Page 2: Invitation - Korowai

Dear Guest,

You've been invited to a party where you will meet other individuals such as yourself. You will go under the codename Korowai so no one will know exactly who you are and for safety precautions.

Seeing your busy schedule and there's a chance you might not attend such an event so for motivation we know you're currently stuck in the state and your passport needs to be renewed meaning you have nowhere to run, too bad you get stuck in one of a many states where consumption of another human being is not legal whether dead or alive.

You only have one more strike until you get the death penalty.

See you there!

"Call the cops!? They got me fucked up if they think I'm just going to let them rat me out if I don't go to their dumb party!"

She angrily stuffed her bag with tears in her eyes as the idea of going back to jail.

"Not me!"

She sat back down on the bloody motel bed pouting. Her suitcase was wide open as she pulled the note back out of her pocket and reread it.

Korowai... What a stupid code name. She thought. I don't even know what that means...

Realizing how utterly screwed she was in the situation Korowai finished packing and closed her suitcase, leaving the motel and quickly getting into her meal's car driving away.

She moved down the road wiping the tears from her eyes.

"It's not fair!"

--

After angrily and quietly walking up to the door she was greeted with a butler in a masquerade mask.

"Welcome, Korowai. Allow me to show you to the room"

"..Whatever..."

Following the masked stranger up the stairs when they were face-to-face with the door she was quickly shoved in and it locked behind her.

Surprised a moment she was met with the floor she turned around enraged. She proceeded to bang on the door.

"For the love of god! Stop!"

She looked back and saw a woman in the room with her smoking a cigarette from a fancy-looking holder. She looked stressed.

Korowai glared at the women but stopped nonetheless deciding to throw a silent tantrum in the corner away from her.

The women went back to stress smoking and the room was silent aside from the occasional sniffle from Korowai.

What did she do to deserve this? It's not her fault she was born with a taste of meat that just happened to be a little too expensive to get.

Time such as this where Korowai is on the verge of getting caught made her think that if she was just a little bit richer, would she still be in the same situation?
