A Day in Time

❄️ The picture is Anna in her wedding Dress ❄️

There will be days when celebration is needed. But...there will also be days when you have to stop and think..."what is wrong with the world?"

❄️ Meanwhile in Arendelle, Anna's P.O.V ❄️

"Oh Princess Anna you look just lovely." The servant named Ashley spoke with a gasp. Bringing her hand to her heart as she took a long glance at me. I blinked, feeling her hands on my shoulders as I stared at my reflection in the human sized mirror. I was dressed in my wedding dress. The white and red fabric hugging my body beautifully as my hair was pinned up in a bun. My golden crown laying promptly upon my head. I had fallen in love with the dress the moment I laid my eyes upon it.

"Thank you Ashley, do you think...Kristoff will like it?" I questioned, my eyes remaining on my reflection.

"Like it? He'll love it!"

I smiled as Ashley's hands fell from my shoulders. Walking over to my bed as she began to put away pieces of fabric that laid there. Her hands working briskly as she folded the clothing neatly. I continue to look at my reflection, my smile turning into a frown as I placed my hand on the three red jewels that laid in between my collar bones. Feeling high tightly they were embedded into the fabric as my mind wondered.

"It's a shame that Queen Elsa wasn't able to see it. She would think you look just astounding." Ashley chuckled, making me turn to look at her with parted lips. Noticing her mistake she quickly looked at me with apologetic eyes.

"Oh, Princess Anna. Forgive me, I did not mean-"

Raising my hand I signaled her to stop. "It's alright Ashley. I..." I paused, my eyes casting upon the ground as I folded my arms uncomfortably. Feeling the sense of pain and lost enveloping my body. "...I also wanted her to be here. I wanted her opinion on this dress. I...I want her to be here on my wedding day."

Ashley frown, folding her hands together as they laid just above her lap. "We...also want Queen Elsa back as well. I miss her, the staff misses her, we want to see our Queen once more. We raised you two as if you were our own, we hate seeing you in pain Anna."

Looking away from her I felt conflicted. Taking three long slow strides towards the window. Peering out onto the streets of Arendelle, I watched, I listened, and I learned.

"Have you heard anything from the Guardians? Anything about Elsa?"

"No. Not a single word." I spoke as my eyes did not move from the window. Having the feeling that Ashley was looking down in sorrow. Where are you Elsa? Do you know how it feels...being in the dark. Unaware of your presence as I remain behind the gates of Arendelle. Trying on gowns as you fight the forces of the dark and corrupted. You're out there...risking your life. While I'm here...trying to rule the kingdom that should be ruled in your name. Where...where on earth could you be?

"Do you think..." I began, grabbing Ashley's attention. "Do you think she's alright?" I sighed painfully.

"Anna-"

"Do you...even think she's alive? Is she...covered in snow frozen to death? Her red blood contrasting with the white flecks of winter?" My voice began to break as I imagined the worst. My hands tightening around me as I began to shake. The pit of fear engulfing my body. "Is she...is she even breathing? Is she safe? Hurt? Alive? Elsa, where are you? Where...where are you?! Why don't I see you anymore! Why don't you speak! Why...why?! Why! Elsa I miss you! Arendelle needs you! WHERE ARE YOU!" I screamed, my hands banging the window in frustration. The tears running down my face furiously as my hands continued to hit the glass.

"ANNA! PRINCESS ANNA!" Ashley screamed urgently as she rushed to me. Grabbing my arms as she tried to make me stop.

"Princess Anna, please stop this! You're going to hurt yourself!" She begged. Ignoring her pleads I continued to bang on the glass. Fighting her as I continued to scream Elsa's name.

"ELSA! ELSA WHERE ARE YOU! COME HOME! COME HOME!"

"Kristoff! Kristoff!" Ashley screamed as she left the room. Running as she went to get Kristoff. I banged against the window, screaming and slowly...sound just began to fade. As if it meant nothing, as if it could not break the barrier of my mind as all I felt was lost. Moving my lips as my screams and sobs became nothing but air. The sound of my banging hands becoming a shadow as I was consumed. Something was wrong. I could feel it all the way to my bones. The feeling that something just wasn't quite right, that something was wrong. And I know...that something was Elsa. I know that something had happened to her and I was going mad because of it. Sound was no longer an option and my world began to slowed. Emotions were converted and formed into lost, I was falling into a pit of nothing. The dark.

"ANNA!" Kristoff shouted. Grabbing my arms as he pressed my back against his chest. I have been saved from the pit.

