“Aghhhh!” I heard a loud yell, when I was going towards my locker. I already know who this is, he is the biggest disgrace to our beautiful school. He doesn't participate in any activity or in any battle. He can't even stand up for himself when he is bullied by the students. He is such a weakling scaredy cat. His name is Ash Ketchum, and I swear I haven't met any person worse than him in my life.

By the way it would be rude to not tell about myself, so I'm Serena Yvonne, I'm 16 years old, I live in Vanville town in Kalos region. I study in Lumiose academy which is in Lumiose City, not far from my home, I go there by bus of course. And I'm not here to brag about myself but people often say I'm smart, intelligent and beautiful. Well what they say isn't a lie, I'm am the most perfect student of my class. And I like performing in showcases with my Pokemons. People are amused by my beauty when I'm on stage. I'm not much of a battle type though. My friend circle consists of my best friend, Dawn, then there's May and Shauna. In boys I have Tierno, Gary, Alain and the most closest of them all is Calem. Well my group of friends is bigger than I told but these are the only ones that are friends with me, others are just classmates or friend of my friends. About Calem, well we both live in Vanville town since childhood. We had spent most of our time together since then. He is a good guy smart and handsome, but sometimes here very violent. We're not yet a couple but close friends.

Right now it's 7:27 and I'm in my school and the first class is not starting until 8:00, so I have plenty of time to reach to the room and talk with my friends. When I reached the corner of the hallway to reach my locker. I saw some students gathered around Ash or “the outcast” as the students call him. They were giving him a lesson for such a disgrace. I walk to them to see how is it going. “Hey boys!” I greeted, they all turned around to see me, “hey Serena!” they all said simultaneously. There were Calem, Gary and Paul. I stood near Calem and put my hand over his shoulder and peeked over him to see how was the outcast.

There he lied on the floor with bruises and cuts on his body, blood leaking out and his faithful partner Pikachu standing near him not even attempting to protect his master. But it wasn't his fault, Ash had always told him not to attack human until they hurt them. So even if he wanted to save his trainer he couldn't deny his orders.

“I think it's enough for him for today, we don't want to be late for call, do we?” I said, Calem looked at me and smiled. “Yeah, you're right. Let's go guys.” He said, then we all left for the class leaving him on the floor in the hallway.

The first period was great I was in literature with Dawn and Shauna. But the most dreading class of the whole day is the second and third periods. Because in those classes my seatmate is none other than the outcast.

He's so poor that he used pencils fitted with pen caps on the backside. He didn't have lunch money, always brings two slices of bread for himself and some food for his Pikachu. Although he is more than average in studies, but who counts that when you don't give a good first impression. His clothes are worn out and have patches on them.

While I was in the second class, the maths class. I noticed yet another thing from the outcast. For the first time in the history, I saw the pokeballs in his bag. One must be of his tardy Pikachu, so whose are others. And why did he bring them to school today of all days. Then it came to me… yesterday he was challenge by Alain to do a six on six pokemon battle in the battle class, which is next.

He's going to lose to Alain for several reasons, first of all he didn't bring six Pokemons, second Alain is the school champion, so his chances of beating him are flat 0.1%. and many more than I can describe.

The maths class went alright. But the next class is going to be great, because Ash is going to do a Pokemon battle for the first time and also lose it as well. There isn't going to be any surprises.

Right after the class was over I ran up to gym, because professor sycamore does not like students being late for the class.

When everyone was ready, professor walked up to the referee's position and initiated the battle. “Alright, the 6 on 6 battle between Ash and Alain is going to start. Trainers please get in your positions.” Both Ash and Alain walked up to the two corners of the battle field. There was a cheerful applause for Alain while a series of BOOOs for the outcast.

“Alright everyone calm down and watch the battle.” The professor said. “Now, before we begin the battle would you like to place a bet?” He asked, at this the students seemed more eager.

“If I lose to that filthy trainer, I'm going to abandon my title as the school champion.” Alain yelled. Everyone was staring at him in disbelief as if they didn't trust in his Pokemon. “uhmm.. I'll.. I'll leave the school if I lose.” Ash spoke and was followed by a fit of laughter. Someone in the audience spoke, “you better leave the school before your disgusting Pokemon even touch Alain's Pokemon!”

