A Snow Filled Night

Writer's note:

I hope you will enjoy this fanfic, I have never written one before, or really read any for that matter. I wanted the setting to be at the beginning of Trinket and Hibeki's relationship while it takes place in a modern au. I would also like to mention that this fanfic will include nsfw content later on, so if that is something you are not comfortable with feel free to skip parts of chapter 3 (you can notice when the nsfw takes place/starts), if you skip until chapter 4 you should be good. Now that I am done rambling let's get on with the actual fic, enjoy!

-1-

On a cold snowy night the lights of the city would cast a dim, warm light throughout the streets, it was quite late at night so few people were outside, probably also due to the cold weather. Hibeki on the other hand was hard at work inside the bakery he works at "I'm gonna be late for the last train of the night if I don't hurry" he mumbled to himself while rushing into the kitchen with boxes filled with baking ingredients. He felt extremely stressed as the time was moving by the second, Hibeki was sure he had never closed up the bakery this fast in his entire life, "I should be able to catch the last train just in time" he thought to himself, but while thinking that the front door of the bakery opened followed by the ringing sound of the bell hanging above the door, and in came a tall looking man. He was full of snow and one could hardly make out any of his facial features, he started brushing snow off his coat as he walked closer to the front counter, Hibeki was so caught off guard that the final box of baking ingredients he was supposed to put away fell onto the floor, a loud thud came from it and flour spilled all over the place. Hibeki was frozen still, he could not believe this had just happened "Just my luck" he mumbled before quickly adding on a "Sorry we're closed for the night" while still looking at the spilled flour on the floor. The man that had entered started shaking his head "'tsk tsk, can't believe you didn't recognize me" the man said in disbelief before revealing his face by taking off his scarf, and to Hibeki's surprise it was his boyfriend Trinket standing right in front of him.

Hibeki's clothes were covered in flour as he stood there staring at Trinket "What the hell are you doing here!?" he commented, seeming annoyed. Trinket slowly approached Hibeki and started carefully wiping some flour off his face, his touch was gentle and soothing which made Hibeki feel at ease instantly. "I just wanted to see my boyfriend, is that so wrong?" Trinket said warmly with a heartfelt smile. Hibeki quickly turned his head while pushing Trinket's hand away, "N-no.. just stay out of the way, I missed the last train because of you!" he mumbled while his cheeks were glowing red. Trinket stepped to the side and watched as Hibeki started sweeping up the flour "Sure you don't want any help? It was my fault after all, so I feel guilty" he asked while quickly checking his phone to see the time. "No, you just stay put-" Hibeki answered with an annoyed tone, Trinket then quickly interrupted him "Well, do you know where you'll be staying tonight then?" he asked with a smug look on his face while being fully aware that Hibeki would not have anywhere to stay for the night. Hibeki stopped and seemed hesitant; he gripped on tighter to the broom he was holding before letting out a muffled "No...". Trinket stepped forward and bowed down to look directly at Hibeki's face as he smiled at him "Hmm, well, would you like to stay at my place then? But only if you let me help you." he explained with a serious tone to his voice as he leaned in closer to Hibeki's face. Hibeki looked confused. "What kind of deal is that?" he asked while leaning his head backwards, Trinket's face was too close and it made Hibeki feel warm inside, it was hard for him to think of a good response when his heart would not stop beating. Trinket kept staring at him waiting for his reply, "Fine fine, here take this and get to work!" he said as he shoved his broom towards Trinket and walked off "Then you clean the rest while I get a change of clothes!" he quickly added on before disappearing into the staff room.

