After the three of us ate, Yukina went to her room and I went over to Y/N, "want to move over to the couch?"

"Sure," she nods, plopping down on the couch.

Joining her, I lay my head down on her shoulder and close my eyes. "So, now that everything is calming down, what are you going to do now?"

"Probably focus on school so I can make sure I get into a good highschool, possibly forget I even have these demonic powers. What about you?"

"I think I'm going to go back to my world for a bit, Koemna finally lifted my imprisonment."

Y/N stops and blinks, a smile forming on her face, although I could tell it was forced, "that's great...let Yukina know if she needs a place to stay, I have a guest room available." She didn't sound happy, in fact it sounded like she was holding back tears.

"Thanks, I bet she'll love that." I reply, sitting up to look at her.

Tears were falling down her face as she sniffs, "I should go, I have homework to do." She mutters, small sparks emitting off her.

"You can do it here," I suggest, not wanting her to leave, especially not in her current state.

"No thanks," she mutters, heading to the door, "I'll see you later." The last part of the statement was basically a whisper as she walked out, closing the door behind her. I no longer knew what to do, why was she so upset? Is it because I mentioned going back home? Does she care that much? I figured it wouldn't bother her, it would make everything easier on her and I never said I'd stay for good, I just miss home.

I sigh and head into my room to pack up my stuff. I still need to tell Yukina what's happening and stop by Kurama's to talk to him before going back home.

I threw in the essentials since I wasn't planning on staying for good, just for a bit, get back into what I'm good at, then I'll come back. After packing a duffel bag, I made my way to Yukina's room, knocking on the door. "Come in."

Opening the door, I walk in, "hey."

"Hey," she replies, putting down the book she was reading.

"I'm going back home for a few weeks, I'll be back soon but Y/N said you could stay with her if you needed too."

"Oh, ok. Why are you going back home?"

"Honestly just to clear my head and get back to what I'm good at."

"Oh, alright. If I need anything I'll go over to Y/N's," she says, picking her book back up with a small smile.

I nod and make my way out of her room and over to the front door, grabbing my duffel bag on the way out. It seems like everyone is mad at me today even though they have no reason to be mad, I didn't do anything to them.

It only took me a few minutes to arrive at Kurama's house. Before I could even knock on the door, Kurama opened it, "Hiei, what are you doing here and why do you have a duffel bag?"

"I'm going back home but I think I pissed Y/N off, can you keep an eye on her till I get back? I should only be gone a few weeks."

"You're going back to the demon world, why?"

"To get back to my roots," I sigh, crossing my arms.

"Get back to your roots? Seriously? I thought Y/N was softening you up!"

"This is none of your business! I only came to tell you so you could keep an eye on Y/N. I don't really know why she's upset but I don't want her to go off the deep end."

"I bet she's upset because you're leaving! She loves you Hiei! Don't do this to her, don't leave her."

"I love her too, that's why I'm leaving!"

"That doesn't make any sense! Are you dumb?" He asks, in a whisper.

"First, I'm not dumb, I just don't know how to handle these feelings and second, why are you whispering?"

Kurama pauses and looks behind him before turning back to me, "no reason. Just don't go back home, stay here with Y/N, trust me, that's what she wants."

"No, she'll be fine, I'll be back in a few weeks, she'll just have to get over it." I was about to leave when I sensed another presence moving closer to us, it felt like Y/N, was she here? Shit, I hope she didn't hear any of this. Before she got too close, I left, making my way home. I didn't want her seeing me.
