I made my way to Hiei's house, half expecting Y/N to not be there anymore, mostly because if she's curious about something, she normally rushes head first into trouble. What really irritates me though is the fact that I have feelings for Y/N, even though it's clearly obvious she has feelings for Hiei and vice versa. I've had these feelings for her for a while now, way before Hiei came to this world, but I never saw any indication that she felt the same.

I sighed as I reached Hiei's house, making my way inside, not even bothering to knock, surprised to see Y/N laying on his couch, staring at the ceiling, "Y/N, you ok?"

"Yeah, fine," she says, not even turning to face me.

"Y/N, I know when you're lying. Now tell me what's wrong," I demand, walking over to her. Sitting down on the end of the couch, I turn to face her, staring her down, "Y/N."

"Can you stop? I'm not in the mood."

"Then tell me what's wrong."

"Nothing!" She shouts, small sparks of electricity emitting from her body.

"Y/N, calm down before something bad happens! I know for a fact you don't have full control over it yet!"

"Shut up! It's fine! It's not like I'm releasing it or anything!" She hisses, turning onto her side.

"Y/N, what's wrong?" I demand, knowing for a fact something was wrong, she never gets defensive like this.

"Can you stop? I don't want to do this!"

"Then tell me what's wrong! Y/N, I'm worried about you!"

"Fine! If you want to know so bad, I'm worried about Hiei! Happy now?" She growls which throws me off guard, I've never seen her act this way.

"You have no reason to worry! He can handle himself."

"I know, it's just that he just recovered from a fever! He shouldn't be fighting so soon!"

"Y/N, he's fought after bouncing back from worse, I promise you, he'll be fine."

"I wish I could help but I know I won't be of any help."

"It's weird to see you think logically about something," I chuckle.

"Shut up! I always think logically!"

Ignoring that little comment, I look at her, "you know, Keiko is used to this sort of thing. Why don't you invite her over. I'm sure Hiei won't mind."

"You think I should?"

"If you want, it's up to you. I'm sure she's worried too."

"Alright," she nods, pulling out her phone, dialing a few buttons before putting the phone next to her ear. I smile and walk out of the room and into the kitchen, deciding to make food for everyone, knowing they'll be hungry when they get back. I'm also going to send Botan a message and have her tell everyone to come to Hiei's house afterwards. He;s going to hate me but it'll be fine, I need to do something, I'm not used to being away from all the action.

A few minutes later, Y/N walks into the kitchen, "Keiko is on her way. You were right, she did sound upset on the phone. Anyways, what are you making?"

"I decided to make some steak with mashed potatoes and corn, I figured a warm meal would be preferred over a cold one, once they get back."

"That sounds like a good idea but will Hiei be ok with you using his kitchen?"

"He'll get over it," I chuckle, as I continue cooking.