Trinket sighed and finished up cleaning the floor with a pleased look on his face, he finished up rather quickly and put the broom back to its place behind the counter, he then sat down by one of the tables inside the bakery to wait for Hibeki. Trinket found himself staring outside the window lost in thought, he kept thinking how nice it was that he could finally spend some time with Hibeki, it had been over a month after all. The snow outside fell down slowly and it felt as if time was standing still, the warm light from the streetlamps cast a glistening look on Trinket's long eyelashes as his eyes followed the falling snowflakes. The streets were completely empty, "How nice would it be if the world was like this; quiet, calm and with only me and Hibeki" he thought to himself. The sound of a door opening interrupted Trinket's train of thoughts, and the cozy atmosphere he had created for himself quickly disappeared as Hibeki came out of the staff room "Ok let's go, I'm tired" Hibeki complained while fetching his winter coat off the coat rack hanging on the wall behind the front counter. Trinket was a bit startled and quickly jumped out of the chair "Aaah yes haha, should we grab something to eat on the way back?" he asked as he started putting on his coat as well. Hibeki walked towards the exit while letting out a visible sigh "It's the same for me, anything is fine" he said while opening the front door. Trinket quickly ran after while wrapping his scarf around his neck "Is fried chicken fine then? It's probably the only thing we can get at this hour" he asked while gesturing Hibeki to walk out first, and he then followed. Hibeki pulled out his keys from the coat pocket before locking the door. "As I said, it's the same for me, just get anything. I don't care..." he said with a cold tone. This made Trinket feel a bit taken aback, he quickly laughed it off and added on a "Well that's that, let's go get some chicken then haha."

The two of them started walking down the cold snow-covered street, they were the only people there. Trinket then hesitantly moved his hand closer to Hibeki's, they were walking right beside each other, but Trinket felt that something was holding him back. "Maybe I did something wrong?" he thought to himself as he pulled his hand back, but right after doing so, Trinket managed to slip on some ice that was hidden underneath the snow. He quickly fell backwards, but Hibeki caught him just in time. "Be more careful you bastard, you keep spacing out." he pointed out as he looked Trinket directly into his eyes which made him realize the situation, his face then turned bright red and he was so shocked that he dropped Trinket onto the ground. "OW! Why'd you drop me?" he asked as he started getting back up while brushing off the snow he got covered with. Hibeki looked away to hide his face and then blurted out "You're too heavy! Lose some weight." before continuing walking. Trinket quickly followed after and he didn't seem too pleased. "No, seriously tell me! Is something wrong?" he shouted while trying to regain eye contact, but Hibeki did not budge, he then avoided the question by asking "Hey, isn't that the chicken place? Let's go". Trinket kept getting more annoyed by the second "Don't ignore my question!" he shouted after him as Hibeki went into the chicken shop, Trinket then stood still for a little as he shook his head "Something is definitely bothering him, but what exactly?" he contemplated with a puzzled look on his face. He started walking towards the chicken shop as well "I should ask again once we get back" he thought while entering the shop. He was then greeted by the sight of Hibeki ordering their meals and the atmosphere of the shop was rather awkward. Trinket looked around and he, Hibeki, and the one employee were the only people there. Both of them were standing there waiting for their food to be finished, the employee was working behind the counter and Hibeki would not even give Trinket a quick glance. Trinket felt nervous and started tapping his foot while aimlessly looking around, all the tables had been cleaned and the chairs had been lined up nicely, it seemed as if the chicken shop was about to close as well. After what felt like ages, which in reality had only been around five minutes, they got their food, and Hibeki ended up paying for it before walking out of the shop, Trinket quickly thanked the employee before running after Hibeki. "I need to talk to him, he's normally not like this..." he thought as he was steadily catching up to Hibeki.

Not long after he was walking beside Hibeki again, the snow was getting quite heavy and the streets were still as empty as earlier. The air around them was still awkward but Trinket decides to break the silence "I'm aware I already asked, but please, what's bothering you? You can tell me... I'm worried about you." he said with a worried tone as he gave Hibeki a troubled look. Hibeki stopped and looked away from Trinket to avoid his gaze. "You just... you" it was hard for him to convey his feelings and he ended up quickly turning to Trinket before grasping onto his coat, while holding his head against Trinket's chest, hiding his face.

