Darkness. That's all I see as I lean up against  somewhere unknown. I heard a voice that sounded familiar, but where had I heard the voice from? I took a deep breath as I looked around me, only seeing darkness, no light whatsoever. I felt tingly, cold, and wet, wait, not just cold, I was freezing? I don't get cold, I'm a fire demon, plus I hate the cold, which is why I keep the house so warm! Am I dead? I can't be dead, I've yet to find my sister! She's the only reason I put up with the other morons, I can't die, not until I find her! Wait, there's another reason I'm not ready to die yet, but what is it? I feel like it has something to do with that voice but I can't tell for certain. Looking around again, I finally see a door, walking towards it, I open it, and bring my arm up to shield me from the bright light, opening my eyes, I see that I was in the bathtub? I don't take baths, only showers, what's going on? I looked down and I still had my clothes on? Now I know something is wrong, why would I take a bath in my clothes?

Turning my head, I see Y/N asleep on the floor. I blinked and got out of the bathtub, letting out the water, did she put me in here? If so, then why? I grabbed a towel and dried myself off as best as possible and picked Y/N up, carrying her to my bed. Why would she even fall asleep on the bathroom floor? That's just stupid! Sighing, I place her in my bed and cover her up, knocking over  a bucket of water? What's a bucket of water doing right in front of my bed? Covering Y/N up, I grabbed the mop from the cleaning closet and came back to mop it up. Once I was done, I put it to the side and looked up when I heard a voice. Once I heard this voice, I realized it was the same voice I heard in the darkness and it was coming from Y/N! "How did I get here?" She mumbles, frowning. She looks up at me and her eyes widen, "you're awake!"

"Uh yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"You fainted and had a high fever, I was worried."

Maybe that's why I felt so cold, what could have caused me to have a high enough fever to faint, I don't remember the last time I got sick, unless...could it be when I got hit with Y/N's electricity? I can't let her know that might be the reason, she would end up feeling guilty, "it's gonna take more then a fever to take me down, so don't worry," I sigh, rolling my eyes.

"Right, but I was still worried!" She exclaims, standing up, "Anyways, are you sure you're good enough to be out of bed?"

"Of course I am," I mutter, remembering last night, "that's right, I wanted to show you something, but you can't tell anyone, I don't even know why I'm showing you." I make my way to the room that I keep locked so if the idiots try to barge in, they can't see what's in this room, I keep it hidden for a reason, no one can know this side of me.

Once we get to the room, I unlock the door with a key and open the door, a blank look on my face as we walk into the room. "Oh wow," she mutters, looking around, "these are really good." There were many easels with paintings on them, and there were paintings hanging on the wall. I know it doesn't seem like me but I got bored in this house so I took up painting, honestly it was the first thing that came to mind, and it turns out I'm good at it, so it became my hobby.  I mostly paint dark stuff, but I did paint a few paintings of my sister, I just hoped Y/N didn't question those.

"Who's that? She looks like you." Y/N blurts out, pointing to a painting of Yukina.

"No one, pay no mind to those."

"Why are they the only non-depressing paintings?" She asks, not dropping the subject.

"I needed a break from depressing paintings, and that's a face that came to mind, she's the only image I think of when I think of something that isn't dark or mysterious."

"Do you like her?" Y/N asks, bluntly, turning towards another painting of her.
"No, not in that way at least," I sigh, really wishing she would drop the subject, no one needs to know that she's my sister, the more that knows, the worst it gets, she doesn't even know who I am, from what I know, she's still in the village, she doesn't need to know who I am, she isn't even supposed to have a brother because we're in the ice apparitions clan, they despise males, I'm an abomination to the clan.

"Oh, alright," she says, her voice getting a bit happier, I didn't know why and I didn't question it, I just chalked it off to female stuff. "These are all really good though," she compliments.

I just nod and sit down on one of the many chairs, "feel free to look around but tell anyone about this and you're dead, I'm not joking either."

"I won't," she says, blinking, stepping back a few steps. It's honestly kinda funny that she thinks a few steps is gonna do anything, she doesn't realize just how strong I actually am. I give her a menacing smile, trying to scare her, just to see how she reacts when I hear a knock on the door.

"Alright out, whoever that is can't know this room exists, you've admired it enough," I say, standing up.

"Oh right, of course," she says, walking out of the room. I locked the door and shut it, making my way over towards the door since the person kept on knocking. Y/N plopped herself down on the couch, and I opened the door to see Botan standing with her broom, a gloomy expression on her face.

"Hiei, they have Yukina, Koenma has asked Yusuke and I to find her, I just wanted to let you know," she says, before flying off on her broom.

"Hey wait!" I called out after Botan, but it was too late, she was already gone. "Damnit!" I shout, storming into my house, grabbing my swords, and throwing on my shoes.

"What's wrong? Is everything ok?" Y/N asks, sitting up quickly.

"Everything's fine, stay here until I get back, there's food in the fridge, don't break anything, remotes on the fireplace," I shout, before running out the door, not bothering to wait for a response. Quickly tracking Botan with his Jagan eye, he trails her, although never getting close enough for her to notice him. Unfortunately, while he's trailing her, he runs into Kurama who was on his way to Hiei's house to check on him and Y/N.

"Hiei, I was just on my way to your house, where's Y/N?"

"She's at my place, Botan found Yukina," I explain, not slowing down, even while talking to Kurama.

Kurama, who looked surprised to hear this, turned to me, "do you want my help or do you want me to go check on Y/N?"

"Go make sure Y/N doesn't try and follow, I didn't give her much detail and she's very curious." Kurama nods, changing his direction, the two of us never slowing down. I continue following Botan, hoping that Yukina isn't hurt, if they even dared to lay a hand on her, they're all going to die!
