❄️
"Tooth...I'm breaking up with you." I spoke.
Her eyes widened as her lips parted, wanting to speak but faltered from doing so. She looked down, her eyes turning dark as her hands became fist within her lap. Her wings poised and ready to jump for any moments notice. A quick get away and a scream.
"Why?" Her voice was quiet, but her tone was harsh and cold. I struggled to speak, feeling her rage from within her as it radiated out and above. I was now consumed in a invisible cloud of red.
"Why Jack?! Why?!" She repeated. Beckoning for an answer from within my mind.
"Cause...I don't love you anymore Tooth...I'm sorry." I spoke quietly. Watching her shaking form.
"Why? Have I done some thing wrong? Is there...is there someone else!"
"No Tooth there is no one else." I lied. Making sure to sound as believable as I could as I spoke between clench teeth.
"Then why?! Huh! Why??"
"Cause I just don't love you anymore!" I countered and the next thing I knew...there was a sting within my right cheek.
I didn't see her get up, I did not see her walk to me. Nor did I see the hand that slapped upon my cheek. An action so unexpected that it made me do a double take. I would've never thought that she would hit me, but she did. And I was surprised that she had the will to do so. Still feeling her ball of rage, I looked upon her. Her magenta eyes turned to a deep, dark, purple. Eyes that were filled with nothing but hate and frustration. Her lips were in the complication of being a frown or a scowl. Her wings raised behind her as they slightly fluttered with rage. This was one of those moments were you want to run, but deep down...you know you have to face it alone.
"You coward!" She hissed. Her lips moving as if she was baring fangs that would not appear. Moving her lips as she was about ready to growl. "How dare you! You......you are fool! You stupid fool!"
"Tooth-" I tried to shut her up but she cut me off.
"You selfish bastard! How could you do this to me! To me!! How could you! I loved you! I cared for you! I should have...I should...I should've never used that-" she stopped. Her voice dying off as she quickly covered her hand with her mouth. Acting as if she was just about to give away the biggest secret of the century. One of my eyebrows rose, giving her a look that was both pissed off and yet curious as hell.
"What? What should've you never used? What did you do Tooth?" I growled, snarled even. At hearing the rage within my voice, she regain her posture and reinforced her enraged facade. And in sharp poisonous tongue she said...
"I should have never wasted my time upon you! You brat!" And with her voice, that grew louder and louder, she did too. Instead she rose higher and higher as she spoke. Speaking as she casted her shadow down upon me. Her wings flapping vigorously as she waited. Waiting to make sure that she was ready to walk out that door and with one look in my eye...she knew. She fell, her feet landing against the floor as they made the light sound of flesh against stone. She gave me one last look and she turned. She walked without making a sound, her wings at ease as she stood tall and proud. She did not utter a word or gave me a rude gesture. No, she walked and when she got to the door, she hesitated for a moment. She looked down and I watched how her eyes dance from one spot to the other, mentally arguing with herself. To stay or to go. Truth was she really didn't have a choice, I didn't want her to stay...so she had to go. She closed her eyes and inhaled. Her head moving back up as she inhaled the air and her eyes opening in the gab between the two doors. She walked out and no, she did slam the door. She closed it with a click and I sighed as I held the table that I leaned upon behind me. Allowing my head to fall forward as I look upon my pale feet that resided upon the floor. I stared into the space between them and I can only think of one thing and one thing only.
"Elsa," I whispered. Her name tasting so sweet upon my lips. Oh, how I needed to see her and see her I will. Even if it kills me. I will see her.
I picked my head up, rushing out of the library as I ushered to my room. I ran pass elves and their Yeti bosses, pass North, Bunny, and Sandy. Finally skidding into my room as I almost collapsed upon my closet door. Turning the handle as I looked for my favorite hoodie. Quickly slipping it on and grabbing my staff. I undid the hinges upon my bedroom window and I jumped from it. The cold winter air catching me as I asked it nicely to take me where I wanted to go. Knowing the one the place I could find her. It carried me, it danced with me, and it helped me get to the one I needed to get to. I landed upon the white snow. The sound of slush happening between my toes as the wind blew through my hair. I shoved one hand within my hoodie pocket as I propped the staff against my shoulder. I took a deep breath as I could hear nothing but silence and my movement. My eyes searching for the one that was not to be seen. I took slow steps slowly progressing to the lake that was before me. She was not here to welcome me with her presence. Nor was she her to soothe me with her voice, with her touch, with her beauty.
Then I thought, if she is not here...then I will find her.
