Mission accomplished?
You were back to training the cadets the next day, but for some reason, you were being a little more harsher than usual. Not Shadis' level of harsh, but definitely harsher.
"MOVE YOU PIECES OF SHIT! MY GRANDMA COULD DO BETTER AND SHE'S DEAD!" You yelled. They all let out quiet yelps and moved their legs faster than before.
"Commander seems more irritated than normal," Armin panted over to his green eyed friend.
"Yeah, I've noticed," Eren said, looking back at you.
"ALRIGHT YOUR 300 LAPS ARE DONE!" You yelled. Most of the cadets collapsed from exhaustion, including Eren, and Armin basically passed out. "Alright you fuckwads, hand to hand combat in two minutes." You turned and walked away from them, deeper into the grounds. You groaned and rubbed your face.
'Why am I acting like this? Something feels so off.' You thought, pulling out a small blade and chucking it at a wooden pole.
"Commander?"
You moved your eyes to the side, seeing Eren by your side.
"What is it?" You asked, throwing another knife. It right in the center of the pole.
"I was wondering why you're acting so much harsher than usual"
You lowered your arm, letting it rest by your side.
"I don't mean to be, I just have a lot of things on my mind," you explained, flipping the blade in your hand.
"No, I understand," he said. He seemed awfully cool headed. "I was just wondering something."
"And that would be?"
"I've heard you mutter some things about 'jealousy', so I was wondering if that's what you were so irritated about."
You furrowed your brows, actually looking at him.
"You're more like your mother than I thought. Observant and quick to catch on." You looked away from him. "And yes, that's what's been on my mind." You went to throw another blade.
"Do you by chance like anyone?"
You slightly faltered in your aim and the knife missed, embedding itself in the ground next to the pole. You went quiet for a moment.
"I'm not sure," you replied quietly.
"Who is it?"
"... someone I've known for a long time."

"WOOOO HOOOOO!!!"
Levi could hear Hanji holler from outside his office. He quietly sighed, preparing himself. She burst through his door with a shit eating grin on.
"We did it! We made her jealous!" She exclaimed happily.
"Tch. That's great, shitty glasses, but how does that help me?" He asked, already irritated from her presence.
"Jealously can make a girl do many things. She's about ready to explode!!"
Levi closed his eyes.
"Alright. What your next step?"
"Third step is to get Petra to gloat about you! Hopefully she won't die, but it'd be worth it!"
"I hope what you're doing works, shit glasses."
"I have 100% confidence it will!" She gave him a wink before leaving his office. He huffed, resuming his paperwork and waiting for your arrival. Because let's admit it, he's had feelings for you for years. It all started when Farlan and Isabel died. You were there for him, you protected him, you put up with him, you never took his insults to heart. And he loved you for that. Now for you, it's almost the same, but not quite. You love him because of who he is. He went through so much hell yet he still stands strong. But you know better. He's just putting up a wall so no one can see how broken he his. And same applies to you. You both can see through each other like glass. You understand each other, you're able to know if something's wrong just from a glance. That's what makes you two perfect for each other.

After you were done training for the day, you said your goodbyes and left the training grounds back to HQ. When you got back to the stables, Petra was waiting for you. When she saw you, she skipped up to your side.
"Commander? Would you like to come with me to dinner? I was just leaving Levi's office and I saw you!" She chirped. You glanced at her, finishing what you were doing for your horse. You smiled lightly at her and nodded.
"Sure, but let me finish up here," you replied graciously.
"Of course."
You gave your horse some food and refilled its water, making sure they were settled in for the night.
"You ready?" You asked, walking up to her side. She nodded and you both went off to the Mess Hall together. "So, why were you in Levi's office?" You looked at her curiously.
"He called me in to help with his paperwork. Then after, he cuddled me on the couch. Pretty cheesy, right? But he's so warm and nice when you're behind closed doors, you know?" She replied. You nodded, half paying attention. Your eyes went cold. "Even though he's a little rough around the edges, he's so sweet and caring. I've never seen that side of him before." She sighed dreamily, eyes shining.
"That's wonderful," you spoke, tone going dead.