Trinket was so surprised he was unsure how to react, instead of doing or saying anything he only stood still while letting Hibeki take his time. He could feel Hibeki's hands trembling as he was holding onto his coat, he could sense that Hibeki wanted to tell him something, and he would give him all the time he needed to do that. Patiently they stood outside in the snow that was slowly covering up the darker colors of their coats, it was as if the world stood still and Trinket slowly wrapped his arms around Hibeki. The warmth from Trinket's arms was so comforting, Hibeki had been longing for this, he missed Trinket but he had been too scared to tell him. All his emotions came crashing down at this moment as his eyes were getting heavier while filling up with tears. Slowly his tears ran down his cheeks, they felt warm in contrast to the snowy weather the both of them emerged in. "Why did you leave for a whole month?" Hibeki then muttered with a shaky voice due to the crying. Trinket's eyes widened, he opened his mouth but he had no time to reply before Hibeki kept talking. "I was so worried you'd gotten tired of me, or that you ignored me on purpose... I know I never tried calling or messaging you so it's partly my fault... but it confuses me when you leave for a long time and then suddenly show up as if nothing happened..." he explained while his voice got shakier and shakier with each word. Trinket was unsure what to say, he was quite taken aback and his thoughts were scattered. He hugged Hibeki in a tighter embrace as he slowly leaned his head against Hibeki's shoulder "I'm sorry... I never intended to make you feel hurt, in all honesty, I missed you too... but I was unable to come see you" he explained as he clasped on tighter to Hibeki's coat. Hibeki felt relieved that Trinket missed him too, at least he was not ignoring him. "Why did you leave then, where did you go?" Hibeki asked hesitantly, he was afraid Trinket could not tell him. Trinket then started caressing Hibeki's head as he slowly moved his hand through Hibeki's white hair that blended in perfectly with the snowy landscape, "The truth is a quite popular music label noticed my music, so they invited me to come work on a future album that'll be released..." he explained as he steadily let go of Hibeki.

Hibeki was quite astounded to hear the news "Huh!? So that's why, but that's amazing you should have told me sooner... no wonder you were so busy" he said as a smile started to form on his face while looking up at Trinket. Trinket let out a soft laugh and smiled back at Hibeki while wiping away some of his tears "Haha, I was planning on telling you, in fact, I couldn't wait, but I promised I wouldn't tell you anything until I had fully made the deal with the music label." he explained. Hibeki felt a huge relief as he heard Trinket's reason "I see, I'm very happy for you, I know you've dreamed of having your own album one day. Promise me I'll be the first person to listen to it haha" Hibeki said half-jokingly while smiling happily towards Trinket. "Well, of course, I'll make sure no one listens to it before you haha" Trinket said in return as his eyes averted their gaze onto the bag of fried chicken. "Uhm Hibeki, you know that fried chicken... I think it might be cold now" he explained as he pointed towards the bag Hibeki was holding. Hibeki stopped for a second and looked at the bag before looking back up at Trinket "Oh damn, you're right... this probably won't taste too good cold" he expressed while looking a bit let down. Trinket tried assuring him that it would be alright "Haha don't worry too much, we can just quickly head over to my place I'm sure there's something we can use in the fridge". Hibeki gave him a slight smile "Yea, I guess you're right, should we head to your place then?" he said as they both walked towards the building Trinket lives in. Their hands were locked onto each other as the heavy snowfall started clearing up.

As they were walking down the snow-covered street it did not take long before they arrived at Trinket's apartment. Hibeki was looking around, the building was quite tall and the area was rather new, it had been a while since he was last here. Both of them then entered the building and walked to the elevator, they are still holding hands but none of them are saying a word. Trinket pressed the button that takes them to the 5th floor, as the elevator starts moving Hibeki suddenly feels a wave of nerves crash over him. "Wait, what's gonna happen now?" he thought to himself as he quickly averted his gaze towards Trinket, he looked completely calm compared to himself. "I wanna be closer to him..." he thought, his chest started beating faster, this was a feeling that was completely different from before, his head was spiraling and all he could think about was how he wanted to give his everything to Trinket.

A small beep sound came from the elevator and the door opened, both of them walked out of the elevator and Trinket looked over at Hibeki "You alright? You seem nervous..." he asked with a concerned expression. Hibeki looked up at him "N-no... I just thought that we're all alone, so I started thinking a lot" he explained as his face slowly started glowing red while gripping tighter to Trinket's hand. Trinket let out a low, soft laugh "Don't worry, you'll be fine" he reassured Hibeki as he unlocked and opened the door to his apartment.

