3rd POV

Well, let's recap! Ava and Y/n's parents had walked right into the living room and saw them sitting on a couch with hot demon- I mean Daemos boys behind them. The females are panicking and the Daemos don't know who the grown-ups are.

"T-this isn't what it looks like!" Ava stuttered, her face enveloped in shock. Devon, Andrew, Cleo, and Leon first took notice of the camera placed in front of them. They ran up to the camera.

"I told you they were making videos!" Devon announced. Andrew picked up the camera and threw it to the side. Y/n mumbled, "The camera..."

Leo, Cleo, and Devon ran up to Ava and Y/n, pulling them close and backing away from the boys. "Get away from our baby and Ava!" Cleo commanded.

"You demons! She's our sweet, innocent baby girl! And Y/n is our innocent crime-fighter! Do you not have a sense of moral responsibility?" Devon shouted.

"We aren't demons, we're Daemos!" Leif protested.

"Don't just yell that out loud!" Y/n scolded, getting out of her mother's grip with ease.

"I'm calling the police!" Leon announced, holding his phone in hand.

"No, guys! Please let us explain!" Ava begged, her and Y/n at the mercy of their parents.

"Ava, you don't have to resort to this! You could have asked for Y/n's help! Or-" Cleo gasped, turning her attention to Y/n and glaring at her, "Is she not helping you? You little brat! I didn't raise you like this! You should know better than to not help your best friend- no- SISTER, Ava!" Cleo grabbed Y/n by the ear and pulled incredibly hard. Y/n thought her ear would be pulled clean off! Cleo turned to Leon who was about to call the police. "Did you teach her this?"

"No, mom! It's not like that! Please let us expla-" Y/n started.

"I don't want to hear it! What else have you not done for Ava, huh? Have you not helped pay her bills? Get her food? I raised you better," Cleo continued to rant, not noticing the tears in her daughter's eyes. Ava, however, noticed. Her eyes widened in shock.

Ava ripped herself from Devon's grip and put a hand on Cleo's shoulder. "Aunt Cleo! Please stop! Y/n has done nothing but help me!" Cleo stopped and let go of her daughter. She looked at Ava and then at her daughter and gasped. Y/n had tears brimming her eyes and her ear was red. Y/n's features seemed too familiar to Leif. He was brought back to Daemos.

FlashBack

Leif was practicing his attacks with his daggers. He continued to practice until he heard crying getting louder from behind him. He turned around and saw his girl best friend. His princess. She was in tears and her gown was ripped at the bottom.

"Princess! What in the name of Daemos happened?" Leif asked, his daggers disappearing from his fists as he ran to comfort the girl. The girl encased Leif in a hug never letting go.

"L-Leif... H-humans..." The girl said, pointing to where she once came. From that direction came human adults, weapons wielded. Leif stood in front of the girl, anger and bloodlust radiating from his body.

"You might want to close your eyes, Princess," Leif recommended, the girl following the order. The humans' heads were severed from their bodies in a flash, blood spraying from their necks, drenching their clothes. The headless bodies fell to the ground, now lifeless. Leif turned to the trembling girl and picked her up, earning a surprised yelp from her. He jumped from tree to tree looking for a safe clearing, never loosening his grip on the girl. Once he finally found one, he set her down. "You can open your eyes, Princess."

The girl opened her eyes and was greeted by the cheeky smirk of her favorite assassin. She took in her surroundings. They were still in the forest but a different part of it. The trees' barks were twisted, the cracks in them revealing galactic patterns. The leaves of the trees resembled the same sort of pattern but looked like clouds. The grass was a majestic blue and atop it were paths made of Anquite, the crystals of the angels. Near the roots of the trees were smaller versions of the trees that served as homes for Samatira (creatures that act as protectors of spirits). At the center of the mini village was a large tree. Its bark like the rest but its leaves different. The leaves glowed a bright blue. They were in...

"The Silvae Samatiri... The Forests of the Samatira!" The girl gasped. She turned and hugged Leif. "Thank you, Leif. For saving me and bringing me here." The assassin's face was dusted with a pale shade of pink but hugged back.

"Your welcome, Princess."

