Leif Pov
That taller human female seemed to be crying? But she was laughing too? Why was she laughing when we have their source of power?
Humans in this world are confusing.
3rd Pov
"Wow," the orange cosplayer said, clearly interested by the garments. The orange cosplayer's reaction only made Y/n laugh harder. "What's that?"
"These humans are sorcerers," Asch announced, handing a magazine to the purple-robed male. "Rhys, here." It was a bra magazine. The so-called Rhys grabbed the magazine and had begun to flip through its pages.
"Fascinating," Rhys said, "It seems like a combat guide. It shows human females engaging in a fierce battle with these garments." Y/n's face was red with laughter; she couldn't believe her ears. A bra magazine as a combat guide? That was not something you hear every day.
"That doesn't look like any form of combat I've seen," Lief commented, unsure of what was happening. Ava had had enough of this crazy talk. She kicked Y/n telling her that she was about to do something. Intrigued, Y/n quickly stood up. Ava, then, threw the frying pan she was holding. Asch sensed something coming from the direction of the pan and turned his head. He had turned it just enough so that the pan would smack him perfectly in the face.
Y/n's expression contorted into an impressed one for a split second before she felt a hand grab hers. It was Ava. She grasped her hand and dragged her to the door. Halfway to the door, she realized what was going on and started to run herself. Ava was screaming as they both attempted to make their way to the exit.
The light-blue-horned cosplayer and the orange cosplayer set off after them. The light-blue-horned male grabbed Ava and held her captive. Meanwhile, Y/n was still sprinting towards the door. She, however, was captured by the orange cosplayer. Ava continued to scream while Y/n tried to find an escape route; her captor's grip was like iron!
"Lief, make peace with them," Rhys ordered. Lief nodded and went to converse with the humans.
"Let's just kill them and-" But Asch was interrupted by Rhys.
"Your Majesty, you said you wanted a prisoner, an informant if I do recall," Rhys reasoned.
"Firstly, there are two - we only need one. We can kill off the other one if need be." Asch clarified, "Secondly, these ones are too powerful of sorcerers. The small one is annoying too."
"True, but that could work in our favor." Rhys countered. "Realistically, we'll go through this kind of resistance with every other human we encounter. Just let Lief work his charm."
Lief approached Ava first. "It's okay, calm down. We're not going to hurt you." Ava continued to scream; Y/n struggled to find a way out of her captor's hold. "Hey, hey, hey! Look at me," Lief said as Ava turned her attention to him. Then he smiled, showing off his sharp, dagger-like teeth.
"AH! HE'S GOT TEETH!" Ava hollered, her volume increasing to a new maximum.
"AVA!" Y/n shouted, putting all her strength into getting out of her captor's grip so she could save Ava. "Let me go! I'll rip your heads off if you even DARE to hurt her!" The cosplayers looked at her; their expressions clearly showed that they were shocked at how vicious she got.
"Lief, try and calm that human down," Rhys said before turning his attention to the light-blue-horned male, "Pierce, she's going to alert the other E-Urth residents. Calm her down now." The so-called Pierce put his hand on Ava's mouth, muffling her screams.
"Good job, Pierce!" The orange cosplayer said, taking short pauses because he was struggling to hold Y/n down. "Although, it would be helpful if you guys helped me with this human. She seems very hostile if we threaten the other human also, as much as I am ashamed to say this, she's hard to hold down." Rhys looked to Lief, Lief nodding in agreement to something.
Lief walked up to you and started to speak. "Hey, we are not going to hurt you or your friend. Calm dow-" But Leif was interrupted by Y/n kicking her foot up and it hitting Leif in the chin. This sudden action caused Leif to stumble back and the other males to gasp.
"Let my friend go, you bastards!" Y/n shouted, anger dripping off her every word. Leif pulled out his sickles, ready to attack Y/n until Rhys stepped in.
"Leif put your weapons away," Rhys demanded. Following orders, Lief put away his sickles, still glaring at Y/n for the kick in the chin. Despite the situation, non of this alarmed the female. She was too occupied worrying for Ava. "It seems the taller human knows defense and is smart enough to know when our guard is down. She may be of good use to us."
Y/n rolled her eyes. "I'm right here, you know? Also, this is not my apartment! This is Ava's apartment!" Y/n clarified. Rhys turned to Ava.