"He even said that when the Titans are eradicated, he'll marry me--"
Your patience snapped. You grabbed the back of her scruff and pulled her closer to you. She let out a quiet yelp from the sudden aggression. When she looked at you in the eyes, any noises were silenced.
"All right listen up, Ral. You ain't the type to gloat about things so easily. You usually stutter and blush. So tell me, what's really going on?" You asked, narrowing your eyes.
"Noth-nothing-nothing's goin-going on-on," she spluttered out, eyes growing wide with terror.
"Oh really? I've never even heard you say Levi's name once before you two 'got together.'" You tightened your grip and pulled her closer to your face. "So you're going to tell me unless you want to live."
In the Mess Hall, the superior's and cadets were eating, enjoying themselves and the downtime. The two people that weren't present were you and Petra. Most of the soldiers wondered where you two were. Suddenly, the Mess Hall doors slammed open with a livid you, and Petra right behind you, pissing her pants. All the cadets and most of the superiors' faces blanched. They've never seen you so angry in their life. You found Hanji and Levi's gaze, and both of them knew exactly what was going on.
"Oh hey, Y/n!" Hanji greeted nervously. You strode towards them, grabbing the backs of their jackets and quite literally, dragging them out of their seats. You then proceeded to march out of the Mess Hall.
"I swear, I'll kill you two," You hissed. Once you got out into the hallway, you threw them against the wall, pinning them there. Anger was swirling in your eyes, heat balling up in the pit of your stomach. "I have no idea what you two are up to, but it's not funny."
"Wh-what did Petra tell you?" Hanji asked.
"Me and Corporal aren't actually together! Hanji made me his fake girlfriend to make you jealous because the Corporal likes you! I swear!"
"Oh," was Hanji's reply. Your eyes narrowed.
"Go back to eating. I want to talk to Levi alone," you said, letting go of Hanji. She nodded eagerly before scurrying back off to the Mess Hall. You stared at Levi and he stared at you, neither one of you talking or moving. "So, you went with Hanji's plan to make me jealous, huh?" His breath slightly hitched in his throat. He looked down at the ground, avoiding eye contact with you.
"This is the first time you've never made eye contact with me. Are you embarrassed?" You asked, lifting his chin up with your fingers.
"It's not like... that..." He replied quietly.
"Oh really?" You inquired. You've never seen this side to him and you enjoyed it. "Then tell me." Your patience was withering.
"I just--" He paused, finally looking up at you. You quirked a brow at him. "I like you..."
"You like me?" You repeated, lowering your arm away from his face.
"For a while..." He said quietly, clutching your jacket, face completely pink. Your eyes widened in surprise. You let go of his arm that you still had pinned to the wall.
"So Petra... wasn't lying?" You asked.
"Of course she wasn't, dumbass."
You stayed quiet for a minute. Anticipation grew in Levi's stomach. Confliction arose within you, as well.
"I... I'm not really sure how to respond to that..." You said. He slowly lifted up his gaze and locked eyes with you. Not one bit of embarrassment showing on your face, stark contrast compared to his. He cleared his throat, straightening up.
"I don't blame you. I'm sure you've never had someone tell you that," he replied.
"Never." You thought about something. "However..." He furrowed his brows at you. You grabbed the sides of his face, bringing your face closer to his. Both of your eyes' almost closed, just staring at each other.
"Don't be shy now," he whispered. You smirked.
"Would never dream of it."
Hanji slid down the hallway to see you and him lip locked. Her excitement went through the roof.
"WOOOOOO HOOOOO! FINALLY!! GET SOME SHORTY!" You both heard Hanji yell from the other end of the hallway. You both broke away and snapped your heads in her direction, glaring at her. She screeched, turning tail, and running away.
"Y/n and Shorty are going to have terrifying babies together!!" She yelled as she ran down the hallway. You quirked a brow and Levi sighed. He then shook his head.
"Hey Y/n--"
"No babies," you interrupted him. He rolled his eyes.
"I was going to ask if you wanted to come to my office after dinner."
"Oh, yeah sure." You shrugged with a smile. The both of you then began to walk back to the Mess Hall together. You looked at him from the corner of your eyes.
'Okay... maybe that wasn't so bad...'
Ja ne!