End of FlashBack

"Let my prisoners go!" Asch had commanded, snapping Leif from his thoughts. A fireball erupted from Asch's hand.

"Did he just-" Devon and Andrew started.

"Create fire?" Cleo and Leon exchanged knowing looks before looking at their daughter whose hands had clenched into fists.

"Leif..." Y/n started, gaining everyone's attention. "Knock 'em out." Leif did as he was told. Well, mostly. He knocked out Ava, Devon, and Andrew. When he went to knock out Y/n's parents, Leon blocked the punches that Leif threw, shocking the Daemos. Y/n snapped her fingers and her parents fell to the floor unconscious.

"Wake up, Ava. She'll figure something out." Y/n said, making her way to the exit of Ava's apartment.

"Where are you going, prisoner?!" Asch asked.

"I'm going to my apartment, I have a lot to think about," Y/n confirmed, her voice cracking. Asch was shocked. Normally, Y/n would have some kind of come back but this time... She just answered his question. Y/n left leaving the Daemos to deal with the situation. Leif grew worried about Y/n because of how much she reminded him of... her... He quickly healed Ava and teleported to Y/n's apartment before his comrades could deny his actions.

(We are going to stick with what happens with Y/n and Leif because, well, most of you know who is going on a date with Ava.)

Leif appeared in Y/n's apartment and was shocked by how grand it was.

He could hear sobbing so he followed the sound until he reached a door which he assumed was Y/n sleeping quarter. He remembered seeing Y/n knock on Ava's door and receiving Ava's permission before entering so he decided to do that. He knocked and the sobbing stopped.

"P-please just go away." He heard.

"Sorceress Y/n? It's me, Leif. I wanted to see if you were okay..." He said.

"That's new, isn't it?" He heard from the other side.

"I'm coming in, alright?" Leif said. Leif opened the door and saw Y/n but her face was puffy and red. ' So much like her... ' He wanted to change the subject so he looked around.

"You know, you have a really nice a-part-a-ment." Leif said.

"Heh, thanks..." Y/n said. There was silence for a while.

"So, what did you want to think about?" Leif asked.

"Oh..." Y/n started," It's nothing really. Just feel like I let people down."

"But, you haven't let anyone down?" Leif said.

"I let everyone down. Ava, my parents, and Ava's parents." She said.

"Do you want me to kill them for you?" Leif said, pulling out his daggers.

"No! Don't..." Y/n pleaded. Leif huffed before touring the apartment. "What are you doing?" Y/n asked playfully, smiling at the Daemos in front of her. Something about him seemed so familiar but she didn't know what.

"What is this? Is it a weapon?" Leif asked, poking the kettle.

"If used in the wrong way, yes. But let me show you how I use it." Y/n clarified. Leif got scared. Was she going to use the weapon on him? Y/n filled the kettle and started making tea. "This is called a kettle. You use it to heat up small amounts of water to make different drinks like tea and coffee. Personally, I think you're too hyper for coffee so I'm making tea!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Leif asked, sitting on the island.

"It means you have too much energy and might go crazy if I give you coffee. Coffee gives people more energy to get through the day but too much is never good." Y/n explained as she continued to make tea.

"So what you're saying is... The more coo-fee I have... THE MORE POWERFUL I WILL BE!" Leif concluded.

"In a way, yes. But, I'm not making your coffee. Here," Y/n said, putting a cup full of tea on a coster near Leif.

"And how do I know you didn't poison it?" Leif asked.

"Do you not trust me?" Y/n asked innocently, swirling a bit of sugar in her tea. "If you're wondering what type of tea it is, I'll tell you."

"There's different types if tea?" Leif asked.

"Yes, this one is green tea infused with white peach!" Y/n said ecstatically. Leif could tell that he cheered her up and he smiled as he went to grab the cup. (Bonus points if you know the reference!)

He took a sip and his eyes lit up. "Wow, this tastes great!" He looked at Y/n who had a graceful smile on her face. His cheeks were starting to glow red. He locked eyes with Y/n. They drew closer. And closer until they could feel the heat radiating off their faces. They drew closer still. They were about to close the gap between them when-

"Y/N!" A voice shouted from the doorway, making the two separate and look to the source. In the doorway stood Cleo, Leon, Ava's Parents, Ava, and Noi. Cleo and Leon looked like they were about to explode.