"The noise is still unbearable," Asch complained, "I'll shut her up. We have the other one anyway." Asch raised his hand, a flame already ignited and ready to fire. Y/n glared at Asch, now trying doubly harder on getting out of the cosplayer's grasp.
"Asch! Stop!" Rhys interfered, making Asch's flame die; the hand holding it going down as well. "We need them to trust us. Hurting them isn't going to help us." Y/n's (e/c) eyes softened at this. So he's the brains and peacemaker of the group, huh?
"We'll just wait for her to stop, which should be any moment now," Rhys said. Y/n huffed. They clearly don't know what they're getting into right now. Oh well, not my fault.
"Guys! The human stopped struggling!" The orange cosplayer had said excitedly. Asch walked towards Y/n. He started speaking; Y/n turned her head away from him. Asch was about to get mad when Rhys put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Asch stepped back as Rhys took his place in front of the human. Y/n turned her head to Rhys.
"Human, are you willing to co-operate with us?" Rhys asked in a gentle yet assertive tone. Y/n stayed silent for a moment.
"Fine, but only if you don't hurt Ava!" Y/n warned, looking to every male. They all nodded - Asch hesitantly nodded - and the orange cosplayer let you go.
"Tell us, Human Sorcerer, how do we silence your companion?" Rhys questioned. Y/n cocked her eyebrows while thinking for a second. She then turned to Ava and gave her a mischievous grin. Ava continued to scream but winked at you; she understood your plan from the moment you gave her that grin.
"Well, all you have to do is wait until she stops screaming. Easy as that!" Y/n said in a joyful tone. Y/n led them to the living room before going to sit on the kitchen countertop. She chuckled to herself quietly, 'Here we go!'
(Time skip brought to you by Pierce's Legendary Head Pats)
Well, it had been 3 hours. Ava was still screaming. During these three hours, Y/n found out that the orange cosplayer's name was Noi. On the couch was Prince Asch. On a chair was Rhys. Banging his head against the wall was Noi. On the floor was Lief. The person holding Ava was Pierce. It was honestly a funny scene - seeing these males get irritated by Ava's screaming even though it was perfectly normal for Y/n.
"WHY IS THIS DAY TAKING FOREVER?" Leif complained.
Noi turned away from the wall, giving the look of someone who got so hungover that they looked brain dead. "I can't take it anymore! Make her stop!" Noi whined.
"Just kill her!" Asch said impatiently. This gained every males' attention. Just as Asch was about to threaten Ava, Rhys stood up.
"Let me try something," Rhys announced.
"We've tried nothing. What's worse is that we're all out of ideas." Asch said in a toneless voice.
"I have an idea." Rhys said plainly.
"You couldn't have had one sooner?" Noi complained, receiving a 'silence' from Rhys. Rhys stepped forward and began to speak.
"Human!" He exclaimed. When Ava didn't stop, Rhys clapped his hands to gain her attention. It worked. Every male was shocked.
"That worked?" Noi asked.
"Why didn't you try that sooner?" Lief asked, annoyed at Rhys.
"I didn't think a pet command gesture would work." Rhys defended. Then there was clapping. Everyone turned to the sound of the clapping. It was Y/n except for the fact she had headphones on. She jumped down from the kitchen counter and walked to the cosplayers.
"You finally figured it out, huh?" Y/n said, smirking immensely. This angered both Leif and Asch; Leif was first to speak. I say speak but his response wasn't calm enough to be called that...
"YOU KNEW HOW TO STOP HER FROM SCREAMING?! AND YOU DID NOTHING?!" Leif yelled, steaming coming out of his ears. Y/n chuckled at his reaction, still retaining that smirk.
"Anyways, you all are getting off track! You need to speak to Ava. Not me!" Y/n said, turning to go sit on the couch. Asch gave her a menacing look but was surprised when she didn't react. This sorcerer is interesting... Very interesting...
"Humans, please forgive our intrusion but we wish to speak with you. If we let you move, will you please not scream? We promise we won't hurt you." Rhys explained.
"No, we don't." Asch grumbled silently. Y/n heard this and sent an intimidating glare to Asch. Asch was thrown off by this but kept his composure. Ava slowly nodded.
"Good. Alright, Pierce, let her go." Rhys commanded. Pierce did as he was told. Ava took a few steps forward, turned around, and stared at Pierce. Pierce patted Ava's head. Ava then turned to Y/n and gave her a nod. Y/n got up from the couch and walked over to Ava's side.
