Long story short, Ava made a compromise with the Daemos. She would take them out to explore the next day if they let her take pictures of them. She promised that she wouldn't make any exceptions or excuses and that she would answer any of their questions. She also said, with a heavy blush, that she and Y/n (with her consent, might I add) would help them into their human clothes. Asch being Asch thought that Ava was giving in to their reign. Ava thought that that would be a bad idea on second thought but... She had already given her word so she had to go along with it.

So it was decided, Ava and Y/n would take the Daemos out to see the world 'upon the rising of the next sun' in Asch's words. Unfortunately for Ava, she got caught in a challenge as a prize. Between Leif and Asch, whoever got the most likes, had the honor to kill her. Since Y/n wasn't here, she was disregarded. Not only because of that but because Y/n seemed like a very strong sorceress that they didn't want to mess with until they knew her weaknesses. And so the photoshoot had begun.

After a long and unique photoshoot, Ava was more than overjoyed.

"I have 2337 followers now," Ava said flabbergasted, "This is insane! This is almost too much. Am I ready to wield this kind of power? This kind of responsibility."

"Enough talk," Asch interrupted, "What is the number of human likes for myself against Leif?"

"Oh, yeah! I forgot," Ava said, quickly scrolling through pictures and calculating the likes, "Whoa, it looks like Asch is ahead of Leif by... Wow, quite a bit... Most of the likes seem to be from the photo of Asch and Y/n."

"As expected," Asch flaunted.

"What? No way!" Leif complained.

"Looks like the honor of Ava's life is mine, Leif. Don't worry, you jus-," Asch started but stopped himself when he saw Leif throwing Ava over his shoulder, earning gasps from the other Daemos.

"This contest isn't over, Asch, and I'm gonna make sure I win," Leif announced before jumping out of the window and onto the pavement. The children that were down there got so scared that they ran off in different directions. Leif dashed to the park, not caring that some humans had seen him.

Asch walked up to the window, "Leif, how dare he!" Asch was about to jump out the window and follow Leif but was stopped by his royal adviser, Rhys.

"Your Majesty, don't!"

"Why not?" Asch asked infuriated.

"Didn't you see how those humans reacted? If we jump, we'll just alert them to our presence," Rhys reasoned.

"Then what do we do?" Pierce asked.

"Last time I went out, Y/n used her magic box. Follow me," Rhys informed, taking off into the corridors of the apartment building and standing in the elevator with his comrades by his side.

"What is this?" Asch asked.

"This is Y/n's A-la-va-tor," Rhys explained, "It can take us to the exit."

"Wow! How does it work?" Noi asked extremely intrigued.

"Simple, you push a button and it takes you where you want to go," Rhys explained again.

Asch turned to the button panel and pushed all the buttons. "Take me to Leif, A-la-va-tor!" Asch commanded.

"Wait, that's not how it-," Rhys started but was interrupted when the elevator started to shake and calming elevator music started to play.

"AHHHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO, ASCH?!" Noi asked panicked.

"He's angered it!" Pierce announced.

"No, this is how it works," Rhys clarified. Noi, Pierce, and Asch didn't listen and started to scream. After what seemed like floor after floor, the elevator stopped.

"Huh, it stopped?" Noi stated questioningly. Suddenly, the elevator doors opened to Jake.

"Are you guys alright? I heard screamin-," Jake began but was stopped by Pierce hitting him around the side of his head.

"Good job again, Pierce," Noi said clapping. The four Daemos stepped out of the elevator and walked back to the apartment. "But what do we do now?"

"I say we wait," Rhys announced, shocking the Daemos.

"Wait?!" Asch retorted, "Leif could be killing her for all we know and you just want to WAIT?! "

"I understand your panic and anger, Your Majesty, but hear me out," Rhys said, earning the Daemos Prince's attention, "Leif has nowhere to turn to. This is the only place he could return to if need be. We all know not of Y/n's whereabouts so there is a chance that he could return here." The other Daemos nodded and decided to play the waiting game.

Meanwhile...

Leif and Ava had reached the park.

"You are the worst! The absolute worst! I'm sure a ton of people saw you and now we're going to get into so much trouble!" Ava complained angrily.

"Oh, I live for trouble," Leif said, sparkles appearing in his emerald-green eyes. (A.n: Thank you to the readers that notified me about this mistake; it has been corrected. For those of you who are new, ignore this.)

"No! You live to be an idiot, obviously!" Ava corrected.

Leif drew his sickles and pointed one at Ava, angling for the small female's throat. "Now then, get me more human likes or else."

"You'll kill me?" Ava asked, not at all fazed by his threat.

"You catch on quick," Leif observed, chuckling.

