Yukina
As soon as Kazuma leaves, I sigh and lean against the wall. I know I told Kazuma that I was tired but honestly, I was just overwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, I had a really good time today but the feeling I got today was a new feeling. A feeling of hope, happiness, something I’ve never felt. My clan depsies men but I left my clan and their way of thinking when they threw my brother off a cliff for being born. I liked this feeling though, it’s refreshing and makes me smile.
I didn’t expect Kazuma to buy me a whole outfit when we went out today, I didn’t even realize it was going to be a date, I’d never been on one so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought we were going out today as friends but when I found out otherwise, it filled me with joy.
While I was in my own world, Hiei came out of the room he’s always in. “Did you have a good time?”
“Yeah, I did. He bought me a new outfit,” I smile, pointing to a bag on the couch.
“That was nice of him,” he mutters, walking to the kitchen. “Are you hungry? I’m about to start cooking.”
“Yeah, I’m a little hungry,” I nod, sitting down on the couch.
"Alright, Y/N's here by the way, she’s asleep in my room. She had an outburst at school today and I think it exhausted her because after she helped you pick out an outfit, she passed out in my bed."
"Do you like her?"
"Um…" he pauses, "yeah I do."
"Good." I stand up, "then treat her well."
"I-I plan on it," he stammers, turning back to the stove.
I smiled slightly and was about to head to my room when Y/N walked into the room, yawning, "hey."
"Y/N," Hiei says, turning around, a very small, barely noticeable smile formed.
She walked into the kitchen, "what ya cooking? It smells good."
"Steak and potatoes." Hiei responds, turning back around.
Y/N smiles and heads over to the couch beside me. "Did you have fun with Kuwabara?"
"Yeah! He got me a new outfit, bought me ice cream, and made me laugh! It was great! I hope I can go out with him again soon."
“You should!” Y/N exclaims, smiling, “you deserve to be happy!”
“Thanks Y/N.” I am happy, I found my brother, and I have friends, what else could I need?”
“Dinners’ done,” Hiei says, putting plates on the table.
Y/N and I headed over to the table and sat down, “looks good,” I smiled. Hiei nods and the three of us begin to eat.
