"We need to talk." I said to her. I could feel her breath sharpening and her body tensing up. My arms hugged her tightly while I breathed slowly against her neck.

Her hands curled into shaking fists and I found myself exhaling a deep breath.

"About what?"

I loosened my arms around her small waist and put them on her shoulders before turning her to face me.

Her dark blue eyes bored into my weary grey ones before looking down and shutting them.

"Monica..." I spoke softly. She didn't look up but I knew that once I called her name, she was giving me her full attention.

"I-I... please comeback to me." It seemed that the words blurred out of my mouth before I could think twice.