"Oh my gosh! Y/n, is he your boyfriend too?!" Cleo asked her daughter eagerly.

"Well, I- wait... Too?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah! Did you know Ava was dating Noi?" Cleo asked excitedly. Y/n turned to Ava who gave her a look saying 'Please Play Along Or I'll Get My Ass Kicked.' Y/n breathed in and out.

"Yes, mom. He is my boyfriend." Y/n said with a blush coating her cheeks. Her mother and Devon squealed with excitement. "But before we go, I forgot something in Ava's apartment so Ava, Noi, Leif, and I will go get it. We'll be down in a minute." Y/n said, grabbing Leif and bolting down to Ava's apartment, Ava and Noi following. Y/n, Leif, Noi, and Ava walked into the pocket-castle dimension and joined the other Daemos.

"Ava, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU MAKE ME SAY?!" Y/n shouted.

"I DON'T KNOW! I PANICKED AND I NEEDED YOUR HELP! WHAT ELSE IS NEW?!" Ava shouted in response.

"May we know what's going on?" Rhys asked.

"Okay, here's the deal! Our parents want to take Noi, Leif, Y/n, and me out to eat on a date or something. So we need you to hide Noi's horns!" Ava briefed.

"A date?" Asch asked.

"Yes, it's a sacred ritual where one judges if they wanna be with that person." Ava explained poorly.

"What does that mean?" Pierce asked. Ava looked to Y/n for help. Y/n shrugged her shoulders as she thought of a way to explain it.

"Wait, like courting with Noi and Leif?" Rhys asked, shocking the Daemos.

"What's that mean?" Ava asked.

"Exactly! It's just like courting. Except, if it doesn't work out, you don't move on in the relationship!" Y/n confirmed.

"Prisoners, leave we need to talk." Asch commanded. Leif picked up Ava like a sack of potatoes and threw her out of the castle dimension. Leif then picked up Y/n bridal-style, walked out the dimension, set her down, and walked back into the dimension.

"Why did he go easy on you?!" Ava retorted.

"I don't know..." Y/n said blushing as she looked at the entrance to the dimension.

With the Daemos...

Rhys quickly hid Noi's horns and Leif hid his. "Noi, Leif, I can't believe we're trusting you with this but you need to listen. This is important. If you can get married to Ava and Y/n, then we can get the humans to give us their magic." Rhys said.

"R-really?" Noi said.

"Lady Bish married into our family and gave us her magic. It must work the same here as well." Asch said.

"You both need to win the approval of their parents but also you cannot tell any of them about Daemos. Ava's parents seem wise and Y/n parents seem both wise and strong. You saw how they deflected Leif's attacks. They may know about our world; we cannot risk that." Rhys said.

"So what do I do?" Noi asked panicked.

"Don't screw it up, you moron!" Leif said to Noi.

"Watch your tongue, you-" Asch started.

"Stop it now. Noi, Leif, if this mission is successful, we can possibly go home with the magic we need. Just listen to Ava and Y/n and do not tell them anything about us." Rhys said.

"Right!" Noi and Leif said.

Noi and Lief made their way through the exit and were greeted by Ava and Y/n. "What happened?" Ava asked.

"Nothing you need to worry about, Sorceress Ava." Leif confirmed before Noi would screw anything up.

"Noi, Leif, listen! This is gonna be weird but we-" Y/n started but was interrupted.

"Come on, Pumpkin, Gumdrop!" Devon shouted.

"Shoot! Just follow our lead," Ava said, walking off with Noi following behind. Y/n and Leif still in the living room.

"Look, I'm sorry you got dragged into this." Y/n apologized.

"I don't mind it. At least it's something fun to do." Leif said like it didn't bother him in the slightest.

"By the way, you never actually got my parents' names. Their names are Cleo and Leon (L/n). They are really close friends with Ava's parents, Devon and Andrew." Y/n explained.

"Okay, noted. Now," Leif said, turning to Y/n. He grasped her hand, held it to his lips, and kissed it. He looked up at Y/n's blushing face before seductively saying:

"Let's go on this date, shall we?"
