A Confession
❄ Make sure to read the Authors note at the end of the Chapter ❄
You can't make a judgment unless you know the two sides of the same story. Two sides, two minds, two souls, all leading up to the story...that must be told.

RAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
A roar as loud as thunder erupted the sky. My eyes snapped toward it, feeling a shudder run through my spine as it came into my view. Dancing through the air as it wings tore up the sky, the creature folded it's wings, making it dive like a missle. It was at this time I knew it was landing and...it was coming after me. I didn't run because...well, I wasn't scared, I was still and calm as the creature known as the dragon stood before me.
She picked up her head in a beautiful motion, her wings expanding as she looked upon me with her piercing glass eyes. She was entirely made out of ice, making her body translucent and fragile. She looked upon me with familiar and loving eyes, eyes that pinged a feeling of remembrance. A feeling that this was my dragon, that I was the one...that created such a masterpiece as this. I took a step towards her, wanting to touch her, to calm her. She lowered her head menacingly as she gave out a threatening roar, bearing her teeth in front of me.
I stopped.
"You know me..." I paused as she perked her head up in surprise.
"You remember me...but I...don't remember you," I cooed softly. She looked at me with kindness and unknowing. As if trying to figure what I meant by "I...don't Remeber you".
"So..." I took a step forward, extending my hand out in the air to her. She bowed her head softly, reaching her muzzle out to my hand so she may smell it. So she can tell that I was no threat, that I was......who she thought I was.
"...let me get to know you," I cooed, taking another step, cautious of what she will do. Will she trust me or bite me? After a few minutes of hesitation she slowly, softly placed her muzzle into the palm of my hand, she was cold to the touch. I stared up into her cystalized eyes as she peered into mine, slowly bringing her forehead to mine as they pressed together. My eyed widen as memories of her flashed into mine, memories that were blurred and vague, I couldn't see them clearly, but I could feel them. Memories so warm and dear to me they made me smile as their warm fuzzy feeling spread through my body. I held her head on my hands, feeling how sharp and edgy she was.
"Celest..." I said her name softly, making her perk her head a bit.
"Why did I make you so fragile, so edgy, so cold?" As I spoke this sentence, snow began to swirl around Celest, the snow compacting to her body. She stood still as I took a step back, she was calm as I began to direct the snow around her, making her new. Making her...more alive. The snow swirled around her with power as it began to cover her body. Her tail, her legs, her wings, her neck, her head, I watched slowly as the last bit of snow covered her piercing eyes. I closed my eyes, compacting the snow against her as she began to reform. My eyebrows furrowed in concentration, my hands crunching as I heard snow shuffle and move and that is when I heard it. That's when I heard...
A Heart beat. A warm breath.
My eyes snapped open, my blood red eyes ablaze as they danced with power. The pounding of the heart beat banged in my ears as the quick breaths made my heart flutter. I held my hands in front of myself commanding the snow to loosen it's grip, then with a flick of my hands the snow separated, falling to the ground as it now revealed...the new Celest.
I stood there in awe as she stared upon me with white eyes.
She was no longer translucent, instead of being made out of ice...she was now flesh and bone. Her scales were painted in various blues and whites as they were tinted with a hint of green. Her body was now slimmed and figured as her muscles were strong and tight. Her head was shaped to fit her body perfectly as two long horns came from her forward, smaller spikes going done her spine. Her wings were strong and powerful as she stretched them in a graceful motion. Her tail was long and slim as it ended in a spade like shape. Her beating heart pound at the same time as mine, she was now alive, no longer a creature of the in between.
(Look at the picture to see how Celest looks like)
She walked up to me, placing her forehead against mine once more in gratitude.
I chuckled, "your welcome...now, where shall we fly first?"
❄ Manny's P.O.V ❄
"North? Jack? Sandy? Tooth? Bunny?" I yelled as I looked frantically for them. Standing in the globe room as I stood before it. Urgh...where are you guys!
