Y/N
Hiei was taking me to a room he wanted to show me when he passed out. My eyes widened as I caught him, and picked him up the best I could, laying him on his bed, which took me a few minutes to find. I felt his forehead which was warm to the touch so I decided to look for some rags and a bucket.
After searching for a few minutes, I found his closet with rags and a bowl which is actually better than a bucket. Filling the bowl with cold water, I slowly walked back to his room, not wanting to spill any of the water, although, I'm pretty sure I spilt a little as I walked.
Getting back to the room, I put it beside the bed, dipping the rag in the water, I wring it out and place it on his forehead, wondering where the fever came from, he was fine just minutes ago! I sighed and started to dial Kurama, not sure how to take care of a sick demon, but then I remembered that Hiei probably wouldn't want anyone knowing. Putting my phone down, I decided just to keep the rag cold, hoping he wakes up soon.
I've been rewetting the rag every ten minutes to make sure it stays cold, but I don't think it's not doing much for his fever. I sighed and got up in search of a fan for Hiei. I looked in each room that I saw, except for one room with a locked door? I wasn't really sure why the door was locked, I don't see Hiei as the type to hide something. Shrugging it off, I decided it wasn't any of my business, I grabbed the fan I found in his spare room and made my way back to his room. I sighed and set the fan up beside Hiei and turned it on, instantly annoyed by the sound it made. I rewet the wag and put it back on his forehead, sitting on my knees beside the bed and sighed, when would he wake up?
Night came and Hiei still hadn't woken up, not wanting to leave him. I grabbed a spare blanket and laid on the floor beside the bed, making sure not to be too close in case he woke up and stepped on me. Yawning, I laid down and closed my eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.
The next morning, I woke up to unfortunately find Hiei still out, although electricity zapped around him, causing me to frown. Was his fever because of me? Did I zap him? How does one even treat an electricity induced fever? I sighed and gave in, dialing Kurama for help.
"Hello, Y/N?" Kurama answers.
"Kurama, are you busy?"
"No, I'm just watching T.V."
"Awesome, so hypothetical question, if a demon gets hit with electricity and has a fever, how long should it be until they wake up?"
"Why? What happened?" Kurama asks, sounding worried.
"Nothing, I'm asking a hypothetical question." I responded.
"Y/N, I can tell by your voice that you're lying."
"Fine, Hiei was training me and I don't know when or how it happened but I think he got hit by my electricity. He was fine until after dinner, where he fainted with a fever last night, he still hasn't woken up, and the fever is still pretty high."
"Get him in water, cool water would be best for the fever. Hopefully, he'll wake up in another day or so."
"Thanks! Also, don't tell him I told you, he might get mad."
Kurama chuckles, "you worried he's going to be mad? Why do you care?"
"Uh, well...I don't! Thanks for the help though!" I exclaim, hanging up quickly. I sigh and make my way over to the bathroom, running cool water into the bathtub. As it fills up, I make my way back to his room and pick him up bridal style, carrying him to the bathroom. He might kill me for getting his clothes wet but oh well, as long as he's ok.
Placing him in the bathtub, I turn off the water and sigh, sitting on the toilet. I wasn't sure how long it would be before he woke up but I hope he wakes up soon.
