It has been only a few minutes and Amora was already about to fall asleep as she was waiting in her seat for something to happen with Knight beside her, and she was beginning to get annoyed. Both Knight and Acorn were fast asleep.

Amora: ( silently, to herself: ) You would think this great Emperor's Coven would provide some kind of entertainment if they were planning on making us wait this long. Or at least have some music playing to pass the time.

Amora then sees Eda come into the stadium and smiles as Eda sits next to her.

Eda: All right, let's see this mess.

The lights then dim down and Principal Bump rises from the floor with spirals of green magic as a spotlight is illuminating him. Amora and Eda were the only ones in the audience that didn't applaud or cheer for the principal as he summoned a mic. Acorn and Knight just glared at the principal, as they were very much still upset at the guy for trying to dissect their human.

Principal Bump: Hello, Bonesborough! Students ask me all the time " Principal Bump, what's the height of magical achievement? "

Witch boy: Is it this?

Amora's eyes then widened in concern as the boy increased the size of his head greatly, which fell over and crushed the student next to him.

Principal Bump: Wow. I failed you as a principal. ( Grabs the mic, with some feedback: ) It's being selected to join the best of the best. And there are none better than the jewel of the coven system...

Suddenly three witches wearing cloaks and what looked like plague doctor masks appeared in front of the principal, causing Amora to raise her brow at them.

Principal Bump: ...and the enforcers of his will, the Emperor's Coven.

Amora wasn't all impressed by the looks of the Emperor's Coven, as they looked more intimidating to her than impressive, she then turned to her side and saw Willow and Gus, she waves at them with a smile.

Willow and Gus then quietly shouted " Amora! " while pointing at Gus' forehead, which was signed, which Amora gave them a thumbs up with a smile in response before she turned her attention back to the show.

Principal Bump: Feast your eyes on this elite force, each member handpicked to help usher in a new age of controlled magic.

Each of the three coven guards traced a white spell circle above their heads. One produces a jet of flame, another water, and the third lightning. The three elements come together in a firework that turns into confetti, impressing the audience except for...

Amora: ( silently, with an unimpressed expression: ) Then where are they? I only see three clown versions of plague doctors turning fire, water, and lightning into confetti.

Eda laughs in response, as she wasn't expecting Amora to say that, but she loved it as it showed that she was rubbing off on her human apprentice.

The coven guards were now holding the same elements in balls between their hands.

Principal Bump: Members of the Emperor's Coven have access to all- yes, all forms of magic. Ooh. Aah.

The audience, except for Eda & Amora: Ooh. Aah.

Principal Bump: But...only the best can ascend these ranks. Some day that could be one of you!

Amora quickly noticed that the principal was pointing directly at someone, and she saw that it was Amity. Amity brightens and squeals in response, causing Amora to smile slightly while Eda just laughs.

The three guards then grabbed their capes before they disappeared in flashes of white light.

Principal Bump: And now, I'm pleased to introduce the esteemed leader of this coven and this year's mystery guest. You know her, you love her! Lilith!

Everyone in the audience besides Eda and Amora gasped, while Amora had a look of confusion as Eda stopped laughing when she heard the name of the leader of the Emperor's Coven.

Eda: Huh?

A bright flash of light near the ceiling turns into a blue raven sitting on a branch. It flies off the branch to the stage, landing to reveal who Amora assumes to be Lilith. The blue raven disappears with a screech as Lilith lifts her arms and sends her mask flying. The audience applauds and cheers in response, while Eda looks at Lilith speechless, and Amora quickly noticed.

Amora: Do you know her, Eda?

Eda: You could say that.

Amora looks at Eda with confusion before she turns her attention back to Lilith.

Lilith: Thank you, all.

Lilith magically sends her cape and mask back into Principal Bump.

Lilith: It wasn't easy for me to rise to the top. I also started from humble beginnings.

Witch boy: Like me?