"MANNY!"
My head snapped to the voice who spoke my name. I sighed with relief as I saw North running into the room with the rest of the Guardians not far behind. I walked towards them as they ran towards me, meeting somewhere in the middle of our paths.
"Manny, what's the matter? What's going on?" North questioned.
"What's going on!? Why haven't you been answering me?!" I said almost infuriated.
"What are you talking about?" Bunny questioned dumbfounded.
"I've been trying to get a hold of you, why haven't you been answering me?"
They all looked at each other dumbfounded. Sandy made a question mark over his head as he shrugged his shoulders, bunny mimicking Sandy's shrug. Jack looked at me with questioning eyes as North contemplated. My eyes snapped to Tooth and I saw that she was...smirking? Was she smirking? I shook my head, getting myself back on topic.
"Forget it, we'll deal with that later. Right now I need your help." I paused as all their eyes snapped to me.
"I need your help, Elsa's missing-"
"Elsa?"
I froze, my heart stopping as I looked at Jack. Everyone else's eyes following mine as we all now looked upon Jack.
"What?" I asked in a hush whisper, my eyes widening in shock.
"Who's Elsa?" He repeated in a questioning tone.
I took a step forward as my heart dropped, my eyebrows coming together in concern.
"You...you don't know who Elsa...is?" I barely got the words out of my throat.
He shook his head, no.
My eyes widen, "How can you not know her?! Elsa...she was, she was your girl-"
"Your imagination..." Tooth cut me off, folding her arms over her chest as she looked at me with narrow eyes.
"Right Manny? Elsa is your imaginary daughter, the child you always wished to have, am I correct?"
"What?!" I snarled, my eyes narrowing at her. "What are you-"
"Admit it Manny. Elsa never existed, she wasn't even real!"
"Tooth what are you saying?" I barked.
She smirked, her eyes flashing something that I didn't quite catch. Something...something's wrong, something's terribly wrong.
"Elsa never existed! She's just a figment of your imagination so you wouldn't feel so lonely anymore! Just a imaginary friend to fill up the lonely parts of your pathetic life!"
"Manny? Is this true?" North questioned.
"What...no! It's not-"
"Of course it is! If it wasn't how come we haven't seen her! How come we haven't heard of her! Huh! Manny is lying to us!" Tooth spatted.
"I'm not lying! You have met her! You have seen her!"
"Then how come we don't remeber her!"
"I-"
"I'm not chasing ghost for you! Go find her yourself but don't drag us into it! Come on guys...let's get out of here."
Tooth began to leave as the others followed her, giving me glares of disappointment on their way out. I stood there...frozen, staring at the door as I watched them leave. My jaw tight as my hands tightened into fist, my muscles tense as I grind my teeth together. I growled punching the pillar of stone in front of me, my fist leaving a giant crack in the rock.
What the hell is going on?
❄ Pitch's P.O.V ❄
I sat at the kitchen counter, my black pen scribbling on the paper that laid before me. The father clock ticking away as it filled the quietness of the home. I looked up at the clock, Elsa left an hour ago, what on earth is she doing? I ran my fingers through my bangs as I felt something nudge my leg. I looked down, smiling as the black wolf stared at me with it's beautiful green eyes. I extended my hand out to it, petting it's head, his black fur soft to the touch. He placed his head on my lap, enjoying the comforting touch of his master.
This is Kaname (Kah-nah-meh), my familiar. A familiar is a spirit or demon who tends only to one person, to one master. A familiar can change it's shape to any living creature, most familiars choose to take an animal form but they may take a human form if needed. Kaname's main form is a black wolf but he will change shape if I need him to do a certain task. But...it's always nice to have a wolf around the house. Kaname has been with me ever since I became Pitch Black, I found him one day in the forest when I was training to become a Guardian, but that's another story.
"Kaname," I said softly. My hand stopping on the back of his neck as his ears perked up to my voice.
"I need you to do me a favor."