"Anna," he cooed softly in my ear. I slowly turned around to face him, the tears seeing no end. His eyes bore into mine as he too looked at me with concern and pain. My Kristoff, my love...he understood more than anyone how I felt, how I think. He knows that I feel lonely, lost without knowing how my sister is. Knowing that I might fall into a deep depression if my sister, my mentor wasn't found soon. I had already lost her once...I didn't want to lose her again.

"When will the madness end?" I asked softly as I looked at him with pleading eyes. His eyebrows rising as they knitted together. He grabbed my arm, his warm fingers wrapping around my wrist as he looked me dead in the eye.

"It may never end." He spoke, pulling my wrist softly. Making me fall into his chest as he wrapped his arms slowly around me. Tightening them as he pulled me closer into his body.

"But I'll always be here to keep you sane." He whispered softly in my ear. Making me give out a broken cry as I wrapped my arms around him. My hands clawing his shirt tightly as I sobbed into his chest. He held my trembling form gently but also needy, making sure that I knew that he was here. And that he was never going to let me go.

Please Elsa. Please...be alright.

❄️ Elsa's P.O.V ❄️

I had listened to Pitch's story with content. Feeling pain and sorrow as I had lifted my head from his chest. Looking him in the eyes as I asked...

"Would you have stayed if you could?"

He sighed, looking away from me as he ran his hand through his black hair. The expression of regret playing well on his face. "If I could've stayed...I would have in a heart beat."

He paused, averting his eyes back to me. "I would have stayed and I would have...loved Saraphine with all my heart."

I smirked, "oooooh. Does my big brother have a crushy wushy? Hehe."

His face was confirmation enough for not a moment later his cheeks turned beat red. Making me laugh as I held my stomach.

"Elsa!" He spoke flustered.

"Pitch has a crush! Pitch has a crush!" I chanted.

"Why you-"

Just then a knock erupted the moment. Making us cease all movement as I felt a familiar presence standing behind the front door. Making my lips perk into a grin.

"Kaname," Pitch summoned and Kaname walked into the room in his human form.

"Get the door please-"

"Pitch, I think you should be the one to get the door." I spoke, cutting him off as I stood to stand next to Kaname.

"What's wrong with Kaname?" He questioned, standing up as he stared at the both of us.

"Trust me, you want to answer the door."

He raised his eye brow at me. The knock repeating once more as it echoed from the door.

"Just go answer it before I-"

"Okay, okay. I'm going, I'm going." He spoke in defeat. Waving his hands in the air as he went to open the door.

"Who's at the door?" Kaname whispered in my ear.

"Just watch." I smiled as I watch Pitch slowly open the door. His face filled with shock as she looked at him with a genuine smile.

"Hello Pitch," she spoke sweetly. Making him shudder for it felt so good just hearing his name roll of her tongue.

"Saraphine," he gasped as he slowly wrapped his arms around her. Embracing her in a tight hug as he held her desperately.

"It's good to see you again." He croaked pulling her closer to his body as if that was even possible. She smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck as she sighed with relief.

"I missed you too...Pitch."

I smiled as I watched the two of them. Seeing how happy they were once they were engulfed in each other's arms. I...I had learned something from Pitch's story. Something that I should have never forgotten. Don't forget the past. I know the old saying goes "the past is in the past", but isn't your past the thing that makes you the person you are now.  The reason why you're kind to people because you've felt that pain before. The thing that polishes your soul and your being through experience and heart break. Your past is what gives you your identity because what you've been through makes you...you. I lost my identity when I lost my past. Sure I know my name and I know I hold powers beyond imaginable. But that's all I am...is a name and the power of winter. Just who is Elsa? What kind of person does this name belong to? Just who am I?

It was then I knew that something had to be done. That it must be done and I know exactly what it was.

"How did you know?" Kaname questioned in my ear. His eyes not wavering from Pitch and Saraphine as they began to speak.

"Just a feeling I guess." I replied.

"Do you really think...that she can love him the same way he loves her? Do you really think she can make him happy?"

I looked at him from the corner of my eye. "I don't think it..." I snapped my eyes back to Saraphine. "She's already doing it." I replied watching the way that she smiled at Pitch. Joy, longing, compassion, love. She had indeed loved Pitch Black, but she was too afraid to speak her emotions. Too afraid that he'll run away once more. I sighed, looking down as I placed my hands on my hips. And yet another project for me to work on, but that one would have to wait for now. Turning to Kaname I told him...

"If Pitch asked tell him I'm going out for a walk." I told them heading for my room so I could put on something more walk worthy.

"Why? What for?" Kaname questioned.

"I just need to get some air. Don't worry I'll stay in the forest."

"Just be careful alright. I don't want you getting hurt."

I stopped, flashing him a smile before I continued to walk on. "I will. And if I get in trouble...I promise you'll be the first I call. See you later Kaname."