Lilith: Now I have the highest honor of enforcing the Emperor's will. So be more! The Emperor's Coven awaits you!

Lilith spins, creating the raven illusion again. It spreads its wings before bursting into balls of light. Lilith poses with her arms out, smirking, while Eda glares at her. Amora quickly got up and followed Eda with Knight waking up and following after his owner as the witch leaves the auditorium.

Amora: Eda, wait! Where are you going?

Eda: I'm gonna head home and wash the con funk off my skin.

Amora: ( takes a deep breath ) Eda, I know something is troubling you. If you can please stop for a moment and tell me what's wrong, maybe we can-

Eda: Nothing's wrong!

Amora stopped in her tracks as she flinched in response to Eda snapping at her, which woke Acorn up and caused Eda to stop as well and looked at the human with an apologetic look.

Eda: Kid, I'm-

Amora: I-It's okay. I didn't mean to pry, I'll just go find King so we can leave.

Amora then took off before Eda could say anything in response. Knight followed Amora as Acorn nuzzled her cheek to comfort her. Amora walking with her eyes on the ground as she was deep in her thoughts when she accidentally bumped into someone.

Amity: Watch where you- ( to Amora, with a frown: ) Oh, it's you. Willow's... abomination thing. And your...pets.

Amora: ( as she shyly offers her hand out to Amity to shake it: ) Oh, hi. I'm um, not an abomination, I'm Amora the human. And I'm so sorry about what happened last week. I was just trying to-

Amora then flinched slightly as Amity smacked her hand away, causing Acorn and Knight to glare at her.

Amity: Ugh. Put that away. You're the one that got me in trouble with Principal Bump and I never get in trouble.

Amora hesitanted at first, but she began following Amity as she began walking away, as Amora still wanted to make things right between her and the witch girl, despite of what Amity did.

Amora: Well, um, to be fair.... You were okay with him dissecting me-

Amity then stops and turns to Amora.

Amity: You can't be here! This covention is for witches only.

Amora: ( with a nervous smile: ) O-Oh, well, um, I'm sorta learning how to be a witch. I'm receiving lessons from a really nice and powerful witch and demon lessons from a great demon.

Amity then looked over Amora's shoulders, ignoring the baby trash slug on the human shoulder that was glaring at her.

Amity: Is that your great demon there?

Amora turns around to see King, decked out in merch, walking towards them with two bakers walking behind him, seeing this caused Knight to slip from his harness and run to King's side protectively as he scared off the two bakers with a growl.

King: ( isn't bothered by Knight scaring off the bakers as he held two cupcakes in his claws and he eats one of them ) Cupcakes in my tummy-tum makes the King say yummy-yum! ( Sees Amora ) Oh, hey, Amora!

King runs towards Amora with Knight following after him.

King: Look at all those offerings-

King then makes a " Wah! " as he accidentally trips on his scarf causing him to drop, Amora quickly caught him before he could hit the ground. She then reached to pick up the cupcake he dropped as Knight began sniffing at him to check if the small demon was alright, but before Amora could pick it up, Amity steps on the cupcake and both King and Amora gasp while Knight and Acorn glared at the mean witch even harder then before.

Amity: Oops. That was an accident.

Amora: ( with a nervous smile, as she was trying her best not to get upset: ) H-Hey, there's no reason to be mean, Amity-

Amity: You and your pets are giving witches in training a bad name. I saw that's a good reason to be mean, if you ask me.

King: ( while scratching his face with his hind leg: ) I'm not a pet!

Amora: ( takes a deep breath ) ( to Amity: ) Listen. Let's just calm down and not jump to conclusions. I get that you might think that I can't be a witch-

Amity: 'Cause you can't.

Knight angrily growls at Amity while Acorn hissed at her, but they both stopped when Amora raised her hand to silence them. She then lowers her hand before she continued talking to Amity with a kind smile.