He moved his head from my lap as he looked at me. His vibrant green eyes giving me a "what" expression. I bended down, holding his face in my hands as I looked him straight in the eyes.
"I need you to find Elsa, can you do that for me?"
He nodded as he began to change his body. He got smaller, his muzzle turning into a sharp like beak, his front legs into wings and his back legs into talons. His tail become a long trail of three large black feathers. His green eyes stayed the same as he now looked at me in the form of a black Pheonix. I extended my arm out in front of me, folding it so he may perch on it. He spread his wings, flapping them once in a elegant manner as he lifted off the ground. Carefully wrapping his talons around my arm as he folded his wings once more, staring at me with eyes that always held the color of emerald. I petted his cheek with the front of my fingers, letting them bend slightly into my palm as he nudged them, letting me give my appreciation.
"Thank you, now please go find Elsa and if she's in trouble bring her straight back here. Do you understand?"
He nodded, his beak slightly bobbing.
"Good...now go." I ushered and he took off.
Spreading his wings, flapping them powerful as he took flight. I watched as he flew around the room and out the window, a faint trail of black smoke and golden embers following behind him. I sighed, my eyes lingering out the window to make sure that he made it out alright.
Knock, Knock.
It was at this time there was a knock at the door. I froze, wondering who are earth it could be. It couldn't possibly Elsa...could it?
Knock, Knock.
The knock was more urgent and demanding, commanding that I open the door this instant. I growled, standing up from the kitchen counter as I head for the door. Who on earth would dare to knock on the King of Nightmare's door?
Knock-
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" I said in a harsh tone.
My hand grabbed the door handle, ripping the door open. Cursing as the cold wind hit my face, I opened my mouth to say something...but I stopped once I saw...who was upon my door. My grip on the handle tighten as my other hand gripped the door frame, my breath becoming shallow as I was frozen in shock.
She looked up at me with timid eyes as I looked down at her with confusion. Her purple eyes dancing with remembrance and another emotion that I can't place. A gray trench coat hid her beautiful slim figure as a white shirt and black jeans covered her body. Her long vibrant red hair dancing in the cold wind. Her lips, were a pale shade of pink as her eyebrows came together in pain and...conflict.
"Saraphine," I said in a hush whisper.
She cracked a small smile, her eyes softening to ease as her eyebrows did the same. I stifled my breath, trying to control my rapid beating heart.
"Hello...Pitch Black. I missed you." She cooed. I could feel a wave of pain overcome my heart.
"I..." I looked down, conflicted on what to do. "Saraphine what are you doing here?"
She took a step forward as she searched for my eyes. I looked up at her, our eyes connecting once more.
"There's something...I need to ask you. M-may I come in?" She asked timidly.
I stepped aside, my hand falling from the door frame as I continued to grip the handle. My grip not unwavering as I use the handle as a restraint. I extended my other hand into the home, welcoming her as she stood still.
"If you're not afraid to enter my lair," I spoke in a monotone tone.
She walked in without saying a word, the smell of her passing by me. I took in a deep breath, her scent lingering in the air as I closed the door behind me. She stopped and looked at me with eyes that held so many questions, questions that only I had the answers to. I walked up to her, walking passed her as her shoulder brushed against mine. A shock of electricity running up my spine from her touch.
"Come, we'll talk in the globe room." I spoke as I continued to walk.
She placed her trench coat on one of the kitchen stools before she began to walk behind me. Her black and white converses tapping the floor as she walked. She walked with confidence as she walked deeper and deeper into my home...unknowing that...
The little birdie has entered the monster's lair.
❄
"What is your question, Saraphine?" I asked as I turned around. The black steel globe standing behind me as it glowed with golden dots. Dots that represented every child that believes and will forever believe. She looked at me timid, her height was a few inches shorter than me, making me looked down as she looked up in order to meet my eyes. She took a step forward, biting her bottom lip in nervousness as we stood a few feet apart.
