3rd POV

Y/n had just left the building and was walking back to Rhys, who was just standing outside under Y/n's orders. Y/n had delivered the present to Mrs. Oats' grandson. For safety, she left Rhys to wait outside the building worried that Mrs. Oats' grandson would think... ill things.

"Why did I have to wait here?" Rhys asked as Y/n approached him. 

"Because," Y/n began, looking Rhys straight in the eyes," Mrs. Oats' grandchild would think you're my hot boyfriend. It's bad enough that Mrs. Oats thinks that Ava and I are into-" Y/n stopped herself as her face became heated, a rosy blush arriving with it. She looked to the ground to hide her flushed face. "You know what? Nevermind."

Y/n breathed in and out before looking back to Rhys. "I just don't want to burden Ava. She already has a lot on her shoulders so I don't want to be a bother." Y/n explained. Something about her tone and her caring nature had shocked Rhys. 'How-No, why is she so nice? Normally, the inhabitants of daemos would not care about being burdens on others. They normally did what they want, when they wanted. Why are E-Urth humans so different? ' Rhys asked to himself, not wanting to pester the powerful sorceress guiding him. 

Soon enough, Rhys noticed that Y/n had started walking back to the apartment and followed her. "Into?" Rhys asked. 

"It's uh- nothing. Nothing," Y/n chuckled, attempting to brush off the subject. She turned to her left and saw-

"OH! ICE-CREAM TRUCK!" Y/n hollered, running towards the vehicle. However, obstacles appeared in her way. Children. She coughed and composed herself. "Excuse me, could you please move so I could get to the ice-cream truck?" Y/n asked politely. The children smiled and nodded, walking out of the way. "Thank you!" Y/n cheered. ' Those young humans listened to what she said? Does she have control over humans? If she does, then I must report this to prince Asch. ' Rhys noted, slowly following behind the ecstatic sorceress.

"Ah, Y/n, one of my best customers," The ice-cream man said.

"Can I get the Derpy-eyed Munchy Bear Pop?" Y/n asked, stars appearing in her (e/c) eyes.

"Anything for you, Y/n!" The ice-cream man said. 

"Oh! Make it two!" Y/n said. The ice-cream man looked at Y/n confused. "Ava and I made a new friend and I have been taking him out and about," Y/n explained. 

"Wait, wait! You and Ava have a new friend? It's on the house, here!" The ice-cream man announced - the Munchy Bear Pops in his hands

"Oh, shoot, I forgot about money," Y/n mumbled as Rhys approached her side. 

"No, go ahead, take it, on the house. To celebrate this new friend," The ice-cream man insisted. Y/n and Rhys exchanged glances before Y/n grabbed the ice-cream from the man. Y/n thanked him and ushered Rhys to follow her. The pair went to a secluded area with a table and chairs. Y/n handed Rhys one of the cold treats and sat down, Rhys sitting on the opposite chair. 

Rhys looked to the treat in his hand, "What is this?" He asked, squinting his eyes. 

"It's ice-cream! It's even better, now that it's free!" Y/n cheered, a gentle, warm smile gracing her lips. He didn't know what it was but, something about this tall sorceress made the daemos happy. Rhys shook off the feeling and continued to inspect the ice-cream, squinting his eyes to help his vision. 

"I noticed something today," Y/n started, gaining the attention of the daemos, "You squint a lot, huh?"

"Somethings are hard for me to make out," Rhys said. Rhys took a bite of the ice-cream and his eyes sparkled in delight. He quickly finished his ice-cream.

"Wow, you didn't waste anytime there, did you?" Y/n remarked. 

"That was amazing!" Rhys commented, "I've never had anything like it!" 

"Your world is dark and gloomy, huh?" Y/n said, finishing her ice-cream. "Come on, let's go before Ava's apartment, and maybe the entire building, burns down thanks to Asch."

"He would do that, " Rhys said. Y/n chuckled but before she could get up, Rhys did. Rhys stretched his hand out to Y/n so she could grab it. Y/n thought the gesture was cute and took his hand, standing up. The two stared into each other's eyes. Y/n staring into sapphire oceans and Rhys staring into (e/c) pools of joy and kindness. 