"Umm. What the hell are you guys?" Ava stuttered out, still shook from the previous events.
"That doesn't matter. Now tell us about your world or we'll-" Asch began but was quickly interrupted by Rhys.
"Your Majesty!" Asch stopped using his magic as he ceased to cause harm to Y/n and Ava.
"Wait! So that fire magic stuff I saw before was real?" Ava asked, pissing Y/n off.
"Yes," Rhys said, gaining Ava and Y/n's attention. "Allow me to explain. We are from another world and go by the name Daemos. "
"Your name is Daemos?" Ava asked.
"No, we are Daemos."
"You're all named Daemos?"
"No, my name is Rhys an-"
"Your world is Rhys?" Y/n smacked the back of Ava's head so she would shut up.
"Ava, please!" Y/n pleaded, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Ava. Their world is called Daemos and their species goes by the same name. Like how our species is called Humans. Did that get through your thick skull?" After gaining an 'Ohhhh' from Ava, you turned your attention back to Rhys. "You may continue," Y/n said while bowing to Rhys.
Rhys became flustered at this and a faint shade of pink coated his face. He coughed to regain his composure and continued, "T-thank you. Anyway, we are from another world. Our home is... being threatened by a-a horrible monster that threatens to engulf everything we care about."
"What?" Ava commented. Y/n felt guilty for these Daemos.
"Yes, that's right." Rhys continued further. "So we have come to E-Urth to learn about. To discover if this world is suitable enough to move our people here."
"Move your people here?" Y/n repeated, propping her chin on her knuckles. To her right, Y/n could hear whispering but was not sure what it was about. She shook off the feeling and continued to ponder the situation at hand.
"We truly have no idea where we are in this world or even how to begin living in it. So please, can powerful sorcerers such as yourselves help us?" Rhys requested, kneeling on one knee. Pierce, Noi, Leif, and even Johnny kneeled to Ava and Y/n. Ava's face burnt bright red whilst Y/n's face retained a pale pink color. Ava started to laugh to herself.
"One second," Ava said, excusing herself to the bathroom, leaving Y/n with the Daemos. Y/n took a deep breath and her nerves calmed. The Daemos stood up fully and watched Ava go around the corner to the bathroom.
"Why is she going to the death room?" Leif asked worriedly.
"Perhaps to make communication," Rhys reasoned. Y/n grinned at their stupidity.
"B-b-but what if she alerts the other-" Noi started but was interrupted by Rhys.
"Patience, Noi. We need to give her our trust before we can earn it ourselves." Rhys explained. Rhys noticed Y/n was leaning back against the wall with her arm crossed in front of her chest. "Human Sorcerer, shouldn't you go with her?" Y/n opened her right eye and looked to the source of the voice. Seeing that it was Rhys, she stood up straight and began to make conversation.
"Well, this is her apartment. So it really is her decision, not mine." Y/n explained, "Plus, she needs alone time to process things. It's something that's just... HER I guess." Rhys was truly intrigued by Y/n's wisdom. How could someone be so wise? She must be a very powerful sorcerer!
"Enough talk!" Asch said. "Let's wait outside this death room and wait for the small human sorcerer's answer."
"Yeah... About that," Y/n began, gaining the attention of the Daemos, "I have to go to my apartment which is not this one so I have to leave." Y/n started to make her way to the door only to be stopped by Leif.
"You're not going anywhere," Leif said, giving Y/n a sadistic smile. Y/n facepalmed and pushed past Leif.
"Human Sorcerer! Come back here now!" Asch's voice echoed. Y/n was at the foot of the stairs when she turned her head to Ava's apartment entrance. There stood the Daemos, waiting for her to come back.
"I don't think so, you son of a bitch!" Y/n called, sticking her tongue out at them. She bolted up the stairs to her apartment and locked the door. Y/n put her back against the door, taking a deep breath.
Y/n walked to her room and changed into her pajamas.
(You can change the color if you want)
She then plopped herself on her bed and got on to her phone. She started to text Ava.
You
Text me your answer. About the Daemos. If you want, I can come by tomorrow? Okay?
Sent: 7:00pm
Y/n let out a heavy sigh. "Oh please, God. Have mercy on Ava. She has enough problems already." With that, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
