Amora was now awake and was standing beside Eda and King outside of the Conformatorium, she still had a fearful expression on her face before she noticed the wanted poster of Eda and King on the wall behind them, she then grabbed the poster to take a closer look at it.

Amora: Oh my... They really want to get you guys.

Eda: ( with a smile: ) Yep. But we were never caught because we're so slippery.

Amora flinched slightly as King climbed onto the top of her head.

King: Try to catch me when I'm covered in grease. I'm a squirmy little fella.

King then fell off of the human girl's head, and she quickly caught him before he could hit the ground and gently placed him down on his feet.

King: ( to Amora: ) Thanks. You and I will sneak up to the top of the tower, where they're holding my crown.

Eda: And I'm gonna make sure the warden's distracted.

Amora was now shaking in fear slightly, both Eda and King looked at her with worried looks.

Eda: You should probably have something to defend yourself just in case...

Eda then reached her hand into her hair and pulled out a scary looking dagger, she then hands it to Amora, who looks at it with shock before she looked up at King and Eda. King gave her a thumbs up as an attempt to calm her nerves.

Eda: You know how to use a dagger, right?

Amora: Um, I-

Eda: Ah, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Eda taps the butt of her staff against the ground, creating a round glowing platform on the ground beneath them, she then steps away from it.

Eda: Hang on tight.

Amora made a startled squeak and she dropped the dagger as the platform began rising, floating all the way up to a window in the tower. It then suddenly disappears, forcing Amora to grab the edge of the window sill and King clung onto her foot and had caught the dagger. Meanwhile, Eda tossed her staff and casually sits down on it as it rises.

Eda: ( to Amora and King as she passes them: ) Meet you guys at the top of the tower.

King grunts as he climbs up Amora and into the window. Amora whined out of fear as she to pull herself up and into the window, she fell onto her back. Once she stood herself up, King climbed onto her shoulders, and puts the dagger in the front pocket of Amora's backpack.

King: There, now you won't lose it.

King stayed on her shoulder as he and Amora looked at the amount of prison cells before them, all of them occupied by shadowy beasts of varying shapes and size, Amora made a silent fearful squeak as all of their eyes wereing glowing in the light. Amora then flinched when she heard a voice coming from the cell next to her.

???: Hey, Blondie, how'd you get out of your cell?

Amora turned to see what looked like a vampire girl in the cell, and she backed away slightly with nervous expression.

Amora: Oh, no, no. I'm not a criminal...

King: ( to Amora: ) Not yet, you're not.

Vampire girl: Neither are we. The stupid warden likes to lock people up who don't fit in.

Amora's nervousness quickly went away and she then looked at the vampire girl with concern as she listened to her.

Vampire girl: Like, I write fanfics of food falling in love. ( She pulls out a book of said fanfiction. ) I like food, I like love... Just let me write about it.

Amora then turned to a monster with multiple eyes when he started to speak.

Eye-eating Monster: I'm here because I like eating my own eyes.

The monster then plucks one of his eyes out of his head as he said this, then swallowed it and the eye then floats back in its place. Amora then turned to a small creature that had a big nose with slight confusion when she heard her speak in a loud voice.

Small creature: We are agents of fwee expwession! They will never siwence us!

Vampire girl: ( to Amora: ) Yeah, she's really big into conspiracy theories.

Small creature: The world is a simulation! We are but playthings for a higher being!

Amora: Wait, none of those are actual crimes though. He just locked you up for just being yourselves?

Suddenly, their attention was attracted to a loud thudding sound of footsteps heading their way, causing Amora's fear to return instantly.

Vampire girl: It Warden Wrath! Hide!

Amora quickly grabbed King and ran into an open cell and pulled the door down as she entered. She then sat in the back corner of the cell and held King close, she began to shake in fear when she heard the sound of a door being pushed open. King glanced at the human girl with slight concern before he became scared as well when they heard the warden's voice.

Warden Wrath: I can hear you.

Amora whimpers in response and hugged King a bit tighter as the Warden walked into their line of view, but he didn't notice them.

Warden Wrath: Just what are you fools whispering about?

The warden then looks down and saw the wanted poster that Amora had accidentally dropped when she ran into the cell.

Warden Wrath: Ah. The Owl Lady.

The warden then picked the poster up and he crumbled it up before turning his fist into a hammer and slamming it into the door of Amora and King's cell.