Y/n abruptly realized what was going on and went to speak. "W-we should get going now," Y/n stuttered, snapping Rhys out of his vision. Rhys looked at the female's pink-tinted face and chuckled, removing his hand from Y/n's grasp. The pair walked side by side back to the apartment where chaos lay... Waiting...

Rhys and Y/n stepped out of the elevator, smiles on their faces. However, their smiles were quickly slapped off their faces as a crash echoed through the hallway. It came from Ava's apartment. "Oh no..." Y/n muttered before hastily zooming to Ava's apartment with Rhys just behind her.

The felines were meowing and a very familiar male was backed up against the wall by Leif. It was Jake, the Land Lord!

"Ah! Just please don't hurt me!" Jake pleaded, eyes clouded with fear.

"Quiet, Human Lord!" Asch commanded, "We know Ava and Y/n sent you in to kill us!"

"N-no! Guys, stop!" Ava tried to reason but the Daemos didn't listen. Just then, Y/n and Rhys came into view. Y/n's eyes widened as she looked at Ava, wanting an insight into the situation.

"I have no idea what you're talking about!" Jake said trembling. At this point, the daemos noticed the arrival of the tall sorceress.

"This human came and snuck in," Pierce explained.

"Was this a betrayal?" Asch asked.

"I was with her the whole time, Your Majesty. She did not once call in reinforcements!" Rhys defended, making Y/n smile at his honesty and heart.

"That's right! I-" Y/n got a glimpse of the intruder. "Wait, Jake? How did you get into Ava's apartment?" Leif took a step back and let Jake walk to be face to face with Y/n. Truth be told, Jake was terrified of Y/n. When Y/n was mad, he would want to run to his mum's and hide. Why? Because when Y/n's angry, she tends to be... aggressive. One time, she got so mad that she punched a hole in the wall. 

"I'm the Landlord and well, I got worried when Mrs. Oats-" Jake explained.

"Oh my-" Ava said.

"Guys, can you do something with your magic to make him forget?" Y/n asked in a panic. 

"Leave it to me," Leif said, going behind Jake. In one swing, Jake was knocked out cold. Y/n let out a sigh of relief while Ava went into a panic.

"What did you-" Ava started.

"He's out," Pierce clarified. 

"Phew! Good job, Leif!" Noi congratulated. Y/n smiled for a second before realizing the seriousness of the situation. 

"Heh, I try," Leif boasted. 

"Quick! Put on your human clothes," Ava shouted.

"And get rid of your horns before he wakes up!" Y/n finished.

"How?" Noi asked. Oh, My Irene! A cinnamon roll! (Insert 'Deku Heart Squeeze' meme)

"The way you would with your daemos clothes!" Ava said, snapping Y/n back to reality.

"Really, I thought there'd be more to it than-" Leif commented.

"Quick, do it!" Ava demanded.

"Wait, Ava, I think you need to be more specifi-" Y/n started but it was a little too late for that. The daemos started to take off their shirts, apart from Pierce - he managed to take off his undershirt. The females' faces flushed 50 shades of pink. "Not here, idiots!" Y/n yelled. The daemos put their clothes on, except for Pierce. Jake had begun to stir. They didn't have much time.

"Oh no, ah- um- uh-" Ava didn't know what to do. Y/n stepped in. 

"Ava, go to your room and calm down," Y/n said. Ava did as told. "Pierce, help me to the outside door, quick!"

"M-my name," Pierce stuttered in shock. 

"Just help me!" Y/n instructed. Pierce ran over to Y/n and picked her up. "Not me, Jake! You know what? You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Pierce, please put me down." Pierce placed Y/n back on her own two feet. Y/n walked to Jake and took a deep breath before picking up Jake with ease. The daemos were shocked. ' How can she do that? How strong is she? ' 

Y/n carried Jake out of the apartment and placed him on the floor outside the apartment door. "Guys, go into the living room and don't leave the apartment, is that understood?" Y/n said, her tone stern and menacing. The daemos shivered but quickly nodded, scurrying towards the living room. Y/n closed the doors to Ava's apartment and knelt to Jake's level.

