She watched as they applied 90 dollar Christian Louboutin lipstick and 70 dollar Sisley-Pairs eyeliner with a matching thick coat of 72 dollar Chantecallie mascara and painting her nails a color called The Noirs by Louboutin as well that cost 50 dollars.

Once her face and nails looked the part her hair was styled , her bangs to the side and a trail of braids making one larger braid that laid on her head that had the rest of it flowing up.

Getting dressed was tricky... she had to maneuver herself into her bra and such then her dress without ruining their hard work.

A bra that costed 285 dollars by La Perla with a lacy cup and panties by the same brand for 238.

She wore a dark black formal dress , Gwen said she should have bought someone more risky , show some more leg and cleavage but she was sticking to her comfort zone .

She walked out of the room and then met him in the living room. "You look stunning" he said with a slight smile as he slipped his phone in his pocket.

"Gwen took the 7,000 dollar thing to heart... I mean , my shoes alone cost 1,190.." which was true , they were a heeled shoe about four inches and were made in Italy . The silver trimming lined the heel and pushed her up a handful of inches by Oscar De La Rente

"Good ... money well spent... how much was the dress ?" He asked .

"Did you get a bag as well ?" Kylo wondered as he straightened his tie .

"Yeah... Jimmy Choo for 750" she told him "and I have earrings too... Are you ready?" She asked .

"Yes ... let's go ... we have to be there for the red carpet then the photos and some interviews ... how much did you spend ? "

"7,642 with the earrings ...What if people ask what we are ?"She wondered fiddling with her bag.

She opened it and inside was a scorpion necklace . "This is really pretty" she said .

"I'm a Scorpio... I have them all over ... even my suit lapels are scorpions..." he motioned and she nodded , fastening it on her neck .

When they reached the event he stepped out first then helped her . A hoard of cameras began to flash at her .

The blinking light was a tad bit much , she felt like she would fall in her heels but she knew that he wouldn't let that happen , so she comfortably leaned into his hand .

People were shouting asking what she was wearing . She just had a small smile throughout it.

His hand was wrapped around her waist as they took photos and walked the red carpet . She saw a handful of celebrities she used to have tacked up as posters in her teenage bedroom.

The gala event was fairly nice ... raising money to help fund school science and computer education. Which made her smile due to her engineering degree .

She excused herself from their table and walked to the bathroom .

"She looks good in that dress ... I'm glad I picked it out" Gwen said taking a sip of her champagne.

"Thank you Gwen" Kylo added taking his own swig.

"So she has a child ?" Hux asked his hand holding his wife's .

"Yes .. his name is Benjamin, named after her father apparently... rather cute kid , dark hair ... he really well behaved but she's a helicopter over him ... I'm sure she calling the sitter right now" Kylo told them.

Hux chuckled to himself "sounds like a married man worrying about his wife fussing over the babysitter ... speaking of which" he looked at Gwen .

"I haven't even called Sonia yet !" She defended herself .