“Alright, alright, calm down everyone. And trainers please call out your first Pokemon.” Alain took one of his pokeball and threw it towards the field. “Come out, Weavile!” He yelled. A bipedal, dark green Pokemon with sharp claws was emerged from the pokeball.

Ash on the other hand just motioned for his Pikachu to go. Pikachu willingly jumped off his shoulder and landed on the ground, he gave out a large yawn and stretched his body before running to the battle field. “Such a lazy Pokemon.” I heard Calem mutter under his breath. I giggled at this.

“This will be a six on six battle between the school champion Alain and the challenged trainer Ash. The winner of the battle shall be crown as the new School champion. There will be no substitutions allowed. Is that clear?” Professor spoke, both the trainers nodded. “Then begin the BATTLE!”

“Weavile use METAL CLAWS.” Alain was the first to call his attack. Weavile instinctively started running towards Pikachu with glowing silver claws. PIKACHU on the other hand just sat there idle. When Weavile was at a small distant range Ash whispered to Pikachu. “IRON TAIL.” In a split second Pikachu swung his tail and slammed it on Weavile sending him across the field, through the audience seats and onto the wall of the gym. There lied Alain's Weavile with swirly eyes. Everyone was surprised by this, no one expected such strong attack from Pikachu. When we looked back we saw Pikachu scratching his ears with his feet. I heard someone on the crowd yell, “HOLY SHIT! That's strong.”

“Weavile is unable to battle, Alain call out your next Pokemon.” Professor said. “Alright you might have defeated my Weavile but you won't defeat my Bisharp.” He Yelled and threw his pokeball. A large Pokemon with sword arms materialized on the battle field.

“Begin!” “Bisharp use ROCK TOMB.” Alain commanded. Bisharp let out a cry and rocks appeared around him before falling towards Pikachu. Again Ash called his attack at the last second. “Climb it.” Pikachu used his tail to hit the rocks and climb on them. When he was at the top Ash said another attack, “THUNDER BOLT.” Pikachu released a strong wave of electricity straight at Bisharp which knocked him immediately. After that Pikachu returned back to his original position. While we were left staring at the battle field. Alain was down to for Pokemons while Ash still had his full team.

“Bisharp is unable to battle. Alain call your next Pokemon.” “Ughh.. Unfezant come out.” Alain called his bird like Pokemon on the field. This time Ash called his attack first. “Pikachu get close and use short ranged THUNDER BOLT.” Alain's eyes widened, flying toes are weak against electric types. But before he could react Pikachu had already got close too Unfezant and released his attack. A cloud was formed for the blast. When it cleared out an unconscious Unfezant and a smirking Pikachu was discovered.

At this point Alain was mad beyond anything. He called his next Pokemon, Tyranitar. “Tyranitar use EARTHQUAKE and FIRE BLAST.” Tyranitar slammed his feet in the ground causing an earthquake. He was charging up his fire attack when Ash called his attacks. “Pikachu IRON TAIL and THUNDERBOLT.” Pikachu hot his glowing tail on the ground which caused the earthquake to neutralize. This caused Tyranitar to get distracted, Pikachu then released his beloved thunder attack at tyranitar and got him head on. A large explosion was caused and then a paralyzed fainted Tyranitar was revealed.”

At this point no one was cheering for anyone. No one looked Ash and Alain was losing big time so there was no point in cheering although, Alain's best friends were still motivating him to battle.

Next alain called his Metagross. “Metagross use BULLET PUNCH.” Alain yelled, Metagross levitated towards pikachu with four glowing claws. “IRON TAIL as defense and use a high resistant THUNDER BOLT when you get a chance.” Pikachu's tail glowed and he dashed towards Metagross. Metagross was punching at Pikachu at inhuman speed but Pikachu was blocking every punch with his tail. It was so fast that we couldn't follow their movements. Metagross was using all four of his arms to punch Pikachu but Pikachu was easily blocking all the punches with just his tail. Then there was one certain point when Pikachu was right in front of Metagross and he used the electric attack but it wasn't any ordinary THUNDERBOLT. It was glowing red like fire. Then it hit me, Pikachu increased the resistivity so much that it turned into heat and heat is not good for steel types. The attack was super effective and knocked out Metagross.

