The stars glimmered as they floated in the night's sky. "I am the most gorgeous star in the sky!" Exclaimed Dubhe; a bright and glamorous star of the Big Dipper constellation.
"You may be gorgeous, but I am the most brightest star in the sky!" Cried Antares - one of the brightest stars that make up the Scorpio constellation - as she shined as bright as she could.
"Ha!" Laughed Zosma from the Leo constellation. "You may be gorgeous and you may be bright, but I am the most beautiful star in the sky!" Gloated Zosma as she twirled around.
Meanwhile, in a distant galaxy, Zoteb - a mean and greedy Troll - began to concoct his evil scheme. "I must be the greatest troll there ever was!" Stated Zoteb. "I must find the most gorgeous, the brightest, and the most beautiful stars in each of the galaxies!" Zoteb twirled around and stared at his map of all the galaxies. "First," he placed a small red push pin on a galaxy on his map. "I shall go to the Milky Way!" He got into his one troll space pod and started it up. "One small plot for Zoteb, one large disaster for everyone else!" Laughed Zoteb as he flew out towards the Milky Way.

In the Milky Way galaxy, a small green and blue planet; three brownies are planing a badge activity for their unit. "What should we do?" Asked Nova; a brownie who was in the Nymph circle.
"Maybe we should look at our solar system!" Exclaimed Delia from the Dryads circle.
"I know!" Cried Sophie from the Sprites as she jumped up nearly knocking her small plastic chair over. "We can look at and identify different Constellations!"
"That's a great idea!" Delia got up as Sophie straightened her chair.
"But which ones? There are so many to choose from!" Pouted Nova.
"Maybe we each should choose one and present them to the group?" Commanded Sophie. Both Delia and Nova agreed.

In outer space, Zoteb had nicely made his way into the Milky Way Galaxy. "Wow!" He exclaimed as he passed Pluto. "I had imagined milk floating around! Boy was I wrong!" He zoomed past Neptune and Saturn. Looking for the stars, he came across the North Star. He went up to her and asked "do you know where I can find the most gorgeous star in this galaxy?" Before the North Star could reply, a loud "I am the most gorgeous star here!" Grabbed Zoteb's attention. He turned to see Dubhe looking at him.
"Hmm..." he examined her. "Ah yes, how could I have been so ignorant to see your gorgeousness!" He floated towards Dubhe. "You, my lady, are the most gorgeous star in this galaxy!" He stated as he scooped her up and placed her in a heavy duty, super strong, unbreakable, sealed container and floated back to the North Star. "Hello again!" He said with a friendly smile. "Do you know where I can find the brightest star in this galaxy?"
The North Star took a moment and looked at Zoteb. But before she could reply, another star yelled to Zoteb.
"I am the brightest star in this here galaxy!" Cried Antares as she shimmered towards him.
"Hmm..." Zoteb looked at Antares closely before giving his reply. "You definitely are the brightest star here! I must add you to my collection!" He laughed as he grabbed Antares and plopped her in with Dubhe in the heavy duty, super strong, unbreakable, sealed container and twirled back to the North Star. "Do you know where I can find the most beautiful star?" He waited for her answer but she gave none. The silence was finally shattered when Zosma cried out,
"I am the most beautiful star here!"
"Hmm..." Zoteb looked at her. Zosma looked at him. Finally, without saying a word, Zoteb added Zosma into the heavy duty, super strong, unbreakable, sealed container with Antares and Dubhe.
The North Star was frightened. She though Zoteb was going to capture her too. So she hid behind an asteroid as Zoteb zoomed away laughing evily.
"I must find some help!" Declared the North Star. And off she went.

