"What are you making, Y/n?"  A voice came from behind me. In front of me was a tray filled with cookies. In my (d/h) hand was a bag filled with what seemed to be icing. I felt my head turn to the source of the noise. 

There stood a young boy. He had salmon-pink hair and orange-topaz for eyes. He looked a lot like Noi but with no horns. "I'm making colkies (daemos word for cookies) for everyone," I responded happily. Sparkles erupted in the boy's eyes as he watched my smooth movements of icing. 

"Can I help?" the Noi look-a-like asked eagerly. I thought for a moment, letting a hum escape my mouth. My head nodded, earning a childish smile and cheer from the boy.  We both worked on the colkies- I mean cookies together. When we finished, we laughed together because the Noi look-a-like got icing on his nose. He wiped the icing off and ate it. "We should make more treats together, N/n!" The boy said, excitement radiating off him. I giggled at his reaction.

"Then we will." I agreed. I heard a voice calling me.

 "Sorry, ñ̸̨̧̧̛̪̞̪̦͕̖̠̫͚͕̺̯͈̱̎͌͌̇̔͋̋̀̔̇̓͐͑͌̂́̒̿͘ͅͅo̷̡̳̞̫̱̝̣̜̞̝̫̦̍͛́̈́̍̀͛̚͠į̸̞͉̙̏̈́̔͐̃̈́͜͝! I have to go."  What the? Why did the name go fuzzy? 

"It's fine, Y/n!" The boy said, in a still cheery mood. "Just promise, next time we see each other, we'll make colkies and other treats." He put his pinky out in front of me. I smiled widely and hooked my pinky with the boy's.

My eyes opened to a white ceiling. I woke up with my forehead covered in sweat. I looked to my left and saw my phone lighting up and beeping like crazy! I stretched my arm to grab my phone.

I put my phone down on my side table and stood up. 'Ava needs me asap. So I think I'll use magic for this one.' I thought to myself. I put on my rose-gold bracelet and flicked my wrist. My body was enveloped by an angelic white as my clothing transformed from pajamas to...

Once I was in my outfit, I left my apartment after locking the door. I bolted down the stairs and opened the door to Ava's apartment. I just opened it because his Royal Highness melted the lock off the door! 

"Ava! I'm here!" I called out. Ava ran into me and gave me a big hug. She continued to thank me as I hugged back. "Okay, okay. Calm down! Now, what's the situation?" 

Ava nodded and began to explain that they had to get human clothes so that they could blend in with society. Ava would have done it but she said that she was too much of an introvert to do so. She was also terrified she would run into her dads, her highschool "friends" or worse... Lorelai. So she assigned me the task of taking the boys out for clothing. 

I facepalmed, "Ava, how in the world do you get into these situations?" Ava just smiled and laughed nervously. She rubbed the back of her head.

"I-I'm sorry. Just please don't get mad at me?" Ava asked. More like begged. I groaned as I reluctantly agreed. Ava led me to the Daemos that were going to stay with Ava. "Okay, guys! Y/n has agreed to take you out to get human clothes. So run along!" Ava said joyously. 

Asch grumbled and said, "Lief, Rhys, you two stay back and make these living accommodations more suitable for us. Rhys agreed but Lief questioned Asch.

"What? Why me?"

"Because you went against what I said earlier," Asch said angrily. 'What are they talking about? What plan are they devising?" I thought but quickly shook the thought from my mind. 

"Hey! I was just kinda-sorta- playing around, okay?" Leif countered in a not-so confident tone. 

"Stay," Asch commanded before turning his attention to Rhys, "Rhys, you know what to do." 

"Of course," Rhys responded. I groaned and told the Daemos to hurry up. Noi, Asch, and Pierce followed after me.

3rd Pov

Asch, Noi, Pierce, and Y/n had arrived at the mall. "This is a mall," Y/n explained in a mystical sorceress tone, "Humans come here to gather casting supplies to make our homes more comfortable."

"A mall!" Noi repeated, amazed at the glory of the mall. His expression reminded Y/n much of the Noi look-a-like in her dreams, which caused her to giggle. 

"It's a really cool one too!" Y/n exclaimed, "Because it has my two favorite stores." 

