any passport or permission. Fortunately Mr. Goodshow took care of that well. My Charizard was immediately taken to the hospital, his wounds were worse than any I've ever seen so we had to take him to Goldenrod city right there in Johto because of the limited time. I couldn't stay with him but I was told I could return back through the travel procedures after returning to Kalos. Honestly, I don't know if there was any other way or not but I didn't see any problem and I was assured by Goodshow himself so I was relieved.

In Kalos however, things were quite different. I was greeted by a huge amount of crowd at the airport. There were young as well as old trainers waiting for me. I was being escorted by army men. The trainers tried to break through to me, I felt like a celebrity returning home after a long time. But this was all new to me so I was feeling more uncomfortable than excited. I was still unsure if everyone appreciated me or the old rumors were revived again and the haters were back. Pikachu wasn't doing any better either, he never liked attention at all. And bow with this much commission all along our way, he had found comfort in his pokeball. I know, it's been ages since he entered his pokeball. Hilbert felt the same as me, he was never exposed to this much fame.

For the first time I was thankful, I chose to stay in a forest with wild pokemon roaming around. However, today there were more pokemon. I couldn't recognize the pokemon from anywhere nearby, but they didn't attack me while I walked through my path. They were probably deployed by the orders of Goodshow. Again, that man has helped me so much through all of this that I could never repay him. The area around the forest as well as the surrounding cities was under military surveillance for any person trying to get near my house.

As Hilbert and I neared my home, I spotted Serena's Braixen. She must have been on the lookout too. She came running and stopped in front of us. Before I could think of anything to say, Hilbert had already taken the cue of bringing out his Lucario. The moment he materialized on the ground Braixen had pounced on him and was hugging him close to her. I took the unexpected relationship unfold in front of my eyes as I turned to Hilbert with a confused look, to which he simply gestured "don't ask". I let go of the reason as we started heading back home with Braixen holding Lucario's paw with hers walking ahead of us.

When we reached home the door was opened by Serena, who immediately hugged me. After we parted I noticed Alexa and Goodshow in the living room along with some bodyguards of Goodshow. Alexa was a journalist whom I met during my travels in the Unova region. She was the only reporter who posted headlines in my favour when every other news company was against the whole accord of Ash Ketchum. She had kept in touch with me since then and reported information about my presence as a third person viewer. Honestly she treated me like her younger brother which of course I didn't mind at all.

Goodshow gave me a side hug as he could barely stand from his sitting position, he had grown quite old but still had the energy to run the whole Pokemon League. Alexa though, crushed me in a big sisterly hug which almost choked me to death. She was very worried about me when she saw the news. She made reservations to Kalos from Sinnoh as soon as she could.

Hilbert shook his hands with both of them, while I called out Pikachu who was very happy to see Alexa and her Helioptile. While they both played together we sat down around the small coffee table. Serena went to get us something to eat from the kitchen.

"Finally Ash, your identity has been revealed and it has created quite a commission across the world. What are you going to do about this now?" Mr. Goodshow started, I knew exactly where he was going. With my identity out in the open I can't enter the tournament as planned, now the world knew who I was and so did the ones whom I wanted my revenge on.

"I have been thinking about the situation along my way home but nothing clicked my mind, I was hoping if you could help me out." I replied. Goodshow went into thinking as we all stared at him.

"Maybe we could try this.. Hear me on his one." he said as he bent closer to us as we did the same. He whispered the plan softly so that only the four of use could hear. Serena was busy in the kitchen so she didn't hear what he said, but I doubt if she heard him she would even agree on that.

"As much as this sounds dangerous, looking at it from another angle it is the perfect idea." Alexa commented, If Alexa thought this was perfect then I wouldn't argue on it, but thinking how it could also go wrong and dangerous it was. I am worried about Serena's opinion.

"You probably keep it away from Serena. I'm sure she wouldn't ask into detail if you tell her that you're just participating as a normal contestant." Hilbert whispered. Alexa and Goodshow nodded at this.

I sighed, "I think so too. I hate to keep it from her but I need to do it for now" I said.

Having decided on what to do we sat back in our chairs just as Serena entered with snacks and coffee.

"So, what did you decide?" Serena asked as she took her position beside me on the couch. I gave a quick glance at Goodshow at which he just smiled softly.

"We decided that since my identity is revealed, I should just enter as a normal contestant, with my complete team of six on my profile." I replied. She looked a little confused at that.

