Hiei

I lead Y/N out of the classroom, looking at her, trying to hide the concern on my face. My gut was telling me she didn't need to see the nurse, "look at me," I demanded, harshly. She slowly looked up, gulping, she probably thought I was mad, when in reality, I was worried. I looked at her forehead and saw a yellow mark which confirmed my suspicions, "you should have come today, it was too much, you have the mark of Suzaku."

"So I was right, I didn't fall down the stairs...but what do you mean by..." She stops mid-sentence, and screams in pain again.

"Come on, I'll take you home." She nodded and we made our way back to her house, walking slowly since she was in pain. She was still crying, I can't believe I have to take care of a human.

"What did you mean earlier? About the demon's mark, she asks, quietly.

"When you were attacked with the electricity, he accidentally transferred some of his powers into you because he's an idiot, giving you the mark of the demon, you now have powers of electricity."

"What if I don't want them?"

"Well, I don't know what to tell you then," I shrug, looking over at her, seeing her movements were getting slower, I frown, "are you ok?"

"I just need a minute to rest," she says, sitting down on a bench, "hey will this mark ever go away?"

I sat down beside her, "it will, once your body gets used to the electricity in your body, it will appear everytime you go deep into your powers but you probably won't have a headache." I reply, softly.

"Come on, you need to get home, then you can rest."

"I can't, I'm too dizzy."

I groan and pick her up bridal style."

"Thanks," she mutters, putting her head on my chest. I sigh and continue walking, wanting to get her home as fast as possible. "Let the others know that I do wanna hang out with yall today, once school ends.

"Are you sure that's a good idea? With your head hurting and all?"

"Yeah, I think it'll be good for me," she nods. It took only a few minutes to finally reach her house, only to find it was locked. I groaned and looked to see if she was awake since she's been quiet, only to find she was asleep. Sighing, I went over to her bedroom window and entered her house that way, I gently laid her down on her bed, pulling the cover up over her.

Debating on whether or not I should go back to school or not, I sat down on her window-sill. I despised that place, I already knew everything they were teaching and more, it's a waste of time. I don't know why Koemna is making me go to school, isn't keeping me in the living world punishment enough?

Deciding to just go home instead, I went to jump out the window but a weird feeling consumed me, making me want to stay. Frowning, I went back to my original position, waiting for Kurama to get home. Maybe I just didn't want to leave her alone? I'm hoping that once he gets here, the feeling will go away. I leaned against the window and closed my eyes, deciding to take a nap.

It was hours later when I heard footsteps running, my eyes shot open. I jumped up and got into a fighting position, my eyes shooting to Y/N. Once I actually focused on the intruder I realized it was Kurama, allowing myself to relax. I sat back down in my spot and closed my eyes, not wanting him to know I was caught off guard.

"Y/N! Hiei! Why Are y'all already here? Is everything ok?" Kurama shouts in a panic as he opens the door to the bedroom.

"I'll explain if you stop yelling, Y/N is sleeping!" I hissed.

"Oops, my bad," Kurama chuckles, "anyways is everything ok?"

"Y/N had a headache and the teacher made me take her to the nurse, but before we got to the nurse, I noticed that Suzaku's mark was on her forehead, knowing what could happen, I brought her here. I didn't want to leave her alone, so I decided it was best to wait for you to get back." I finished explaining everything when I heard sparks, my eyes shot to Y/N to find electricity coming off her body, I didn't have a way to stop it but it should end shortly.

"That was nice of you," Kurama smirks, then frowns, "if she has the mark of Suzaku, then we're in trouble. If his bird finds out, he might try to control Y/N."

"I highly doubt that birds' smart enough for something like that," I scoff. "Anyways, now that you're here, I can finally leave without feeling-" I stop myself, I couldn't let Kurama know about that.

"What was that?" He asks, smirking.

"Nothing!" I scowl, walking over to the window, jumping onto the tree right beside her house. I wasn't sure what was wrong with me, but for some reason, I was extremely worried about Y/N. I tried shaking it off as I made my way home.
