Rune: if it doesnt work, then it means we failed to do our part. That means we have to do our best to crush Every. Single. Hope they have.

Rune: oh...and Kurome?

IF POV

I wake up this morning feeling homesick. I havent visited the house and my little brother for a while. He isn't sending letters and its making me worried.

Compa: hello iffy, whats up? You look troubled...

IF: well, im worried...

Compa: what are you worried bout iffy? If its about nep-nep's work, then ill do it for you in your free time!

IF: no. Its not....that...

Compa: iffy? Why are you about to cry? Is it really that troubling? Ill be here for you.

IF: its...about my brother...little brother to be exact...

Compa: woah...I never knew you have a little brother.

IF: well, people DO say we have different  interest so...I guess people just think he is a cousin.

Compa: so, whats the problem? gasp is he sick and about to die after years of medical treatment?!?!

IF: NONONONONO, why did you come to a conclusion like that? Anyways...I havent visited him for the past three years.

Compa: past three years? Isn't that the time we met nep-nep and the others?

IF: well, I guess helping out in the guild along with the basilicom really took a toll on my time.

Compa: are you worried he died?

IF: no, im worried because he might be sad, alone and crying. But I guess thats just the opposite of his looks and personality. He is a really brave boy. He will save someone from monsters even if it cost him his life. One day when I was ten, he helped another girl, same age as his, escape a fenrir but...instead of being unharmed, the fenrir made a big gash on his back and leg. Left leg to be exact. I was too late when I got to him. The guards were able to beat the fenrir and bring him to the hospital but..

Compa: what? What happened?

IF: after his complete recovery, he started... drifting away from me... whenever I came to visit after I got the job on the guild, it was always...small talk then he leaves. That was after 4 years of being an agent for the guild.

Compa: I guess, he could have been lonely without you. I mean, how many times do you visit him per year?

IF: I visit him 5 times a year...but then after the fourth year as a guild agent, he started becoming...more angry. He was almost always infuriated about stuff...maybe its his school?

Compa: I dont know, but I think you should console him and comfort him. It may help you to reconnect with him?

IF: that is a good Idea compa!

Compa: no problem. Im happy to help!

IF: say...wanna come with me?

Compa: sure! Id love to meet your little brother.

IF: before that...

Timeskip to the basilicom

IF: Histoire!!!

Compa: histy?? Where are you!!!

Histoire: yes IF? Compa?

IF: oh Histoire. I was gonna inform you that me and compa are going somewhere so you might not hear from us in...I guess till tomorrow noon?

Histoire: I understand... but what seems to be the problem?

Compa: well, me and iffy are going out of town to visit her house. Well, more specifically, to visit his little brother.

Histoire: oh, why is it that you didn't mention that you have a brother IF?

IF: well, I kinda forgot since I was busy and all. I havent seen him since three years ago. When I ment neptune, things got hectic that I mostly think of how to deal with her and I forgot my brother ..

Histoire: very well, I will await for any messages that you may send at the allocated time you said. But first, you cant leave with an empty stomach. Care to have breakfast? Nepgear made pancakes.

IF: sure! I mean, breakfast doesn't sound bad right Compa?

Compa: yeppy, im starving anyway. Lets go!

IF: right!