“Aaggh.. Metagross, NOO!” Alain yelled in frustration. “Metagross is unable to battle. Alain call your next Pokemon.” Alain took out another pokeball and stared at it before throwing it to the battle field.

The pokeball erupted and a large bipedal orange dragon like Pokemon appeared on the battle field. It gave out a large roar of anger to show it's power. This was Alain's ace, his Charizard.

“Begin.” “Charizard MEGA EVOLVE!” Alain yelled and pressed his keystone on his bracelet. The mega stone on Charizard's chest glowed and connected with the keystone, soon Charizard was engulfed in white light which later revealed a black Charizard. The Mega Charizard X form.

“Charizard use BLAST BURN and DRAGON CLAW.” Alain yelled at full volume. Ash just calmly said, “VOLT TACKLE and IRON TAIL.” Charizard was engulfed in blue flames and his claws glowed bright green, he flew towards Pikachu at full speed. On the other hand Pikachu was surrounded by electricity and his tail was glowing bright silver.

Both Pokemons were charging at each other at full speed. Both covered in flame and electricity. When the distance between the two was just a few feet… “Pikachu jump up and switch IRON TAIL with SWEET KISS.” Pikachu quickly jumped up on Charizard, who was surprised by the change in attack. Alain was surprised as well. Pikachu landed over Charizard's head and kissed his forehead with sweetness. This caused Charizard to lose his balance as it was a super effective attack. He crashed on the ground while Pikachu hopped back to his position in front of Ash. Seconds later Charizard was back to his feet, of course it is no easy task to defeat a high level mega evolved Pokemon.

Poach got into another battle stance and Charizard too stood straight ready to attack at his trainer's command. Both Pokemons were tired as hell but Pikachu looked more tired, he had already battled five Pokemons.

“Pikachu let's try our final move before you're wear out.” Ash said as he pressed his bracelet, it wasn't any keystone, but a something else. He and pikachu both formed. Z with their hands and lightning was shot from Ash to Pikachu as if he was transferring Energy to Pikachu. “Charizard use STONE EDGE.” Alain commanded, Charizard roared and slammed his fists on the ground causing large rocks to emerge from the ground and proceed in Pikachu's direction. It would have been a super effective attack if… “PIKACHU CATASTROPIKA FULL POWER!” Ash yelled so loud it could have deafened everyone.

Pikachu was surrounded in electricity just like VOLT TACKLE but with more charge. He burst into a super Sonic speed and dashed through the advancing STONE EDGE. The rocks got blown by his power and Pikachu collided with Charizard sending him flying into the wall behind. Pikachu stopped right before Alain's podium. Charizard was revealed to be fainted when the dust formed by the collision settled down. The crowd was so taken back by Ash that no one dared to speak one word.

Alain collapsed on his knees as he started at Charizard's body. Poach was still near the podium, breathing heavily. Ash was staring at the field without blinking. And the crowd was silent as hell. All until… “Cha-charizard is unable to battle. So the winner of the battle is Pikachu making Ash the Victor.” The referee announced, after that the crowd went so wild that it could have disturbed the whole school. Fortunately the gyms were made sound proof so that the attacks could not be heard outside.

“As per the bets Ash is now crowned as-” “I don't want it.” Ash cut the referee off. “Huh?” “I don't want to be the school champion…. Instead I would like to have some friends.” Ash walked up to Alain who was still looking down from the lose. “So, I would like to ask you Alain. Would you like to be my friend?” Ash's voice for some reason sounded sad. Alain stared at the hand provided by Ash, then he snapped. “I would rather get dumped by my friends than being friends with you moron.” He slapped Ash's hand away. Ash just smiled back and said, “well nice meeting you and thanks for a good battle. I haven't felt so good in a long time.” He turned back and started walking to his seat, which was at the distant corner of the gym. Pikachu hopped in his shoulder and licked his cheeks.

And for the first time ever I thought it was cute, but then I shook my head and reminded myself that why I hate the outcast.

Hey, I finally published the first chapter of the new story. I hope you like it. I know I said Ash didn't battle but the first chapter itself had a battle. Sorry for any spelling mistake, the auto spell may have changed PIKACHU's name to POACH😂. I corrected a few but maybe there are some left, so sorry for that.

And most importantly, amourshippers please hold your buses right with you. Because you may need it for the future. 😋