"A convenient store! "

"And a Thrift store!" 

"They're the only ones I go to because I want to save money and help Ava pursue her future!" Y/n said, grinning from ear to ear. Noi and Pierce were taken aback by her smile because it reminded them of someone special. 

"How does this help?" Asch asked puzzled. 

"Oh Easy! We're going to get you human clothes here!" Y/n explained.

"Those female humans, over there, are trying to use their blinding magic on us again," Pierce said, making the other three look to where his gaze was. 

"Oh, those are the con-goers that Ava summoned. They probably think you guys are cosplaying which actually works in our favor because, now that I think about it, I'm not sure how we're going to address the horns."

"Oh my god, Y/n!" 

"Oh no...' Y/n muttered. The one person I did not want to see today.

"Y/n, it is you!" Lorelai exclaimed, making Y/n turnaround. "Oh my gosh! I thought you were busy this week!" Y/n laughed and started to speak.

"Same to you! Ava told me you were going to the convention or something like that!" Y/n said.

"Oh, I am! I just stopped by the thrift store to buy a sewing kit. I had a little cosplay accident." Lorelai enlightened before immediately switching the subject, "Now that you're here we can go to the con together!"

"Yeah... About that... See I can't," Y/n started, "Because I'm sick! Cough! Cough!"

"Did you just verbally cough?"

"Yes?" Lorelai stared Y/n down. Well, tried to. Y/n was too tall for Lorelai to look intimidating but, with the situation at hand, she was intimidating. After a long staredown, Lorelai fell for it.

"Aw! Well, I'm sorry you aren't feeling better." Lorelai sympathized. Y/n let out a sigh of relief. "You know, next time, you totally need to come with me and my friends. We'd love to have you around and-" 

"Enough chatter!"' Asch interrupted, turning the two females' attention to him. "We must-"

"You're hot." Lorelai blurted out. Asch was confused. "And your costume!"

Y/n let out a quiet 'Oh no. Here we' before Lorelai squealed.  "Your costume is so cool!" Lorelai continued, "All so cool! Y/n, are these some of your friends?" 

"I mean- Yeah? I guess you could say that." Y/n said, rubbing the back of her neck. 

"Enough talk! We need the-" Asch began but was quickly silenced when Y/n put her right hand over his mouth. 

"Hey, Lorelai! I won't go to the convention with you and I'll probably continue to ignore you after this but do you think you can help me pick out five outfits for guys? " Y/n said, stepping in front of Asch after removing her hands from his mouth.

"For what?" Lorelai interrogated.

"Well, I'm having my friends stay at my place for the con and they came to town for it but the airline lost their suitcases so they don't have any clothes. So I'm helping." Y/n explained, giving a nervous chuckle at the end.  After another staredown, Lorelai complied. 

"Well, why didn't you just say so?" Lorelai said. Y/n let out another sigh of relief. "Though, real talk, your friends are really hot."

Y/n turned to face the males. "Meh, they're okay," Y/n said, earning a glare from Lorelai.

"We'll talk about your standards later. Now, leave it to me! I can help you!" Lorelai said cheerily.

Noi whispered to Pierce, "Should we take that one prisoner too?" Pierce just shrugged his shoulders and hummed in response. 

After a shopping rampage, the total was $149.51. This didn't bother Y/n because she had a well-paying job.  "Sorry, it was so short. I've gotta run but do tell Ava that we should all hang out sometime. Also, make sure she answers my calls!" Lorelai said before running off.

"Oh, yeah! Sure~" Y/n said, "Not." I might actually think about it, Lorelai. Y/n thought to herself, letting a smirk grace her lips.

"Should we have spoken to that other female sorcerer who just left?" Noi asked.

"No, the female humans we already have are annoying as is. I don't wanna keep another." Asch complained. 

"Oh, that's right! I've gotta get groceries!" Y/n said, bolting off to the grocery store. All was going well until Y/n had to pick between 'Yum Yums' for Johnny and 'Munchies Crunchies' for Ava. 

"Are we just going to watch her without talking?" Noi asked. 

"I'm trying to do as Rhys does and observe. " Asch scolded.

"You're quiet." Pierce said, "It's nice."