He bowed, his lips perking into a small smile that held reassurance. "See you soon...my lady."

Venturing into my room I slipped on a long sleeve dress that stopped right above my knees. Putting on dark grey leggings as I tied a red corset around my torso. Slipping on black low heel boots that stopped just above my ankle, tying the black laces as I secured it around my foot. Looking in the mirror I put my raven black hair up in a bun, brushing my bangs back and off to the side as some rebellious strands fell upon my forehead. Feeling good and okay with the way I look, I nodded my head. Grabbing my black cloak from off the coat hanger as I draped it over my shoulders. The end of the cloak just barely dragging across the floor as I walked. Standing in front of the front door I popped the black hoodie over my bun, hiding myself from peering eyes. I opened the door, the winter air nipping at my nose as I closed the door behind me. Taking a deep breath before I began to make my way into the forest.

Heading to the lake for the third time.

❄️ Jack's P.O.V ❄️

I sighed, sitting next to the window as I peered out upon the snow covered forest. Drawing patterns of ice upon the window as Tooth's voice rang in the back ground. Speaking about some kind of gebrish that I didn't give a damn about. Ever since...that dream...I've been trying to avoid Tooth for most of my time. And I guess she's been noticing that because now she hasn't left me out of her sight. She always makes sure that me and her are in the same room or that I'm not in a discussion without her by my side. She's becoming very clingy lately and demanding. I am sick and tired of it. Here I am, here with Tooth...when all I could think about is...Elsa. To feel her body against mine, running my hands down her devilish figure. Finally feeling those addictive, soft lips upon my-

"Jack!" Tooth shouted. Making me flinch out of my thoughts as I turned and looked at her with bewildered eyes.

"Jack have you been listening?"

"N-no sorry. I kind of...zoned out for a bit." A bit, ha, let's say a lot. "Umm what are we talking about?"

"We're talking about the Guardian glossary. You have to learn all the entries six days from now."

"Says who?!"

"Says me. I told you I'm giving you a test six days from now." She exclaimed as she held a book that read "The Memories of the Past" written in gold. It's was a rich red color that painted the cover of the book with golden vines climbing around it. I was verily surprised how thin the book was since it supposedly had every entry of every Guardian known to man.

I groaned, "why do I have to learn all the entries anyway?"

"Because it's educational and it will help in the long run. Trust me, I'm always right."

I sighed, hopping off the window sill as I placed my staff on my right shoulder. Placing my left hand in the pocket of my hoodie as I began to make my way out of the library.

"I'm going for a walk."

"What about the entries?!!" She began to protest.

"I'll do them when I get back. Don't worry about it."

"Okay, want me to come with you?"

"No, you stay here and get some rest. I'll go alone."

She snapped the book shut. "I really don't mind. I-"

"Tooth, no. I want to go alone."

"But-"

"I swear to god Tooth if you follow me I will freeze your ass! Do I make myself clear," I said in a stern tone.

"C-crystal."

"Good. I'll see you at dinner." And with those last few words I made my way out of the library, out of North's home and finally into the forest. Using the winter wind to help me in flight. For some reason I decided to go to that lake again. The one where I had first laid my eyes on Elsa. Soaring above the trees I soon made it to my destination, but I was stopped as I saw a figure in black standing before the water. Landing in a tree, I sat one of it's branches...watching the figure carefully.

❄️ Elsa's P.O.V ❄️

There's was silence and only silence. Standing in front of the lake I slowly took my hoodie of my head. Letting it fall upon my back as I peered down at the little hole of water I had left from last time. Peering upon my alternate reflection as the girl with platinum blonde hair and blue eyes stared up at me. She...she looked so innocent, so content with her life and yet she seemed...troubled. Conflicted as if she bared a heavy weight upon her pale shoulders. If this girl is me and I am her...then...what happened? What had made me forget...what had made me change? Was it some enemy who found a opportunity by taking my memories away? Or...

did I ask for them to be taken?

And if I did ask for them to be taken...why? Why did I do such a dreadful thing? Why did I ask to forget myself completely? What did I choose...to let go? What did...I...lose?

"I thought you learned your lesson from last time." A deep husky voice spoke from behind. Sending chills through my spine with every word he spoke. I turned, already knowing who I would find and yet...my breath was still taken away. His wooden staff stabbed the white snow as he stood barefoot upon the cold sleets of ice. His white hair seeming sexily messy as he looked at me with electrifying blue eyes. I looked to him, trying to be steady but on the inside I was swooning.

"What are you doing back here...snowflake?" Something flashed in his eyes once he spoke my so called "nickname", making me shudder as the tingles only multiplied.

