A Spark: Part 7

AHHH!! I know I keep saying this but thank you!! 😊😁 This story reached over 100 reads (or views, whatever). So yay! I was so happy I decided to write and post a chapter as fast as possible. Again, thanks so much! I really appreciate it. Enjoy :)

Lukas had been searching for a week in the portal hallway, and he was already sick of that place.

First, he had gone back to Crown Mesa using the Atlas, hoping to find answers there. Hopefully, he could find Harper or someone that knew about PAMA and the notes. But when he got there, the place was deserted (see what I did there? Cause it's a desert-okay never mind) and empty. All that was there was wind blowing sand, and houses with no one in them.

He began to worry even more. What happened to everyone? Did this have something to do with PAMA?

After searching the whole Mesa, he continued back to the hallway, unsure of where to go, but still determined.

Up until today, he had been searching everywhere for clues, evidence, basically anything that could connect his notes and their writer. Also his journal.

But he had found nothing. Nothing. He felt so helpless, but didn't want to give up now.

Lukas pocketed the Atlas and sighed as he looked at the portal in front of him. It had red stone blocks and obsidian as the outer part, and the inside color was black.

"I don't think I've checked this one yet," he murmured, as he stepped into the portal.

*******************************

There was a tingling sensation as he walked through the portal, but this one sent shivers up his spine. He sighed and shook his head. It's nothing, he thought.

And then he gasped at the sight in front of him.

In front of him stood a humongous dome shaped building that was made of obsidian, redstone blocks, and iron blocks.

His mouth fell open.

People! There were people here!

There was a lot of people, all staring the dome, backs facing him. This could be his chance!

He quickly ran up to the nearest person and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Excuse me, can you please help me-?"

The person turned around, and Lukas' smile was immediately replaced with fear.

"Of COuRsE LUKAS," PAMA's voice escaped from the person's mouth. "I WILL HELP YOU BECOME USEFUL."

Lukas was just about to run, as the person punched him in the face. He fell to the floor, feeling blood escape from his nose.

The last thing he saw was blood red eyes, before darkness closed in, and he blacked out.