"What does that mean?" Asch retorted. 

"That's it! I am going to get the Yum Yums for Johnny! Ava is just going to have to deal with no cereal and she will have to learn how to cook." Y/n decided, putting the cereal box back. Although she really wanted Ava to be happy with her Munchies Crunchies, Ava could eat other foods but Johnny was a picky eater so Y/n didn't have much choice. 

Y/n turned to face the males. "Can you guys not stare all weirdly? It's weird." Y/n said sassily. 

"Huh? How?" Noi asked. 

"Oh, that's right! You guys don't have any manners down." Y/n remembered. "This was fun at first but now I- *sigh* you know what? Let's check out and go back to Ava's. I think that's enough adventure for one day." 

"But what about these clothes?" Asch asked impatiently. 

"You guys can try them on tomorrow! As I said, this weekend is perfect to get you guys out for now. After this weekend, people won't assume you're weird cosplayers, they'll just assume that you're normally weird like Ava and me."

"Fine," Asch said, "Then take us home, Sorcerer." 

Y/n huffed. "You don't command me! I'll leave when I want." Then, they stood there for three extra seconds. "Okay, we can go now!"  Y/n turned around and faced the Munchies Crunchies display. Her expression shifted to a sad one. "I'm sorry, Ava."

Asch and Noi followed Y/n to the checkout. Pierce looked back to the Munchies Crunchies display and looked back to the direction that the other three went.

When the four got back to Ava's apartment, they set everything down in the hallway in front of the apartment entrance. "Ava! We're back!" Y/n yelled, making the daemos wince. 

Y/n walked to Ava's bedroom and saw her asleep. Y/n knew what to do. She connected her phone to the speakers in Ava's room and ran into the kitchen. She grabbed to two biggest pans she could find. The three daemos looked at the female intrigued. Just as Y/n was about to enter Ava's room, Rhys and Leif came out of the wall. Rhys was about to speak but Y/n spoke before him. "Before you start, let me show you what happens when I catch Ava sleeping instead of doing what she is meant to be doing." Y/n insisted. This caught all the daemos' attention. They all watched as Y/n stepped into Ava's bedroom. Y/n gestured to the boys to come in so they did. 

They watched Y/n go on her phone and found the soundtrack. Once she was ready, she pressed play...

Y/n sang along to this song. The first clang was enough to knock Ava off her bed. After the song ended, Y/n was laughing her ass off! The Daemos were shocked. Leif and Noi were laughing. Pierce and Rhys were chuckling while Asch did his best to maintain his composure even though (on the inside) Asch thought that Ava's fate was hilarious. 

"And that boys! Is how you wake up someone like Ava!" Y/n said through laughter, taking a bow. This infuriated Ava. Ava stood up and started to chase Y/n around the house.

"GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE YOU IDIOT! IMA KILL YOU!" Ava screamed. Y/n just continued to laugh as she jumped over counters and couches.

"Rule Number 2, boys! If you ever wake Ava up, make sure you don't get caught!" Y/n advised, still running. Ava almost tackled Y/n until the escaping female moved to her right, resulting in Ava's face planting into the ground. Y/n laughed even harder. "Oh, how I love laughing at other people's pain!" 

"Y/n!" Ava said annoyed. 

"Sorry! Sorry!" Y/n said before coughing, "Anyways, Rhys, Lief you wanted to show us something." The Daemos stared at the females in utter shock. Was this how they acted every day?  Rhys was the first to break everyone from their train of thought. 

"Well, um, we set up our living accommodations. Right, this way." Rhys said before taking Y/n's hand. Y/n tensed at the sudden action but went with it. Rhys led Y/n and the others through the wall and they appeared in a majestic hall. 

It had quartz flooring with a red carpet running through the middle. There were fountains in every corner and statutes of warriors. Hanging from the ceiling were gold and silver chandeliers. Not only that but there was a second floor. The pillars and walls were painted varying shades of green, yellow, grey, brown, and blue.  It truly looked like it was meant for royalty. Y/n and Ava's eyes widened. "Oh my God!" Y/n shouted in pure amazement. "This place is..."