Ava sighed before asking, "What is it with you and being so... Kill-happy?" Ava turned from Leif and walked to a bench with a Starbucks coffee cup that rested on it. She turned back to Leif before continuing, "You know, that's a horrible thing here on Earth."

"Heh, never had somebody ask me about that before. You see, I'm a former assassin. Not to brag or anything but, in our group, I'm the second most deadly. Those who cross my path, don't live very long," Leif explained.

"Really?" Ava asked. I'm more scared of Y/n when she walks into a room than you pointing your sharp sickles at me. Ava chuckled at the thought before turning her attention back to Leif. "For some reason, you guys don't scare me or Y/n..." Ava clarified but didn't want to say that she was scared of Y/n because he would probably tell the other Daemos about it.

"That's because you both are powerful sorcerers! You obviously don't know fear," Leif said, putting his weapons away. Ava picked up the Starbucks cup and gave it to Leif.

"Right... Here. Hold this cup and pose right next to this fountain. Pretend like your going to drink it. This picture is so basic, no one will be able to resist," Ava instructed. Leif did as he was told and, soon enough, the picture was posted.

"Did I get more likes than Asch?" Leif asked.

"Soon you will," Ava said.

"Come on, you slowpokes!" A faint voice had said but it was clear to Ava who they were.

"Wait... That's..." Ava trailed off, earning a 'huh' from Leif. Ava faced contorted into one of shock and fear, "H-hide!" Ava demanded, running into the bushes, Leif following close behind. Soon the two were hidden in the bushes, out of sight. Then three humans arrived at where Ava and Leif had once been. It was Steve, Orin, and Kristen.

"Steve, the shortcut is terrible!" Kristen complained like she was the sister of Regina George.

"The movies gonna start soon!" Orin said.

"Just trust me!" Steve said.

"I'm just gonna Google the route!" Kristen said, reaching for her phone.

"No!" Steve shouted.

"Not them!" Ava complained, head in her hands.

"Who are they?" Leif asked.

Ava looked up from her hands and looked at Leif. "Powerful humans. When these particular humans get together, they form a clique. They prey on your emotions and self-confidence."

"Your wha?" Leif asked.

"Just take me home..." Ava said.

"You look odd," Leif said.

"Huh?"

"I can kill those humans for you if it makes you not do that."

"N-no no no no no!" Ava said. Even if he is serious, I can't risk them seeing me alone with Leif! They'll question his horns and our relationship for sure! "Hey, how about you take me home the way that you did!" But before Leif could say anything, Ava noticed that the clique had left the premise.

Before Ava got get up and out of the bushes, something grabbed her and took off into a nearby ally. "Ava!" Leif shouted, getting out of the bush and following the captor of Ava. When he went into the ally, there was a dead-end but...

Ava and her kidnapper were nowhere to be seen! Leif knew he would need help so he reluctantly went back to Ava's apartment, where the other Daemos lay waiting.

"Leif, you are finally back! You are in so much trouble for disobeying me and my orde-," Asch began but was interrupted by Rhys' panicked voice.

"LEIF! WHERE'S SORCERESS AVA?!" All the Daemos looked at him and saw the panic on Leif's face.

"Something took Ava! I don't know but it just did. I tried to go after them but then they just disappeared!" Leif explained. He was hoping for a response but looked up to see his comrades with their weapons wielded. Leif turned to the window he used to enter and saw a figure standing there with Ava over their shoulder. Ava had her mouth taped shut so all that came out were muffled screams; her hands were tied with rope. The figure hopped down from the window and threw Ava on the couch. Noi and Pierce made their way to Ava's side and removed the tape from Ava's mouth.

The Daemos took a minute to take in the kidnapper's features. They wore a black suit with a black cloak draped over their body. The hood of the cape was put over their head to hide their identity. They also wore grey gloves that had fresh blood on them. Along their hip was a silver-colored belt with daggers, knives, and a gun strapped to it. Their face was covered by a shadow so their facial features could not be seen.

"Who are you? And how dare you kidnap Sorceress Ava!" Rhys interrogated the mysterious figure, the crystal at the end of his staff glow in the slightest. The kidnapper said nothing but turn their attention to the ground. Rhys looked to Leif and gave him a commanding glare. Leif knew what he had to do and nodded.

Leif teleported behind the figure.

The figure hooked their arms around Leif's neck and threw him over their shoulder and in front of him, smashing the coffee table. The Daemos gasped while Pierce wanting running towards the figure. The figure turned to Pierce and ducked before Pierce could land a hit on them.

Then they swiped Pierce's feet, causing him to lose balance. They, then, kicked their foot up high and knocked the sword out of Pierce's hand. The figure turned their body so that their stomach was facing the ground. They used the arms to stay steady and kicked Pierce in the stomach, sending him flying into the kitchen counter.