Later, down on planet Earth. The three brownies got together and shared their findings.
"I have decided to do the Big Dipper Constellation!" Exclaimed Delia as she handed out pictures of the Big Dipper to Sophie and Nova.
"I have chosen to do the Scorpio Constellation!" Sophie stated as she handed out pictures of the Scorpio constellation to both Nova and Delia.
"I decided to choose the Leo constellation" mumbled Nova as she handed out a picture of the Leo Constellation to both Sophie and Delia.
All three of them looked over each other's constellations. After five to ten minutes of looking at the constellation pictures, the girls decided to find them in the actual outer space.
"Look!" Delia Exclaimed as she looked out from the telescope to her friends. "You can see the Big Dipper!" She handed the scope to Sophie to look at. Sophie looked through the telescope.
"Hmm..." she looked at the picture of the Big Dipper that she held in her hand, then peered back through the telescope. "Are you sure that's the Big Dipper?" She questioned as she turned to look at Delia.
Delia looked at her like she had three heads. "I'm positive! That that is the Big Dipper!"
"Well..." Sophie looked at the picture in her hands again. "You see, in this picture, there is a star here" she pointed to the spot on the page. "But when you look up at it through the scope," she handed the scope to Nova. "The star isn't there"
"What do you mean it's not there?!?" Delia questioned angrily as she plopped her hands on her hip.
"Hey, calm down Delia! Sophie's right! One of the stars is missing!" Nova tried to control the situation. "Look for yourself!" She handed the scope to Delia. Delia peered through the telescope.
"Hmm... I see!" She looked at her friends. "But how did it go missing?" Suddenly a bright light shone brightly through the night sky.
"Do not be afraid..." the light said.
"Who are you?" The girls replied echoing each other.
"My name is Polaris..." the light dimmed to show a small white star shinning out their window. "Or as others call me... the North Star..."
"You're the North Star?" The three brownies echoed in unison.
"Yes. Now, as you might have noticed, some of my frienemies have been taken by a dark and evil monster!" Polaris exclaims as a magenta coloured puff of smoke appears and covers the room.
"If you're gonna take on a dark and evil monster... you're gonna need my help to do it!" Suddenly a figure appeared within the smoke.
"Kale?" Polaris called. "What are you doing here?" A small Alien flying squirrel revealed himself from the cloud of smoke.
"Well... humans can't breathe in space like you and I can. So..." reveals a mini space shuttle With a red body, a glass sky roof and a green clover on the hood.
Polaris looked at Kale. "Seriously? You kept that?" She pointed at the clover.
"It adds luck! Anyways... I have brought my ship to help get the brownies to Zoteb's lair!"
"Really?" Cried Delia as the others joined in.
"We can ride in an ACTUAL space ship?" Exclaimed Sophie. This made Kale grin. His grin was nearly a mile wide.
"Of course you can!" He said calmly, guiding the brownies to the ship's entrance. All but Nova followed. She stayed with Polaris, observing the squirrel like Allen as he guided her friends into the ship.
"Why aren't you going with Kale?" Polaris bent down to Nova's height. "Is there something wrong?" Nova looked at the ship, then at Polaris as if to clarify with herself that she was correct.
"It seems off... like there's a dark cloud hovering over it" suddenly, bars covered the spaceship's windows preventing escape, as a beam of darkness struck Polaris, pulling her towards the ship.
"Oh no!" Cried Nova as she tried to pull Polaris away from the ship.
"No! Leave me! Use these to travel to Zoteb's lair!" Polaris handed Nova eight magical stones. "You're our only hope!" And with a bright flash of light, Polaris and the ship were gone. Leaving Nova all alone.
"What am I going to do?"

Kale brought his catch to Zoteb's lair. "Hey Zoteb! I got the brownies and the North Star you requested!" Kale dragged the girls into the centre of the room.
"Well done!" Exclaimed Zoteb "put them with the others!" He ordered. Kale did as he was told and put Polaris, Delia and Sophie into a large steel cage, where Dubhe, Zosma and Antares lay; quivering in the corner.
"What are you going to do with us!" Cried Delia as she pressed against the cold rusted bars.
"Just wait and see" replied Zoteb maliciously.
Polaris looked at Kale.
"How could you betray us?" She yelled out to him. Kale laughed.
"Oh... poor Polaris, so innocent... that's your weakness! You're too nice! I have always followed Zoteb! Even In High school! You just didn't notice!" He laughed as he walked away.
"What are we going to do?" Sophie stated as tears began to stream down her face. Suddenly, Delia felt a poking on her shoulder. She turned around to see the gate door open and Nova, standing with the keys and seven marble sized balls in her hand.
"NOVA!!!" The other brownies whispered in excitement.
"Guys! I've come to save you!" Nova exclaimed as she guided the girls out of the cage. "Now, take a ball!" She held out her hand that held the balls and one by one, everyone had obtained a small silver ball.
"Well, well, well..." Zoteb stepped out of the shadows with a dark grin on his face. Kale followed quickly behind Zoteb. "I see the jail birds managed to get out if their cell!" Laughed Zoteb.
"The only jail birds around here are you two!" Nova yelled as the three stars stepped out towards the brownies and Polaris. "You think you can just go around and do as you please? You think everyone will just stop what they're doing and follow you, just because you're ignorant?" By this time, the fear that worried Zoteb had fallen across his face.
"That's it! I've had enough of you! Kale! Dispose of them!" Zoteb yelled, turning to Kale with rage when he didn't move. "What are you doing? Get them!" He ordered once more. But Kale was blank in the face. Looking down, Kale walked over to the brownies. He turned to face Zoteb, standing in front of them as if protecting them.
"They're right! Zoteb! You didn't need to kidnap the stars to be the most terrifying troll ever! You were already that and more! If only you saw it earlier, we could have avoided this whole situation!" Zoteb was taken back by Kale's words of wisdom. He looked down and peered into a piece of broken glass that lay on the ground. He bent down and picked it up, still looking in it, he saw his reflection and that of Polaris'. And that's when it clued in. He didn't need any gold or riches, nor did he need to do wrong deeds. All he ever needed and will ever need is the power of friendship. Tear formed in his eyes. The tears were cold rolling down his green, rough, hot skin. He looked up at the group. The glass still in his hand. He walked towards them.
"I'm sorry" he stated calmly, dropping the glass on the ground.
"Apology accepted!" The others stated in unison.

Years have past since that day. Kale married Polaris, and they had three lovely daughters and two sons.
Zoteb has finished his time and now owns a community centre, where he can help the customers all day everyday.
The three stars, Zosma, Antares and Dubhe, have sadly left the earth in a giant ball of light, but three new stars, their daughters, have taken they're places and are shining brighter than ever.
The brownies have graduated from school and are each doing their share of help in everything they do.
Nova is working as a astronaut, searching wide open space for new life forms.
Delia has become an environmental scientist, keeping the earth healthy and expanding it's life span.
And Sophie is a CEO of a large company that helps rescue endangered animals, and saves them from extinction.

The world is now a better place, thanks to the help from the brownies!