Y/n turned to her companions, showing the gleams of awe in her eyes. "It's amazing! Rhys, you did an amazing job!" Y/n said, running up to Rhys and hugging him. Rhys' face was coated by a thin shade of pink. He was flustered and embarrassed - at both the compliments and the hug. 

"T-thank you, Y/n," Rhys stuttered out as Y/n let him out of her grip. "I had to use quite a bit of my magic so I have to use the rest wisely."

"It's perfect," Asch commented. 

"Wait..." Y/n trailed off, gaining the daemos' attention. "Was Asch being nice just now or was I hallucinating?" Every daemos except Asch had begun to laugh. 

"Silence!" Asch demanded, making everyone quiet. 

"Killjoy," Y/n said. Everyone heard a thud from the entrance to the grand hall, everyone's attention drawing to its source. Ava fainted. Again.

Y/n facepalmed. "Oh no. Not again!" Rhys said. 

"Okay... Boys, please pick Ava up and put her on one of the couches over there. She'll wake up soon enough." Y/n said.

"Can't you do your sacred dance with those weapons?" Noi asked. 

"Sacred dance? Oh! You mean the one with the pans?" Y/n asked, receiving a nod from Noi. All the daemos looked to Y/n. "Sadly, that won't work. When she faints, she has to wake up on her own." 

"Which is in...

1!"

Then a gasp was heard from the couch. The Daemos looked shocked at how perfect the timing was. It was too perfect so they assumed it was magic!

"What type of magic is that?" Rhys asked inquisitively. 

"I'll tell you later, Rhys," Y/n reassured. Rhys nodded in agreement and followed Y/n who had sat next to Ava on the couch. 

"This isn't a dream still!" Ava whined, receiving a smack along the back of the head from Y/n. This surprised the Daemos. They didn't take Y/n for being violent. Leif had a smirk across his face when Ava was smacked. "Ow! What the hell, N/n!" 

Y/n grabbed Ava's cheeks so Ava would stare her straight in the eyes. "Get a grip on reality. This isn't a dream!" Y/n said. "If you don't believe me..." Y/n lowered her head. After a second, she reconnected her eyes with Ava's. What Ava and the boys saw terrified them...

(A KAREN! No no. I'm just kidding! Carry on!)

A creepy smirk appeared on her face and her eyes screamed danger. "I'd be happy to give you evidence and make you believe me..." Y/n voice was deep and malicious sounding, sending shivers down everyone's spines, even Pierce. "Okay?"

"Y-yes!" Ava squeaked. Y/n let go of Ava's face, Y/n's expression returning to the normal cheery one it was before.

"Good~!" Y/n cooed. 

"I swear to God, you are bipolar..." Ava mumbled.

"What was that, Ava darling?"

"N-nothing, Y/n Darling." Ava stuttered, making it obvious she was both terrified and upset.

"Maybe this will help you," Pierce said, walking forward. Once he reached Ava, he pulled out a Munchies Crunchies box. Ava's eyes widen in joy whereas Y/n's widen in shock. Ava was so happy, she just ran out of the pocket dimension.

"W-where did you get that?" Y/n asked worriedly. 

"I took it," Pierce answered.

"Without paying?"

"Paying?"

"Ugh! You know what? It's fine." Y/n compromised, looking to where Ava ran out of, "You made Ava happy." Y/n returned her gaze to Pierce. "That's all I really wanted. Thank you! You're extremely kind!" Y/n gave Pierce a big warm smile, to which Pierce returned a small smile. Y/n looked down at her watch. 

"Would you look at that? It has got so late! I have to go back to my apartment now." Y/n said, making her way towards the exit. 

"What?" The Daemos asked panicked. 

"I have to go back to my apartment! But I'll be back tomorrow, I promise!" Y/n said, her radiating smile reminding four daemos of their childhood friend.  Y/n left the pocket dimension and left the apartment after saying goodbye to Ava. Y/n walked into her apartment, locked the door, and used her magic to change out of her clothing and into her pajamas. 

The daemos aren't that bad... People just need to get to know them. Y/n thought, a smile gracing her lips once more. Before she knew it, Y/n drifted off to sleep not knowing that tomorrow would be another event day. An embarrassing one at that.