Warden Wrath: I'll get my hands on her soon enough.

Amora had a fearful expression on her face while she and King were huddled in the corner as Warden Wrath looked into their cell. She then closed her eyes by instinct as she waited for something to happen, until...

Small creature: Fight against the oppwessor! We will wesist! We will conquer! ( To Wrath: ) We will never be afwaid of you, you old creep!

Amora then slowly opened her eyes to Warden Wrath walk away from her cell and to the small creature's cell and opened it.

Small Creature: Hooway! I'm fwee!

She then squeaks when Warden Wrath grabs her, his fist fitting around her entire body. Amora and King watched as the warden held the creature up as he points at the other two prisoners.

Warden Wrath: Let this be a lesson to all of you. There's no place in society for you if you can't fit in.

Amora watched worryingly as Warden Wrath stomps away, crushing the crumpled up wanted poster on his way out. Amora got up and opened the cell door after she heard a door slam shut. King followed her as she went straight to the vampire girl's cell and tried to open it.

Amora: Hold on. I'll get you out.

Amora tried to lift the lever up, but it wouldn't budge.

Amora: ( sadly: ) Oh, fudge cake. It won't budge.

Vampire girl: Just get out of here while you still can, kid. Enjoy freedom for us.

Amora watched in sadness as the vampire girl walked deeper in her cell, she was about to say something until King tugged on her sweater, gaining her attention.

King: Come on, we need to get my crown back.

Amora reluctantly walked away and followed King out of the cell area, into a hallway where Eda flew to them with a smile as she hopped off her staff.

Eda: Hey, I just checked. The warden is distracted, tormenting some tiny creature. He won't be coming around here anytime soon.

Amora just continued walking without saying a single word, causing Eda to watch her in confusion. The trio then reached a tower door that read " CONTRABAND".

King: My crown! It's close! I can sense its power!

King runs up to the door and fiddle with the doorknob, as it was as big as he is.

Eda: ( to Amora: ) Aw, he gets so cute when he's thirsty for power.

Eda gave Amora a look of confusion as the human girl didn't say anything in response, she only wore a sad look on her face.

Eda: What's eating ya, kid?

Amora: Oh, um, it's just.... It's just not fair that the warden locks people up for just being themselves. Why do people judge each other all the time and act so harshly when someone is different from everyone else by calling us rude names like " weirdo "?

King grunts, Amora and Eda then turned their attention back to the door as the doorknob is thrown to the ground with a clink. King then pushed the door open, cackling as he runs through it.

Eda: Come on, before he hurts himself.

They then heard a zap sound and heard King say " ow! ". Amora and Eda then went through the door after King, and Amora eyes widened immediately when she saw the giant glowing pillar in the middle of the room.

Amora: ( silently: ) Oh my...

King rubs his skull before charging at the pillar headfirst, succeeding only in launching himself backwards.

Eda: ( to King: ) We have a human, remember?

King: Oh, yeah.

Amora gulped in response before she hesitantly puts a hand against the pillar before she walked through it. Inside were piles of all kinds of objects, everything from books to skulls to even a dead fish in a tank. She then sees something on top of the center pile.

Amora: Is that...?

( A few seconds later )

Amora was now out of the pillar and was holding a Burger Queen paper crown, she was holding in a laugh as she looked at it.

King: ( overjoyed: ) My crown!

King then jumped in place before he took the crown from Amora and placed it on his head.

King: Yes. Yes! I can feel my powers returning!

King then turns and points at a stuffed rabbit with one button eye, falling out of a box.

King: You, there. Nightmare critter. I shall call you Francois, ( picks up the rabbit ) and you shall be a minion in my army of darkness. Ha-ha!

Amora: ( to Eda: ) That crown doesn't give him any powers, does it?

Eda: Uh, no.

After a few seconds of silence, Eda sighs before she spoke.

Eda: Oh, look at us, Amora. King and I don't have much in this world. We only have each other. So if that dumb crown is important to him, it's important to me. And besides, us weirdos have to stick together, you know?

Amora smiles softly and nods her head in response with a slight blush.

Eda: Well, welcome to the family, kid. Now, let's get out of here before the warden finds us and loses his head.

Amora's eyes then widened in terror as she saw Warden Wrath and a few of his guards appear behind Eda, making the human girl let out a tiny squeak of fright.

Warden Wrath: Too late.