Amora: But, there's no need to b-bully my friends. We can just talk things out and-

Amity: Why would I want to talk anything out with a human like you? You can barely even talk to me without stammering.

King: Don't let her talk to you like that, Amora!

Amora looked between King and Amity with a nervous expression while her critters continued glaring at Amity. She then takes a deep breath and she calmly puts the harness back on Knight before she grabs the nightbitter cub's leash with one hand, and grabs King's claw with the other, confusing the three demons and the young witch.

Amora: ( to King, with a kind smile and a hint of sadness in her eyes: ) Come on, King. Let's find Eda. We can grab you another cupcake on the way.

King: But, Amora! You can't just let that bully get away with talking to you like that!

Amora: ( while she glanced back at Amity: ) It's alright, King. I forgive her.

King: What?!

Amity looked at the human girl with shock as Amora walked away from her with King and her two critters. Acorn was still glaring at Amity though, as Amity's words to her surrogate mother angered the tiny trash slug.

( With Eda )

Eda was trying to sneak out of the Covention when she heard a familiar voice that caused her to stop in her tracks.

Lilith: Sister?

Eda turns around to see Lilith surrounded by Hexside students.

Lilith: It's been so long since I've seen you last! ( Signs something and hands it to a student ) What are you wearing? You look like some sort of trash collector. Oh, right. You are.

Eda: Oh, Lily. I just had to see the leader of the Emperor's Coven in action. ( Leans down to the students ) You know, when we were kids, Lilith was so excited to see the Emperor's Coven, she peed a little.

The kids laughed, making Lilith blush out of embarrassment and she quickly began ushering the students off.

Lilith: That-That's all for today! ( To Eda: ) You shouldn't even be here. You're a wanted criminal! Unless... ( Gasps ) I don't believe it! You are here to join the Emperor's Coven!

Eda: ( chortles, laughs ) In your dreams. ( Laughing )

Lilith: You think being covenless makes you so much smarter than everyone else. But while you run from the law like a degenerate, I'm mentoring the next generation of powerful witch students into the world.

Eda: Well, I have a student. And I bet she could wipe the floor with any of your prissy little blue bloods. 

Lilith steps closer to Eda.

Lilith: Is that a challenge?

Eda: ( with a smile ) Oh, it's a promise ( remembers Amora's glare ), especially when my kid has a special ability.

Amora then pops in between them with a nervous expression. King and Knight were standing behind her while Acorn was still on Amora's shoulder, Acorn was now glaring at Lilith.

Amora: Sorry to interrupt, but um, maybe we can just talk things out instead-

Lilith: Is this your student, Eda? ( Kneels down ) Look at those ears!

Amora flinched slightly in response to Lilith getting so close to her, and she covers her ears with an embarrassed blush on her face while Acorn and Knight protectively glared at the witch.

Lilith: Is she human? ( Chuckles and stands ) Where did you even find one of these?-

Eda: ( protectively stands in front of Amora ) ( to Lilith, sternly: ) That's something you don't need to know.

Lilith was taken aback a bit before she smiled at Eda.

Lilith: Okay, Eda.

Lilith traces a spell circle, and Amora watched in surprise as the wanted posters of Eda in the building burned away.

Lilith: For one day, you won't have to hide from the law, because I want to see how good a teacher you are.

Lilith glanced down at Amora with a frown for a few seconds before she walked away from the group.

Eda: ( to Amora: ) Come on, kid. Time to prepare for bloodshed.

Amora: ( with a scared expression: ) W-Whose b-b-blood?

Eda: Anyone's guess! ( Chuckles )

Eda then stops chuckling when she heard a thud and a small squeak, she then looks down to see that Amora had fainted out of fear and Acorn was now on the floor, looking at the unconscious human with worry.

King: ( honestly: ) I saw that coming.

Eda: Okay, note to self. Figure out how to teach the kid to not faint whenever she's scared, because it might actually get her killed one day.