After a while, Jake woke up and saw Y/n. He sat up. "Jake, are you alright? I am so sorry," Y/n apologized, "I opened the door and it slammed right into you!"

"Wait, it did?" Jake asked. 

"Yes, I'm so sorry!" Y/n said.

"But the demons in Ava's apartment and I went in, didn't I?" Jake asked.

"Huh? No, but it did sound like you were having a bad dream," Y/n said before lowering her head. She lifted her head, a threatening expression spread across her (s/t) face. 

"But you wouldn't enter my best friend's apartment without her or my permission, right?" Y/n said, tilting her head to the side, a scary, lop-sided grin tugging at her lips. Her (h/c) bangs hung on either side of her head. Jake was terrified. 

"O-of course not, Y/n! I-I'd n-never!" Jake stuttered, quickly standing up. Y/n looked down and looked back up, her expression turning back to normal. 

"Good~ Now you run back home and rest! After getting hit like that, I think you should lay down," Y/n advised. Jake nodded and ran back to his apartment. Y/n walked back into the apartment, closing the door behind her. When she walked to the living room, she saw Ava handing Leif a remote. The other daemos were sitting patiently on the couch.

"What's this?" Leif asked.

"A remote control. Turn the TV and learn some actual human manners. And please, put on your clothes," Ava said before walking off into her bedroom. 

"Was she mad at us?" Noi asked innocently.

"Yes, I'm sure but now let me tell you all about ice-cream!" Rhys announced cheerily. Y/n giggled at his enthusiasm. The daemos looked her way. Y/n walked up to the couch and sat on the arm of the couch.

"Well, I'm gonna have to leave back to my apartment but I can stay for a little. And, if you want, I can bring one of you with me to my apartment?" Y/n suggested. The daemos' eyes sparkled in excitement. (The following are each of Daemos' thoughts)

Noi

' Whoa! A chance to see Sorceress Y/n's home? She's so powerful! Maybe she can teach me how to be stronger! '

Rhys

' Sorceress Y/n is inviting us to her living accommodations? Maybe I can discover find her source of power and bring it to Prince? I can't pass this opportunity up! '

Pierce

' Perhaps we could discover her source of power? Sorceress Y/n is an extremely strong sorceress so her source of power could be worth value. '

Asch

' She's allowing us to tour her accommodations? It could be a trap! But if we find her source of power, we could be unstoppable! '

Leif

' If I go with her, then I'll be able to kill her without anyone knowing! Haha! The perfect assassination! '

"Uhh... Guys?" Y/n said, grasping the daemos from their thoughts, "I just remembered that Ava would never order me free pizza if I take you out of the apartment at this time so... Sorry," Y/n apologized, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. Just as Asch was about to yell, Rhys spoke first.

"It's quite alright! You have done a lot for us already. I, personally, think it would be good for you to go back to your 'a-part-a-ment' and rest." Rhys insisted, standing up and walking in front of Y/n. Rhys gave a gentle, warm smile to Y/n just like you did to him when you were enjoying ice-cream together. Y/n felt her face heat up but kept a smile on her face. Y/n hugged Rhys.

Rhys was, at first, confused at the action but soon felt the need to return it. So he did. Rhys felt heat collect on his face but he didn't understand it. The two shared a hug for a moment before they separated. Just as Rhys was about to ask about the action, Y/n answered it.

"That was a hug!" Y/n said, "I don't have much time so I'll explain it tomorrow, okay?" Y/n smiled, said her goodbyes, and left, leaving the daemos dumbfounded.

Meanwhile, with Y/n...

Y/n entered her apartment and changed her into her pajamas. 

(You decide: Shorts or long pants?) 

God... Irene... What did I do? What did I do to deserve such nice 'captors'? Y/n thought as she plopped herself on her bed. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. 

Meanwhile, with the Daemos...

"Uhh- what just happened?" Noi asked.

"I-I-I don't know..." Rhys responded, still flustered. Rhys sat back down and started to explain the concept of ice-cream. The other daemos didn't understand it but there was a pain in their chest when Y/n had hugged Rhys. They shook off the feeling and listened intently to Rhys' discovery. ' What are these feelings? ' The daemos asked themselves.

' And why do I feel them with...

Her? '