The warden's hand then turns into a blade, and with an easy swing, he decapitates Eda, making Amora let out a horrified squeak as she caught Eda's head, which had her tongue sticking out like a bad fake corpse.

Eda: Ow! Oh, I hate it when that happens.

Amora: ( worried: ) Eda! Are you okay, and how in a butterfly's name are you so calm about this?

Eda: Yeah. This just happens when you get older.

Amora: ( a bit pleadingly: ) Please telling me that you're joking, because I'm doing my best not to faint right now.

Warden Wrath: Finally, ( turns his hand back to normal ) I have you cornered, Eda the Owl Lady.

Warden Wrath then takes King's crown as he walks closer to Amora and Eda. King followed the warden with his arms up and reaching for his crown.

Warden Wrath: ( to Eda: ) My guards could never get you, but I knew if I took your pet's toy, you'd come running.

The warden then crumpled the crown in his hand, making King sad and Amora glared at the warden slight in response to his actions.

King: No! My power!

Eda: ( to Warden Wrath: ) What do you want with me? I've never actually broken any of your stupid laws...in front of you.

Warden Wrath: I want you...

The warden then pulled out a bouquet of flowers and went down on one knee, causing Amora to look at him with complete confusion.

Warden Wrath: to go out with me.

Eda: Wha...?

Amora: ( with slight disgust: ) What in the name of the sun?

One of the guards: Go, boss!

The warden gave his guards a thumbs up before turning back to Eda.

Warden Wrath: ( to Eda: ) You've always eluded our capture. You've always been the one who got away. I found that alluring.

Amora: ( quietly, but they still heard her: ) This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

Warden Wrath: ( angrily, to Amora: ) You stay out of this!

Warden Wrath then tossed the bouquet over his shoulder, and turned his now free hand into tentacles to grab Amora and hold her above the ground. Amora was struggling to free herself from the warden's grasps as he picked up Eda's head by her hair.

Warden Wrath: ( to Eda: ) So how about it, Owl Lady? The most powerful witch in the Boiling Isles and the feared Warden Wrath. We'd be the strongest power couple ever. I mean, it's-it's not like you can say no right now.

Eda looks up at Amora, and she saw that the girl's expression was filled with fear as she struggles to free herself from the warden's grasps. Eda then looked to King, who gets picked up by one of the guards and he struggled for freedom as well.

Eda: ( sighs ) All right, Warden. You win. I'd just like to say something first. Come closer. No. Just come a little bit closer. Just... Yeah, that's good. ( Blows a raspberry )

Warden Wrath yelled out in response and dropped Amora, who silently screamed as she hits the ground. Amora slowly got back up on her feet while Wrath wiped the spit off his mask as Eda laughed.

Warden Wrath: ( to Eda: ) Impudent wench! Don't you know how many germs are in your mouth? Blegh!

Eda: Get over it. You had your guards stalk me, and then you cut off my head. I am not going out with you.

Warden Wrath: If you don't accept, then I have no choice but to des-

Amora then appears and hits the warden in the head with Eda's staff, and Amora catches Eda's head before it could hit the ground. He falls to the ground with a loud crash.

Eda: ( chuckles ) Nice. Good work, kid.

Amora: ( panicked: ) Oh my goodness! I'm so, so sorry! Did I kill him?

The two guards then stepped closer to Amora, making the human to look at them with fear and causing Eda to glare at them as her body walks up behind them and pulled their hoods over their eyes. Amora then quickly ran towards Eda's body as she frees King from the guard's grasp, and Amora grabs her by the waist and they all quickly go on Eda's staff, the owl on the top of the staff unfurled its wings and hoots.

Amora: ( panicked, to the staff: ) Fly, please? Pretty please before the scary warden hurts us?!

They hear the warden grunt as he gets back up from the ground.

Eda: Gun it, magic stick!

The staff then takes off, and Amora held on for dear life as they began flying past the prison cells. She then had an idea when she saw the lever to the vampire girl's cell, before she started to panic when she saw that the warden was hot in his pursuit behind them.

Amora: Eda, lend me a hand, please?

