Roku p.o.v

I was sitting my cell because there was nothing to do but sit and think about what I had done I would eat the food they give me and I wasn't allowed to to leave my cell at all I've been here for three years away from my father, mother and my seven year old sister

Guard - hey traitor dinner

He dropped the tray of food on the floor so I got up and walked up to the tray and he kicked the tray towards me and I began eating

Guard - look at you the child of a great general born of fire and water sitting in a cell all you do is sit around all day everyday you do nothing and you don't say anything

Then he walked away while I ate my food then my little sister natsumi ran up to my cell

Natsumi - hey big brother

I didn't say anything to her because I didn't know what to say to her

Natsumi - big brother please say something

I continued to say nothing to her because I had nothing to say and I continued to eat

Natsumi - big brother why won't you say anything I miss you

I finished my food and I saw my little sister start to cry because I wouldn't say anything to her

Natsumi - I hope you talk to me when I come to see again

Then she walked away crying I was upset that I made her cry by not talking to her

Roku - how long until I die so I can finally get out of here

One Week Later

I was hoping this week would be different like I do every week but I'm always wrong it's always the same but this time for the first time ever since got here my father showed up

Dad - hello son

Like with everyone else who shows up and talks to me I didn't say anything to him because I knew he was disappointed in me and still made at me

Dad - so your not gonna say anything

I continued to listen and not say anything even if he is my father I'm still not gonna say anything to him

Dad - will you talk if I say you can finally get out of here

Roku - ok talk

For the first time since I got out in here I finally spoke to someone

Dad - we have discovered a new planet and I convinced the higher ups to send you there you get to spend a year on that planet to gather information and then lead an invasion to conquer that planet this is your chance to redeem yourself

Roku - what's the name of this planet

Dad - earth the people there look like us but they don't have powers like us, so are you in

Roku - what's in it for me

Dad - your freedom

Roku - I was greatly outnumbered the day I fought the invasion of that planet I was protecting and gave up my freedom willingly, but there's something you don't know

Roku - I've been secretly training and can take my freedom back when ever I want

Dad - are you gonna break out or are you going to do what I say

Roku - I'll go

Then I was released from my cell I was given the things they took from me my dad even brought me a change of clothes then I followed my dad outside and I saw my sister

Natsumi - (scared) big brother

Roku - hey natsumi

Then she ran up to me and hugged me

Natsumi - your finally talking

Roku - I chose to stay silent so they think I had given hope

Natsumi - (crying) but dad's forcing you to go to a planet and conquer it

Roku - I am going to the planet they plan to conquer the name of that planet is earth they want me to go and redeem myself

Natsumi - big brother let me go with you

Dad - natsumi no you are too young

Natsumi - don't worry I'll keep her safe so she's coming with me, she came to visit me by yourself after mom died and I don't want you corrupting her mind because mom wouldn't want het to follow in your footsteps

So I picked her up and we got in dad's car I packed my clothes and my sister did the same then dad took usto the place where all the ships are kept so I got on one with natsumi I put her in a seat and she put her seat belt on then I sat in the pilots seat and I took off and I couldn't wait to get to earth so I could start my life anew with my little sister