I slowly crouched down to the ground. Using my staff to balance me as I scooped a bit of snow into my right hand. Slowly my hand clutched the soft ice. Compacting it between my fingers and palm as I slowly brought the fist to my mouth. My lips blew on it ever time a I spoke.
"Find the one...named Elsa," I whispered. Slowly opening my hand and revealing a cluster of snowflakes. I puckered my lips and blew upon them. Watching as they flew out of my hand and into the open air. I stood as they flew over the tree line. Dancing in a mocking tone as they beckon me to follow. I smiled as I stared at them.
"I'm coming Elsa." And I flew after them.
❄️ Elsa's P.O.V ❄️
"Huh!" I inhaled. Waking from my unconscious state. I slowly sat up, my hand immediately jolting to my forehead as I felt an unimaginable pain. My head felt like it was banged on by a hammer.
"Elsa," Pitch spoke as he rushed from the chair at which he sat to the bed where I laid upon.
"Where...where am I?" I croaked, my throat filling dry.
"Here, drink this." Pitch replied, handing me a glass full of water. I quickly brought the glass to my lips. Gulping it down as it was some form of air that I needed to breath.
"You're home. In your room." He told me as I slowly took in my surroundings. Soon realizing that he was right and that I had freaked out for nothing. It was then I began to wonder...how did I get here? I brought the glass away from my lips. The coldness of the water still reminiscing with on my lips and within my throat. The dryness fading away as it now allowed me to speak.
"How did I get here?" I questioned and he gave me a look that was filled with concern and worry. He sighed, bowing his head as he placed both of his hands on my shoulders. His fingers squeezing my shoulders with reassurance and comfort. He looked back up at me and into my eyes. Looking as if he was searching for something.
"What do you remember?" He spoke lowly but warmly. As if he was trying to tell me not to push myself. I looked down and my eyebrows furrowed together as I searched threw my memories. Images flashing before my eyes as if they were a movie playing back from rewind.
"I..." my eyebrows crinkled up even more. "I...I remember that we...we were going to see the council and..."
"And...?" He repeated, urging me to go on.
"And we entered...into the council room. And I...I saw..." I paused my eyes widening as I could feel myself beginning to fill with joy. I remember him, I remember...my father figure.
"Elsa...who did you see?" I looked at him, a wide goofy smile playing upon my lips. His eyes softening for he knew just who I was going to say.
"Manny, I saw Manny. I remember him! I remember Manny, Pitch! Which means...it means that I'm a guardian!"
He smiled, "yes it does, Elsa. You are indeed a guardian." Then his smile turn into a frown and my mind became overcome with fear.
"What? What is it? What's wrong?" I questioned him softly. Placing my free hand upon his chest as I looked at him with concern. He titled his head...looking at me for a long minute before he proceeded with his question.
"What do you remember after you met Manny?"
"What...do...I remember?" I said slowly. Surprised by his question as I took a moment before I spoke again. "I...I remember..." my voice died off.
I remember nothing. I remember nothing after that moment.
"Nothing." He spoke. Speaking the word that I wished not to answer with.
I nodded.
He sighed, "you remember nothing after that point cause after that point...you blacked out."
My eyes widened, surprised with what Pitch was telling me. "What?"
"Elsa, you blacked out after you saw Manny. You fainted, so I had Kaname take you home while I answered the Council's questions. You were out for a day and a half."
"I...fainted? Why did I faint?"
He sighed again. Taking his hands off my shoulders as he ran one of them threw his hair. "I know you've been remembering things Elsa..." he paused. Hesitating and contemplating wether to speak the next lines or not. "...and I know that you have been seeing Jack behind my back."
It was like a ton of fear and guilt weighed my heart down at that very moment. I didn't want him to know, I didn't want him to hear, to see. For I was afraid if he knew what I was doing with Jack he would stop it. He would forbid me from seeing him and I would never feel is sweet touch upon my skin. My heart and mind were nervous and I was already on edge. The pain from within my head vanished as I was about to go to fight or flight mode. Was he angry? Mad? Infuriated with me? I decided not to question it and instead I lied in hope that I could convince him other wise. I put on my confused facade and give him a half hearted smile.
"I-I don't know what you talking about." Damn me and my stuttering.
He shook his head, knowing that I was lying right in front of his eyes. "You don't have to lie Elsa. I'm not mad."
My eyebrows rose with surprise, "you aren't?"
"No, why would I be? I know he's helping you remember Elsa. I know you see and feel things with him...which is why I must warn you to be careful." His voice became stern and low once he spoke the words 'which is why...'
"Warn me? Warn me about what?"