Eda placed her hand against Amora's. They then opened the cells of the prisoners Amora and King met earlier, and all three prisoners had excited faces on, making Amora smile slightly. Amora then let out a silent scream as they burst through an outer door high in the center of the Conformatorium, before they began to plummet, causing Amora's screaming to grow a bit louder. Warden Wrath exits right behind them, front flipping off a pillar. The staff and the warden fall towards the ground, and Warden Wrath then extends one of his tentacles and hit the very back of the staff, launching the trio off of it. All three of them rolled when they hit the ground, Amora hissed in pain as the ground had hit one of the many bruises on her arms that were hidden under her sweater's sleeves, and she backs away in fear as Warden Wrath steps in front of her, Eda, and King, his hand shifting into a blade.

King: Ow, my bones!

Eda quickly reattached her head and as soon she saw the fearful look on Amora's face, she quickly felt the need to have Amora get to safety.

Eda: ( to Amora: ) Amora, go back to the house and stay there until we get there.

Eda then turns and runs at Warden Wrath, Amora looks at her and King with a worried expression.

Amora: ( to Eda and King, worried: ) What about you?

King: ( stands up, and to Amora as he runs to join Eda: ) If you think this guy is bad, you shoulda seen her last boyfriend!

Eda: Not my boyfriend.

Eda then grabbed King and jumped back towards Amora, avoiding Wrath's blade-hands when he tried to attack them.

Eda: ( to Amora: ) Go! Go!

Eda then puts Amora onto her staff and she slapped the bottom of the staff before Amora could say anything in response, sending it into the air as Amora screamed silently out of fright. She then watched with worry as Eda and the warden began fighting each other. She then whimpers as she tries to not fall off the staff when Wrath slammed into the wall of the Conformatorium. She then saw the three prisoners she'd freed peeking out of the hole Wrath left in the wall before he brandished his blade-hands and ran at Eda again. Amora then carefully flew down to the three prisoners with a confused and worried expression.

Amora: ( to the three prisoners: ) What are you still doing here? This is your chance to escape!

Eye-eating Monster: The warden'll catch us. He always does.

Vampire girl: We belong here.

Small creature: Self-doubt is a pwison you can never escape fwom.

As the prisoners muttered in agreement, Amora was silent for a few seconds, as their words reminded her how she felt when she thought about trying to escape her father's grasps in the human realm, which caused a side of her to come out, a side that she didn't even know that she had.

Amora: Listen, I know that the idea of escape seems hopeless, trust I've been there. In a way, I was trapped in a prison that was watched over by someone that was supposed to care for and accept me, but... I was give a chance to escape and look at me now. I'm free, even if it doesn't feel like I am yet. So, you shouldn't just let that big meanie lock you up for being different, sure that might make you weird to some people, but it also makes you amazing. Can't you see that?

Vampire girl: Why are you helping us?

Amora: Because weirdos like us have to stick together. And no one should be punished for just being themselves.

All three prisoners cheered, and Amora turns the staff around.

Amora: Now, let's teach that big bully a lesson!

The prisoners then began to follow Amora as she began heading towards the warden as Eda was being thrown against the ground, and King was thrown into her arms a second later. Seeing this caused Amora to go into autopilot as a wave of anger to boil into her as Warden Wrath loomed over Eda and King and said something she didn't hear but caused King to whimper and hide his face in Eda's chest.

Amora: ( to Warden Wrath: ) Stop right there, you big meanie!

The prisoners screamed as they barrel rolled into Wrath as Amora flew behind them with a serious expression and a stern look.

Eda: Amora?

Eye-eating Monster: I eat my own eyes!

As the eye-eating monster said this, he was shoving Wrath while the small creature used her tiny size to trip Wrath.

Small creature: I think the world as a twiangle!

Amora then lands the staff onto the ground and dismounts as the vampire girl held Wrath down.

Vampire girl: And I practice the ancient art of fanfiction!

Amora then calmly walked forward as The vampire girl and small creature then worked together to hold the warden down while the eye-eating monster grabs his arms and tied them together, before he flips Wrath onto his stomach so he could see Amora standing a few inches away in front of him.

Warden Wrath: ( to Amora: ) You! Who do you think you are?

Amora: ( sternly, to Wrath: ) Someone that has enough of your entitled behavior. First, you used your power to intimate people by locking away anyway who is different, then you have your guards stalk someone, cut off her head and picked on someone who's smaller than you to get her here, then you start throwing a tantrum and start attacking her when she rejected you!

Eda and King looked at Amora in shock, as they didn't expect the shy girl who fainted when she first saw the place to be scolding the warden after starting a prison break.

