Hiei

I can't believe Kurama talked me into staying, this seemed like an extremely stupid idea, and probally very boring too. He did remind me that Y/N would be here all night so I could keep an eye on her which is the only reason I agreed to stay. The others cheered loudly once the sleepover started which made me groan. Y/N was the only one who didn't cheer, I'm curious to why, but I don't question it, it isn't my place.

Botan, Keiko, and Yusuke were in one corner of the room chatting, while Kurama and Kuwabra watched. I wanted to leave so while occupied. I hopped out the window, deciding to take a walk. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and looked for a nice clearing to find a tree to sit under. "Why'd you leave?" I heard a voice ask, I recognized who the voice belonged to, it belonged to Y/N.

I huffed and turned around, "did you not learn your lesson the first time you followed us?" I hissed.

"Nope," she grins, "so why'd you leave?"

"I don't do sleepovers."

"Me either, I don't like being around a lot of people, maybe we could hang out together?"

"I think I'd rather go back to the sleepover."

"Oh come on! It'll be fun!"

It did sound like it'd be a good time, she seemed very interesting, the only reason I agreed to stay at the sleepover was to watch over Y/N, but I figured she'd be fine which is why I left, guess I didn't take into account that she planned on following me. This could also give me the opportunity to make sure she isn't in any danger, "fine, but only because you won't shut up about it."

She smiles and comes up beside me, "perfect!" I roll my eyes and continue walking, looking for a good tree to sit in, knowing she couldn't follow me unless she climbed, I hope she's a terrible climber, she wouldn't shut up! She's such a chatterbox! I zoned out, not caring enough to even pretend to listen, although she didn't even seem to notice, I don't recall her ever talking this much.

I find a good tree that's pretty high, walking over to it, I jump into the tree, making myself comfortable. She looks up and frowns, just deciding to sit under the tree. My plan worked though, she stopped talking, or if she was still talking, I couldn't hear her, I missed the silence. I closed my eyes and leaned back. I had about thirty minutes of silence when I started to worry, why was she so silent for so long? I hopped down from the tree to see her shaking, her knees pulled close to her chest, "Y/N?"

She looks up, "yeah?"

"Are you ok? You've been extremely quiet, you're never this quiet."

"Actually, I'm always quiet, I just talk a lot sometimes, I didn't want to make you mad, so I decided to wait until you are in a good mood again."

I roll my eyes, "stop worrying about what others think, it's annoying."

"It's not something I can just stop doing! It's like it's a part of me!" She exclaims, sighing.

"Well, looks like we'll just have to work on that then."

"You'd do that, you'd help me?" She asks, hopefully, looking up at me.

"Yeah, and while we're at it, we can work on you controlling your new power, even if you don't want to use it, you have to at least be able to control it to some extent, but we'll have to be careful not to let it go to your head," I explain, knowing how easy it is for her to be manipulated.

She groans, "that's really stupid, I didn't even choose to have these powers! If anything, I'd rather have ice powers!"

I freeze, I hate ice powers for obvious reasons, why would hse want ice powers? The only person I tolerate with ice powers is my sister, well I'll tolerate her once I find her. Ice powers are why I was betrayed, ice is evil! "Trust me, you don't want ice powers, they're dangerous, corrupt, evil."

"Why do you say that?" She asks, tilting her head, confusion evident on her face.

"It doesn't matter why I think this, just know that ice powers are not something you would ever want, I don't tolerate anyone that has ice powers...except for my sister, but that's it."

"You have a sister? How come she's never around?"

"That doesn't matter either, let's just go find a nice clearing, we can start training tonight, it's easier to train at night, you have a clearer mind set, it's easier to hide it from humans, plus it's a really pretty night, perfect for training your powers since you can create storms and electricity."

She groans but nods, "let's get this over with then." She says, following me to an open clearing. We make our way to a clearing that I like to train in. She didn't seem very happy about training her power but she has to at least be able to control it in case something happens.

We get to the clearing and I turn to her, "alright, first we need to figure out how to ignite your powers so go ahead and try."

She nods and brings her hand up and moves it 180 degrees towards the sky. I'm not sure what she was trying to accomplish, but it definitely wasn't working. "Yeah, it's not working," she says, turning towards me.

"Maybe it's because of the weird things you're doing with your hands," I roll my eyes, putting my hands in my pocket, thinking of something else I could try.

She looks down, "sorry, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do, This is all new to me."

I groan, I know she's right. I was about to say something when an idea came to mind. I should just mess with her emotions! Powers are normally triggered by emotions so maybe if I mess with her emotions, her powers will spark up! "This is why I didn't want you following me, you're too stupid!" I hiss, getting angry, hoping it works.

"I'm sorry! I'm not the smartest, I don't know what I'm doing!" She shouts, as electricity sparks out of her body.

"Y/N, look." I demand, pointing at the eclectic sparks.

She pauses and looks down, her eyes wide, "but how? I didn't do anything!" She exclaims, dumbfounded.

"It was your anger."

"So, every time I need to use it I need to be angry?"

"No, just until you learn to control it."

"Oh alright," she says, yawning.

"Come on, that's enough for tonight, you seem tired."

"Aw come on, just a little longer? I feel so good after those sparks went off!"

"You need sleep, we can do more tomorrow night, if you're too tired then you won't make any progress, plus it'll be dangerous."

"Fine," she sighs, "let's go back." I nod and we start making our way back to Yuske's house. I'm not really sure what's wrong with me right now, I don't normally do stuff like this, normally I train until I drop but I don't want her to do that for some reason? It's weird, I'm going to try and get it out of my mind. I honestly don't even know why I offered to train her, was this Kurama's plan all along? I groan, my head hurting from Y/N's stupidity. I hope no one realizes we're gone, they might think something about it.