"PIERCE!" The Daemos and Ava shouted.

The figure swiftly jumped up and grasped Pierce's sword, taking an offensive stance. The Daemos and Ava were terrified. If someone like that could defeat Pierce, who knows what they could do?

Ava spoke up, "P-please leave us alone! W-we did nothing wrong!" The mysterious figure snapped their vision to Ava. Although Ava couldn't see it, she felt a blood-curdling glare burning into her soul. She whimpered and hid behind Noi, seeing as he was the closest to her. With all the strength they could, Pierce and Leif stood up and limped over to Ava, protecting her.

Rhys gulped away fear, found a source of courage, and asked again. "Who are you? We see you are powerful and we want to cause no harm to you. Just don't hurt any of us anymore and tell us who you are."

The figure lowered their stance, crouched down, and slid Pierce's sword to Rhys. The figure slowly slid the hood of their cloak down. The Daemos and Ava were shocked, their mouths dropping to the floor at who it was.

"Y/N?!" Ava shouted, truly shocked that her neighbor and best friend was her so-called 'kidnapper'.

"Hey, guys!" Y/n said chuckling. She moved her hand through her hair in an attempt to fix it. The Daemos stood there shocked. They didn't know what to think!

" But- What- Wait- HOW?!" Ava asked.

"Well..." Y/n trailed off.

"Explain!" Ava demanded.

"Okay," Y/n said with a heavy sigh. "I am a..." Y/n hesitated but continued.

"I'm a hire-assassin." Y/n finished.

"WHAT?!" Ava and the Daemos shouted. Leif had a smile across his face. Rhys, Noi, Pierce, and Asch were just shocked.

"Yep," Y/n said, dropping herself onto a chair, "I kill people for a living!" She leans back in her chair, her arms behind her head, cushioning it, and her eyes closed.

"You say that like it's normal!" Ava said in a louder tone.

Y/n opened her left eye and looked at Ava, "Honey, it is normal! For me at least." Just as Ava was about to protest, a 'ping' was heard from Ava's phone.

Ava checked her phone, "Oh no!"

"What?" Leif said worriedly.

"My dad's asking about my Instagram account!" Ava clarified, making Y/n open her eyes quickly.

"Are you serious?" Y/n asked. The Daemos (except for Leif) were still trying to process the power that she had. The main thought that stuck in their head was that she sent Pierce flying into the counter with one kick!

"Yeah, I'm serious!" Ava said, "How the heck did he find me? No no no no no! I need to delete the pics before he gets the wrong idea like Mrs. Oats!"

"Wait who won?" Leif asked, Y/n turning to Ava with a questioning look.

"You did okay?" Ava quickly said, earning groans from the other Daemos.

"Haha! I knew I was better than Asch," Leif bragged.

"Okay, all your pics are gone except for mine," Ava said, " Which now has a thousand likes! Haha, Yay!" Y/n's (e/c) eyes softened and a smile graced her lips as she saw how happy Ava was. Little did she know that the other Daemos were observing her intently. Y/n turned to see the Daemos staring at her.

"What?" Y/n asked innocently, making the males turn away, a faint blush creeping onto their faces. Rhys coughed and went to ask Y/n questions.

"Sorceress Y/n?" Rhys asked.

"Yes?" Y/n responded.

"Where did you learn to fight like that? What is a hire-assassin?" Rhys asked, the other Daemos and Ava looking at Y/n for an answer.

"Well, firstly, my dad and mom taught me how to fight and I guess I got really good at it. Second, a hire-assassin is someone who is asked to kill someone for a small fee. Meaning that I get money for killing my targets. I, however, have standards and don't kill children. Some hire-assassins, like myself, are allowed to decline missions if they don't wish to kill that person." Y/n explained.

"But Y/n, why did you tape my mouth and tie my hands with rope?" Ava asked sternly.

"Well, at first, I thought Leif was going to kill you so I took you with me. Then I thought to myself, 'I should get her back to the apartment.' But you kept screaming and kicking because you didn't know it was me. So, to not draw attention, I silenced you with tape and stopped your movements with rope!" Y/n clarified cheerily, earning an impressed look from Leif, a terrified look from Ava, and an interested and shocked look from the other Daemos.

"Anyways, I'll be off now!" Y/n said, making her way to the exit.

"Oh~ no you don't!" Ava said, pulling Y/n back.

"What?" Y/n asked.

"You need to fix this mess," Ava announced.

"What mess?" Y/n asked guiltlessly, twirling a strand of her (h/l), (h/c) hair with her finger.

"WHAT MESS?" Ava shouted at the top of her lungs, making the Daemos cover their ears with their hand as they watched Ava rant at Y/n, "YOU INJURED LEIF, BROKE MY COFFEE TABLE, INJURED PIERCE AND BROKE THE KITCHEN COUNTER! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT MESS?!"