Amora: ( sternly, to Warden Wrath: ) So listen here, mister. Just because you're big doesn't mean you get to be a bully! You may be the warden, can turn your hands into weapons, and breathe fire, but you do not. I repeat. YOU. DO. NOT. HURT. MY. FRIENDS!

Amora then glared at the warden in his eyes, causing him to look at her with slight fear as she gave him a glare that made him not wanting to move a muscle.

Amora: Ya got that?

Warden Wrath: Y-Yes ma'am.

Amora: Good, now you go free everyone, and I mean everyone you wrongfully imprisoned and apologized, then go stand in a corner for twenty minutes.

Warden Wrath: But I-

Amora: Don't you " but I " me, mister. March, now.

Warden Wrath: ( defeatingly: ) Yes, ma'am. Right away.

The prisoners then got off of the warden as he stood up and started marching away, humiliated while the prisoners cheered, causing Amora to smile shyly in response.

Small creature: ( while jumping up and down: ) We are victorious!

Eda, with King on her shoulder, walks up to Amora and places a hand on her shoulder.

Eda: ( to Amora: ) Nice work, kid.

King: That was actually one of her better breakups.

Eda: Not a breakup. Anyway, let's bounce before any more monsters fall in love with me.

The trio then fly off on Eda's staff, and Amora looked down to see that a lot of the Conformatorium's prisoners were leaving the place, cheering, causing a small, proud smile to form on her face.

( After they got back to the house. )

Once the trio went inside, Eda leans her staff against the couch before turning to Amora, who had a nervous expression on her face.

Eda: Well, a deal's a deal. Welcome to your new home, kid.

Eda then held her hand out to Amora with a smile, for the shy human to shake it. Amora was hesitant at first, before she shook Eda's hand with a soft smile, but Eda then noticed something on Amora's wrist, it looked to be a bruise.

Eda: Wait, kid, did you get hurt? Let me see it.

Amora: No, wait!-

Eda then pulled up Amora's sleeve, and her eyes widened when she saw that the human girl had multiple large bruises on her arm and wrist, there were also a few that looked to be burn scars on the girl's arm, this caused Eda and King to look at the girl with concern as she pulled her arm away from Eda and pulled her sleeve back down.

Eda: Where- How- ( to Amora: ) What happened to you, kid?

Amora looked at Eda and King hesitantly, as she didn't want to tell them about how or who gave her the scars and bruises, but she knew she couldn't just tell them nothing now that she was living with them.

Amora: I-I don't fit in home, not with my family and not with my peers. I... I don't want to go back, because if I do. ( Tears up ) I'll just be trapped again.

Eda was speechless as her mind was trying to process hearing this while King just ran to Amora and hugged her leg as an attempt to comfort her. Eda looked at the human girl standing before her and saw how fragile the girl looked, and then, she made a decision that sounded somewhat crazy in her head. Amora looked at Eda with shock as the witch gently wiped her tears away and gave her a comforting smile, something that the human girl was not used to seeing.

Eda: Hey, that doesn't matter anymore. As long as you're living under my roof, no one is ever going to hurt you again. And while you're living here, you'll be working with me while I'm going to teach you a few things, and even though I'm not sure if it's even possible, I'm going to try to teach you how to become a witch so you can defend yourself, and if that doesn't work, we can always try teaching you how to use that dagger or you could just use that little glare of yours.

Eda then gently ruffled Amora's hair, which caused the human girl to tear up in joy before she pulled Eda and King into a hug.

Eda: Gah! What's going on?

King: Too tight! Too tight!

Cut to Amora opening a creaking door to a storage room. She then looks around before she grabs a few pillows, a rug, and a few cloth sheets before she makes a makeshift bed for herself on the floor. She then took her backpack off and carefully placed it down on the floor beside her new bed. She then sat down on her knees on the makeshift bed, and opened her backpack to pull out...the last thing she had of her long deceased mother, the teddy bear she had given her when she was a toddler.

Amora then lets out a tired sigh before smiling, and she pulled the cloth sheets that she was using as blankets over her legs as she was about to go to bed with her teddy bear laying beside her when King came in with Francois.

King: Your sleep cocoon looks fluffy.

Amora gave King a kind smile and she pats on a spot on the makeshift bed. King then happily walked to the bed and curls up at the bottom below her feet before he falls asleep. Amora smiled at him before she laid down, and turned to the side to look at her teddy bear before she slowly fell asleep with a smile on her face, as she finally felt safe for the first time in her life.