"The reason why you fainted was because you were remembering things too quickly. You have to take things slow or your brain will be overwhelmed and..." His voice died off as a face of dread consumed his expression. A face so scared and afraid that it sent a ping to my heart.
"And what Pitch? What will happen?"
The face of dread was broken with a smile. A smile that didn't quite reach to his eyes as he placed his hand upon my cheek. His thumb stroking my skin softly as I leaned into it.
"Just please...please...heed my warning. Take it slow, promise me...remember slowly." He begged. Pleading even as his voice slightly cracked at the seams. Tears softly pricking at his eyes. Feeling his sadness and seeing his broken state...I nodded. Hearing him exhale with relief as he kissed my forehead softly. Letting his lips linger there for a moment or two.
"Please," he breathed "lay down. You need to rest." He took the glass of water from my hands and placed it upon the night stand.
I laid down, watching him as he stood up to tuck me in. His hands placing the blanket over my shoulders as he looked at me with what was called "Sibling Love".
"Just yell if you need something. I'll be right out in the living room." I nodded as he began to walk away and that was when I remembered something.
"Wait!" I yelled as I grabbed his arm. My fingers clutching the black fabric of his sleeve. He turned to me as I remained in bed, placing his hand upon mine as it remained on his arm.
"What is it Elsa?" He spoke with a smile.
"Where's Saraphine?"
"She's in the living room. Why?"
I smirked, "no reason. Just wanted to know."
He cocked one of his eyebrows. "What are you thinking?"
"Nooooooothing," I giggled. Clutching the blankets as I hid my giggling lips from beneath them.
He crossed his arms and spoke in a big brotherly tone, "Elsa?"
"Yessssss?"
"What are you giggling about?"
I smirked and yelled from the top of my lungs the words, "SARAPHINE AND PITCH SITTING IN THE TREE! FIRST COMES LOVE THEN COMES MARRIAGE-" Pitch cut me off as he placed his hands over my mouth.
"Shhh, you know she can probably hear you." He whispered softly.
"Then comes baby in a baby carriage." Someone near the door spoke. Making us both freeze as all eyes turned towards the door. Our eyes came upon a smirking Saraphine that leaned against the door frame. The definition of tease residing within her eyes. She winked at me, making Pitch's ears and cheeks turning a fiery red. We both laugh at his embarrassment, finding it useful to our amusement.
"Awww did I make Pitchy blush?" She teased. Walking over to him as she nudged his shoulder with her's.
"Saraphineeeeeeee" he growled playfully making us both laugh once more. They were so cute together. The Angel and the King of Nightmares...so cuuuuuuuuute!
"Hehe, come on. Let Elsa rest, she needs it." She cooed. Hooking one of her fingers into his belt loop and dragging him towards the door.
"S-Saraphine," he spoke again. Surprised by her sudden boldness.
"Goodnight Elsa!" She called back as she stood in the door way with Pitch being dragged behind her.
I giggled, "goodnight Saraphine." She nodded and closed the door behind her. Leaving me alone in the room with my thoughts and mind. I curled into the blankets, being wrapped in their warmth as I laid on my side. A small smile picking at my lips as I thought of one thing and one thing only.
I ship them.
❄️
I couldn't sleep so I decided to get out of bed. Hearing how the bed slightly creaked as my weight was no longer upon it. I looked at myself in the mirror...man did I look dreadful. My hair was well...being my hair. Knots, rats nest, and all and of course I was still wearing the same clothes from yesterday. Except they were all crinkled and wrinkled and I'm pretty sure I stank. Rubbing my eyes I decided that I would take a shower. I walked into my bathroom and closed the door behind me. Locking the door I walked into my closet that was connected with my bathroom. Stripping down as I threw my dirty clothes within the hamper that was designated for that purpose. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower, once it was warm I hopped in. The hot warm water feeling good against my bare skin. Washing away all my problems, all my sleepiness, everything. The hot water was soothing and a hot shower was just the thing I needed. Now feeling relaxed, refreshed, and bathed, I walked out of the shower. Slipping a towel around my torso as I entered my closet to find some comfy clothes. I put on black jeans with a white tank that fitted my body perfectly. I did my hair as I dried it in front of the bathroom mirror. The hot blow dryer making my hair fluffy again and it was at that moment...I noticed something. Quickly I turned the blow dryer off in ordered not to lose it. My hand pinching it between my fingers carefully.