Y/n blinked her eyes before apologizing to Ava and the Daemos for the scare, injuries, and damages. "Okay, I'll fix it but you all have to assemble in Ava's room or the Daemos pocket castle."

"Why?" Asch asked, annoyed that he was being told what to do.

Y/n sent a spine-chilling glare Asch's way, watching his confidence and bravery shrink before continuing, "I am going to use very, very powerful magic that could harm others if they were in the same room. If you do not follow this rule, this could result in death. I, alone, have to be in here for this magic to work." Y/n explained, horrifying the Daemos. The Daemos quickly filed into the Daemos pocket castle.

"Please fix my apartment, Y/n," Ava pleaded.

"I will," Y/n reassured, "You should follow them. They might be suspicious of my quote on quote magic." Ava giggled but nodded and went into the pocket castle.

Y/n took off her blood-stained gloves and looked at her rose-gold bracelet. She closed her eyes and flicked her wrist that was adorned by the bracelet. The bracelet charms glowed and she opened her eyes. Y/n's eyes shone bright white and (f/c). With her other hand, Y/n spoke ancient words and the room was enveloped with a scintillating (sparkling or shining brightly) gold.

When she closed her eyes, the bracelet stopped shining and the glow had disappeared. In place of the light, was Ava's living room. It was fixed. The damages had been fixed. Y/n opened her eyes and gazed upon her hard work. She walked through the wall that was marked by a red rectangle. She was greeted by a large, grand hall with Ava and the Daemos at the center. "I'm done!" Y/n shouted, her voice echoing off the walls of the hall. The Daemos and Ava turned to her in shock.

Ava ran up to Y/n. "How did you do it so quickly?"

"I'm a fast repairer?" Y/n lied as she sweat-dropped. Please, Irene! Please let this girl be dumb!

"Alright then!" Ava said, Y/n sighing in relief. Y/n walked up to the Daemos who were frozen by shock.

"Pierce, Leif, are you guys alright? Do you need any medical help?" Y/n asked, truly worried about these two boys' health.

"We're fine. I healed us both with my healing magic," Leif said. Though Y/n didn't know it, Leif had developed a newfound respect for her.

"Okay, good!" Y/n said, "I am, once again, so so so sorry for hurting and scaring you. That was not my intention." Y/n explained, bowing slightly in apology. The Daemos felt heat rise to their faces.

"It's quite alright!" Rhys spoke, making Y/n return to her standing posture, "In fact, we are to thank you for!"

"T-thank me? But I hurt you!" Y/n stated confused as a confused Ava approached her side.

"Yes, but we learned something new!" Rhys said optimistically.

"We learned to never make you angry!" All the Daemos announced at once. Ava and Y/n stood there shocked for a few moments before bursting out laughing.

"You know what?" Y/n said, gaining the attention of Ava and the Daemos. "Ava how long has it been since we've had a sleepover?"

"Around one and a half years, why?" Ava asked.

"I think I'll sleepover tonight," Y/n said, making Ava squeak in excitement before jumping into her best friend's arms, locking her in a hug.

"Yes! Thank you!" Ava said. Y/n managed to pry herself from Ava. Y/n made her way to Ava's room and changed into something more comfortable while Ava explained what was going on.

Ava said her goodbyes to the boys and walked back into the apartment and into her room to see Y/n on her phone. Ava changed into her pajamas, grabbed her laptop, sat on her bed next to Y/n, opened her laptop, and opened Crunchyroll. Y/n and Ava decided they would watch 'Hunter x Hunter' and they started to watch it. They made it to episode 12 when Ava started to feel tired.

Y/n smiled and closed Ava's laptop. She put the device on the shelves behind her and tucked Av into bed before going to bed herself.

Meanwhile... (In the Daemos Pocket Castle)

"A sleepover?" Noi asked.

"Apparently, Sorceress Y/n will be staying with us tonight," Rhys explained.

"That's the least of our worries right now..." Asch trailed off, earning the other Daemos' attention.

"We now know that Sorceress Y/n is not just any sorceress. She can perform powerful spells that could kill someone. She is also strong enough to bring down Leif and Pierce. Rhys, you said that she seemed intellectual in some way. With this knowledge, it's clear that Sorceress Y/n is a danger to our plan to take over E-Urth," Asch explained, shocking the Daemos at how right he was. Y/n had proved to them that she was not to be messed with; she really could be a threat to their plan.

"Your Majesty, what you say is correct. Perhaps we all should be careful of our actions around her. It would be wise to keep an eye on her as much as we can," Rhys suggested, earning agreeing hums.

"Then it is settled. From here on out, we will be wary of Sorceress Y/n," Asch announced,