"Then it would be an advantage for.. you know.. Them."

"Yeah, but thinking it this way, It's not really fair for other players who are just there for fun and enjoyment." I replied.

"Right.. Goodluck then." she laughed softly.

"Yup." I gave my tooth grin. Giving a quick glance at Goodshow and seeing him nod made me relax a bit. He seemed confident in his plan so I had nothing to worry about.

We ate the snacks and had a couple of chats until it was time for Goodshow to finally get back to his office. We bid our farewell as a small car stopped outside our house in which he departed.

Taking a heavy breath I turned back. "We should probably get our Pokemon at the Pokemon center." I said, Hilbert nodded with me.

"Yeah, but you should stay home. If you go out there now, you'll get swarmed." Alexa reminded and we literally froze thinking how bad it could be out there.

"Don't worry, Serena and I can get it done for you." She suggested and we agreed to that.

"But first.." I said as I took out the trainers' Pokemon that were given to me for assistance. I tossed them as every one emerged out and landed in front of us. As soon as they got out they bowed down to me just like they did when I called them at the battle field. I sweat dropped and asked them to stand up.

"Listen everyone, Serena and Alexa here will be taking you to the Pokemon center for treatment. I don't know where I can find your trainer so I am hoping you can find your trainers from the center. Is it correct?" I asked them and all of them nodded in reply. "Great then, now before you leave I have my thanks to you and your trainers both. You've been a great help. And as a thank I want to give you all something for your outstanding work." They all cheered up when I said this. I asked them to wait just for a bit as I went inside my house. The others were out as well and did not know what I was doing.

I went to my room and opened my closet. I spotted the small box sitting in the corner of the closet for ages now. I carefully picked it and opened the small clip-lock. It revealed a few old miniaturized pokeballs. I took them out and went back out. Everyone was waiting for me patiently.

"I'm back, I got these for you." I said as I showed the mini-pokeballs to them.

"What are these? Pokeballs?" Serena Asked. I nodded.

"These are my Pokemon's old pokeballs, the original ones. These were worn out because of usage so I had them upgraded to new pokeballs. I still kept them with me because of the engravings I made on them with my hand." I told them, they all looked at them with admiration.

"I give you these as a reward for your work, so quickly line up." I said as they all got in a straight line.

"First of the Tyrantrum, you were absolutely tough and quick even with your huge body. For that you get the Lycanroc's pokeball." I tied the band of the mini-ball to his wrist.

"Next is Haxorous, Your blades were as sharp as my sceptile, For that you get Sceptile's pokeball."

"Then Garchomp, you didn't hesitate to make those strong ground moves even when you had doubts about the damage to me. For that you get Torterra's pokeball."

"Next is Salamence, Even with that bulky body you were agile and crushed every enemy in front of you. For that you get Snorlax' pokeball."

"And Tyranitar, Your brute tank-like strength was amazing, you pack a hell of a punch in those arms of yours. For that you get Infernape's pokeball."

"Then Dragonite, your lightning fast attacks were incredibly fast, I doubt there are many pokemon who can match that speed. For that you get Pikachu's Pokeball."

"And at last Blaziken, You showed me the bravery that reminded me of my strongest pokemon, and I know exactly why that is, I'm sure you know what I want to say. With the training your trainer has given to you, You can one day become as strong as my Charizard. For that you get Charizard's pokeball."

All of them bowed down to me once again. "Now go to your trainers and show them your bravery badge." I returned them to their pokeballs and handed them to Serena, Hilbert took out his pokeballs as I did mine and gave them to Alexa and Her. They made their way towards the Pokemon center as we stood there looking at their figure disappear into the forest.

"Let's get inside, I'm tired as hell." I said taking a long stretch.

"Yeah, you're right." he replied.

I clenched the last pokeball in my hand tightly as I turned around, Unfortunately Hilbert noticed it.

"Whose pokeball is that?" He asked as we walked to the door.

I smiled at Him as I held the door as he entered, walking behind I closed the door shut as I replied.

"This one is Pidgeot's."

Hey there, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I am really sorry for not updating the book for a long time now. My studies have started so I couldn't get time to write, I had initially planned to update only after new years, but I have been getting requests from you guys asking for update so I thought on it and realised if I can't update when my studies are less, How can I do it when my studies will increase later on. So I made a new decision where I will start posting weekly alternate story just like earlier. from today. Every weekend there will be updates for ASKOL and PA alternatively.