"In fact...I was looking for you Jack Frost." I spoke breathless. Seeing how his lips part and his eyes darken once I spoke his name. Oh god, what on earth is going on with me? He swallowed, his lips trying to form words as he stared deeply in my eyes.

"And why were you trying to find me Elsa?" Oh god, here come more of the tingles. I took a step forward, clearing my own throat as we only stood five feet away.

"I...I think I know you. Three months ago my memories were taken and I'm not sure who I am. I know my name is Elsa and I know I have powers like you, but the rest is a blank."

"And you think I could help? Why?"

"Yes, because I think I knew you before I forgot who I was. I think you are some great importance to me cause every time you're around I...I feel things."

"What kind of things?" He questioned, taking several steps forward so we were only a foot away. His blue eyes boring into mine with so much intensity it made my insides flip.

"Um..." I bit my bottom lip, feeling my cheeks turn red. "...like tingles whenever you say my name or...touch me."

"So...like this," he questioned in a seductive tone. Moving his hand as he slowly placed it upon my cheek. Making my breath hitched once his fingers came in contact with my skin, a sensation of tingles going off. My breath became shallow as I stared in his eyes, his thumb slowly drawing circles upon my cheek. I swallowed getting ready to answer his question.

"Y-yes."

As if in defeat, he reluctantly pulled his hand from my face. Sighing as he shook his head slightly. "You don't even know me, how could you trust me?"

"I don't trust you...but you're my only hope."

It was silent as he stared at me. Hoping that he would find something that laid there in my eyes. Some kind of recognition, or maybe trust. He was searching for something, something even I wasn't sure about.

"Alright...what do I have to do?"

"I'm...I'm not completely sure. I don't know how to even begin."

"You...you said you felt something whenever I said your name or...when ever I touched you correct?" He questioned.

"Y-yes," I replied, wondering where he was going with this.

"Then let's start there. Give me your hand."

"What?"

"Give me your hand." He demanded softly, extending his free hand out towards me. Hesitantly I placed my hand on top of his. Seeing a image once our fingers touched, making me flinch as I recoiled my hand away. Jack raised one of his eyebrows in questioning my motives.

"What?"

"I..." I paused looking at my hand and then at his. "...I thought I saw something."

He gave me a small smile, "then what are you waiting for? Give me your hand."

Nodding, I slowly placed my hand on top of his once more. His fingers holding my hand in a elegant way as the heat and tingles spread from his touch through out my body. An image of a little girl flashing in my mind as he stroked his fingers across my skin.

"I...I saw it again, but for only a second. I-"

"You need me to touch you more?" He whispered seductively. His eyes showing that he would jump at the chance to do so. He wanted to hold me and god knows I wanted him to. Timidly I nodded, biting my bottom lip nervously as he let go of my hand. Tilting my chin up as he looked deeply in my eyes. Slowly, he hooked the end of his staff around my waist. Pulling me closer until we were chest and chest, my body burning up with the impact of his body against mine. Dropping his staff he placed his hands upon my hips, burying his fingernails slightly into my skin as he pulled me closer. Fighting the urge to moan as his hands slowly traveled from my hips to my thighs and then slowly back up to my hips again. My hands clutching his shirt tightly as they laid on his chest, the girl flashing in my head once again. Except this time it was more detailed, ginger red hair that was tied into two short pigtails. Very faint freckles as she looked at me with green eyes, her lips were moving but no words were coming through.

"More," I spoke breathless and he complied. Wrapping his arms around my waist as he nuzzled his nose against my neck. His hot breath raising goosebumps on my skin as I moaned his name.

"Jack."

He growled, nipping softly on my skin as I felt his teeth across it. "Say my name again. Say it." He demanded sharply. My heart pounding a million miles as the girl with ginger pigtails and green eyed flashed in my mind once more. It...was working.

"Say it."

"Jack," I whispered and he purred. His lips exploring my neck as he left hot, open, mouth kisses upon it. Making me ache with want and need as I pressed my body against him, feeling his define hip bones just above my waist. He continue to kiss my neck...each one unlocking a new memory, a new word all told by the same little girl.

"Elsa."

"The sky's awake so I'm awake, which means we have to play."

"Do you want to a build snow man? Come on let's go and play."

"Elsa...I know you're in there. People are asking where've been, they say have courage and I'm try to. I'm right for you...just let me in. We only have each other...just you and me. What are we gonna do? Do you want to build a snowman?"

"For the first time in forever..."

"Please don't shut me out again. Please don't slam the door. You don't have to keep your distance anymore."

"Come home Elsa."

I pushed Jack away, taking a few steps away from him as I could think of one word and one word alone.

"Anna."