Blonde. Platinum blonde that was only a few shades different from white. It...was a strand of my own hair. One that was still connected to my head as I felt the slight tension it gave as I pulled it slightly. Making sure that this hair was indeed mine. I hesitated wether to take out the blonde strand or not. It didn't stand out with the sea of black, so I decided to leave it. Hoping I could conceal it from all peering eyes. I shrugged, shaking off the encounter with the blonde hair as I pulled my hair back into a pony tail. Letting my bangs fall forward as they brushed my eyebrows slightly. I sighed, looking down as I walked towards the bathroom door. Unlocking it as I opened it, walking into my room as I picked my head up. My eyes widened once my eyes fell upon...him.
There he was, sitting upon my bed as if he owned the world. His staff against the far wall as he looked at me with his deep blue eyes. Eyes that were filled with want and need. He looked at me with such an intense gaze it made me melt and squirm within my place. I felt breathless as his eyes roamed my body up and down. He's looks were screaming of "hot danger" but also "passionate trust". His lips, his hair, his eyes, his skin made my toes curl just by looking at him. At this moment I didn't know if I was surprised or flustered so...why not be both?
"Jack?" I spoke his name breathless and he smiled.
❄️ Pitch's P.O.V ❄️
"I can't believe I made you blush," she laughed.
We were on the couch and Saraphine hasn't shut up about how she made the King of Nightmares blush. I groaned for the umpteenth as she held her laughing stomach.
"You know I can you make you blush just as easily." I countered, her laughter dying a bit as she looked at me. A bit of a chuckle still within her voice.
"No you can't." She teased.
"Yeah I can."
"Nope."
"Is that a challenge?"
"Maybe it is!" She retorted, sticking her tongue out at me. I cocked my eyebrow and smirked as I saw an opportunity that just came into play.
"So if I win...what do I get?"
"I don't know? What do you want?" She questioned me. Now seeing that I was serious. I smirked, my eyes vibrant with devilish intent. I leaned my mouth close to her ear, feeling her tense slightly beside me.
"I want you to stay with me for a whole week. Days and nights. I also...want to touch your wings again."
"B-But Pitch...you know what happens when someone touches my wings. It's liking touching my most sensitive...um...nerve."
"Either that's my award or you say I'm right. Which is it?"
"But-"
"No buts."
She groaned, "fine."
I gave her a devilish look, "good." I grabbed her by the waist and placed her on my lap. Making her straddle me as her hands rested upon my chest. She was casting her eyes down, away from me as I could already see she was a bit flustered.
"You aren't blushing already are you?" I teased. She shot her head up and gave me a determined look.
"No! No way!"
"Good because," I paused. Pulling her closer to me as I pressed her into me. My lips grazing her ear as she shivered slightly within my arms. "...I want to be the one that makes you blush. I want to be the only one...that makes you feel things that only I can do to you. I want to be the one...to make you feel good." I whispered huskily and possessively.
"P-Pitch." She shuddered. Already knowing that she was blushing before me. I pulled away so I may look at her, tilting her chin up so I could look at her blushing face. Cheeks a vibrant rose red as hot breath radiated from her lips. A look so tempting that would make any man go crazy. A look so tempting...it wanted me to take her right here, right now. I smiled, trying to push the thought out of my mind.
"Guess I win."
"You cheated."
"How so? We never had any terms as how I needed to do it? I just did and looks like I win."
"Fine, but you aren't getting away without a little pay back."
"What are you–er!" I growled as she bit my earlobe. Nibbling on it softly as she slowly teased it with her teeth. I growled, my hands going to her hips.
"I can feel you Pitch," she whispered in my ear. Her voice turning into a devilish sexy as she continued to speak. "...you're hard." She grinned against my skin.
"Am not," I countered breathless.
"Oh really?" She purred, rocky her hips softly back and forth as she teased me. I growled, my hands tightening on her in order to keep her in place.
"Stop that," I warned softly.
"Why?" She pouted.
"Because...it feels too good." I whispered against her neck. My voice vibrated on her skin as I kissed it. Kissing her pulse as they magnified every touch of my lips against her skin. She moaned, pressing herself harder against me making me growl. My hands went under her shirt, sparks shooting from our contact as we continued this devilish act. She moaned my name, it sounded sweet coming from her lips as I nipped at her collar bone. Her hands playing with the hem of my shirt as my hands went dangerously up her torso. I should stop, we should stop. But...I don't want to. I wanted more...so much fucking more. I exhaled deeply, the tips of my fingers touching the bottom of her bra as I aligned my head with her's. Brushing my nose softly against her's as her hot breath teased my lips. It was at that moment...she whispered a question that was unexpected.
"Do you love me?"