"Saraphine...ask you question," I said softly. Shoving my hands in the pockets of my black jeans. She looked at me, standing up straight as her eyes now showed determination and strength. This was the Saraphine I remembered, the person who was my definition of my beauty.
"Pitch...I need you to be honest with me, alright? No lies, no tricks, nothing. I need you to tell me-"
"Yes," I said, cutting her off.
"What?" She looked at me confused.
I sighed, looking down as I allowed my black bangs to cover my eyes. I was in my true form, I wasn't wearing the Pitch costume that I used to hide my identity. I...I threw away that thing three months ago, when Elsa began to live with me. I wasn't going to wear that costume ever again, I was going to let them see the real me...I'm done hiding who I really am.
"Yes, I have Elsa." I said with more confidence. Looking up at her with my vibrant yellow eyes. She began to shake her head in disbelief, she...she didn't want me to be the one who took Elsa. She didn't want me to be guilty.
"No y-" she began.
"She just went for a walk. She's been living with me for three months, I haven't hurt her. You're probably wondering why I haven't started a war...aren't you?"
She nodded. I took a step forward, our eyes locked together as I removed my hands from my pockets.
"I haven't started a war...because I don't want to be evil anymore. I don't want to be a monster...I didn't want to cause misery for my brother. I didn't want to hurt you. I was going to stop the plan after Manny came to see me. I was going to end it all but-"
"Why didn't you?" She questioned calmly, taking another step forward.
"Because Tooth threatened to kill you."
"What?"
"Tooth, became my partner in this plan. It was a fair trade, I would get Elsa and she would get Jack, but when I decided to not do the plan anymore. When I decided to end this plan, to give up, she...she threatened to kill Jack and she threatened to kill you. If I didn't follow threw with the plan, if I didn't take away Elsa's memories...she was going to kill you. I could never let that happen...so I did what she said and took away Elsa's memories."
Saraphine looked down, soaking in all the information I just told her. Letting this idea marinade into her mind as she contemplated whether it was true or not. I stood in awe as I looked upon her, her vibrant red hair cascading down her shoulders as her mind was busy at work. Her legs and arms still as her vibrant purple eyes gleamed. You really don't know Saraphine...you really don't know that I-
"How am I suppose to believe you? How am I suppose to know that you're not lying?" She asked softly as pain and confliction gleamed in her eyes.
I took another step forward, the distance between us closing to only a few inches.
"You're not, but...you know me, Saraphine."
I paused as I slowly placed my right hand on her waist, making her shudder at the touch of it. I slowly, gently grabbed her right hand, her hand felt small compared to mine. I placed her hand on my chest, right above my beating heart as my hand trapped her's there. My fingertips landing in between her fingers as her palm felt the drum of my heart, making her blush. She couldn't look at me, afraid that I would laugh at her blushing face. I leaned in, placing my mouth next to her ear, making her flinch slightly as my hot breath grazed her ear every now and then. I whispered...
"So you're the only person who should be able to tell whether I am lying or not."
"Pitch-"
"Someone's coming," I said breaking away from her.
"What!? who?"
"Hurry hide in the steel globe."
"But it's see threw, it's only made out of steel bars."
"I enchanted it. It will turn you invisible once you get inside. You will be able to see us but we won't be able to see you. It will hide your aura as well, making it impossible to detect you."
"But how am I suppose to get in?"
"I'm going to teleport you in there and don't say a word. No matter what happens."
"But-"
"Not a sound."
I snapped my fingers, making black smoke swirl around her. Once the smoke vanished I knew she was safe inside the globe as she no longer stood before me. There was a click as one of the doors to the globe room swung open. She stood there with a smirk, her purple eyes darkening to a familiar black. She walked in, swaying her hips in triumph as her wings draped behind, her smirk turning into a wicked grin. I glared at the snake that was before me.
"Hello Deary, missed me?" Her voice was wicked and harsh.
I growled as my hands became fist.
"Hello...Tooth."
