I get in the ring and face Joe. The bell rings and it's game time. I bounce around a little keeping him moving while I keep my distance until he charges me. I side step him and he goes into the corner where I run and knee him in the head like CM Punk. I gets out of the corner and we trade a few blows until he sends me running towards the ropes which I bounce off of and dodge his clothes line and spear him to the mat. I look around the stadium for a second taking in the cheers. Just as I come back I feel a hand land on my jaw sending me back and a hard kick to the stomach. He sends me into the corner and clotheslines me shaking me up. He does for another but I lift my boot sending him back and I got to the top buckle. He punches me and grabs me and hits the muscle buster. He covers me.
"1......2......thr-" I kick out last minute to the shock of the crowd and Joe. He stands up and catches his breath for a second allowing me just enough to kick the back of his leg bringing him to his knee and set up the super kick. As he turns around I hit sending him back into the corner. He stumbles forward and I lift him and hit the Go To Sleep and mockingly do the go to sleep pose knowing punk is in the crowd. I cover him after and get the three count.
"Here is your new NXT champion Logan Cass!" The ref hands me the belt and lift my arm above our heads as I smile looking at the crowd.
'I did it mom I told you I could.' tears start to slip my eyes and I look at the crowd thinking of my mom. I walk back stage and I'm met with Triple H giving me a hard handshake.
"Good job kid, you keep that up and you'll be in the big leagues soon enough." He smiles at me and pats my shoulder.
__5 months later__
"Hey kid you ready?" I look at Hunter as he places his hand on my shoulder looking at the entrance to the gorilla. I sigh and shake my head some.
"Honestly not really this has been a dream come true. Being on nxt it self was a huge dream of mine but being a defending champion it's insane."
"I know whatcha mean but you have been one of the best since we started this even Shawn has admitted that after tonight you will make a huge splash on the main roster. So dont worry kid you got this now go put on a show."
"Thank you Hunter." He smiles and I walk out to my theme with the belt firmly around my waist and as I reach the beginning of the ramp I point to and turn around showing the back of my shirt 'a storm is coming' I get into the ring and prepare for what will be a very emotional match between me and Shinsuke where I'd be dropping my title. After a long hard fight he hits me with a desperate clothesline and covers me for the 3 count. As he makes his way up the ramp I lay there smiling. The crowd chanting 'thank you Logan!'. As I sit up they start to clap until I reach the curtain and wave goodbye and make my way to my truck outside. 'Thank you NXT for the memories but it's time for an upgrade.'