They entered the apartment and Trinket locked the door behind him, he then turned on the lights but only to the point where they would cast a warm, dim light throughout the apartment. Hibeki started taking off his coat and took a look around; in front of the big windows showcasing the snow-filled city were several potted plants, in the corner of the room was a small kitchen fit perfectly for one to two people, it was quite clean with only some cookbooks laying on the counter. On the other side of the room was a double bed, above the bed, there were some hanging plants and fairy lights. Lastly, Hibeki also noticed Trinket's guitar and some music sheets that were laying beside the bed. The apartment smelled like nature mixed with honey, it was a cozy and homey feeling, and it reminded Hibeki of Trinket. Hibeki's train of thoughts was quickly interrupted as Trinket asked "Do you like it here" while slowly wrapping his arms around Hibeki from behind. Hibeki nodded as he could feel Trinket only getting closer. His body started to get warmer and he put his hands onto Trinket's as they stood there gazing out of the big windows, the snow had started to fall again, but only gently. Everything added onto the atmosphere and Trinket slowly moved his head closer to Hibeki's before gently kissing him.

Hibeki started kissing Trinket back, he had been longing for this feeling for so long. The slow and gentle kiss gradually turned more passionate as Trinket slipped in his tongue and gently moved his hand up to Hibeki's chest. He could feel his heart beating "I can hear your heart beating haha, it's going crazy" he whispered into Hibeki's ear before passionately kissing his neck, leaving a few marks behind. Hibeki's mind was only focused on the moment as he could feel Trinket's warm tongue and breath against his skin, it was all too much for him to handle but he wanted more. Hibeki then felt Trinket's hand move as he started to unbutton his shirt, his long slim fingers were so smooth and soothing to the touch, Hibeki could only let out a few heavy breaths, he did not want Trinket to stop.

Trinket started taking Hibeki's shirt off, and he then started to touch his chest "How does it feel when I touch you here?" he asked lovingly while softly pinching his nipples. Hibeki's body was already flushed red and all he could let out was a quiet moan as Trinket kept fondling his chest. It felt so good to him, he never wanted this to end "P-please don't stop... I want more" Hibeki begged as he slowly lifted up his head to look back at Trinket, his cheeks were flushed red and his eyes were glistening. Trinket could not take his eyes off him, the feeling was mutual, he did not want this to stop either "I'll keep going for as long as you want" Trinket gently whispered before leaning in for another kiss. The sounds of the two of them breathing and kissing was filling up the room as they slowly made their way over to the bed.

Trinket pinned Hibeki down on the bed as he started to undress himself, Hibeki could not take his gaze away from him. Everything about him was perfect, his face and the loving expression he made as he looked at him, his body that was covered in freckles that resembled a starry sky, his chest that was beautifully sculpted, his golden eyes that shined as the lighting from outside hit them and his brown, soft hair that perfectly framed his face. Hibeki loved every single part of him, Trinket was the most beautiful man he had ever seen, and would ever see.

Trinket then started to move closer to Hibeki again, he started by undressing him while gently kissing his body. "You look so pretty" Trinket complimented as he caressed Hibeki's face, Hibeki blushed even more "You too" he mumbled in reply. All the words Trinket would tell him are just right, hearing his deep, soothing voice was so comforting it instantly put Hibeki at ease. As they continued passionately making out he could feel Trinket's hand moving closer to his rear, Hibeki flinched a little as he let out a soft moan. "It's been a while, are you alright?" Trinket asked as he started loosening Hibeki's behind. Hibeki nodded as he kept letting out soft moans, he could feel Trinket's fingers gently moving around, he then moved his hands up to feel Trinket's chest. His chest was rather big and Hibeki could not keep himself from carefully squishing it, as Hibeki was doing this Trinket only got more eager; his face was flushed in a warm blush, his body started to sweat and he pushed his fingers further in Hibeki's rear until he hit the spot. A bunch of electric signals were sent throughout Hibeki's body in an instant, it was overwhelming how good it felt so he let out a loud moan. Trinket then slowly pulled his fingers out and Hibeki's hole was already dripping wet "I think you're ready, it's pretty loose now" he explained as he reached back to get a condom from the nightstand. Hibeki was still breathing heavily "Are you sure it'll be fine?" he asked as he was catching his breath before looking up, it was then he noticed Trinket pulling out his thing as he put on the condom. "Don't worry I'll be gentle, and if you want me to stop you can always tell me" he explained as he readied himself. He slowly leaned over Hibeki and started kissing him again before thrusting inside him. Hibeki's back arched and he could feel Trinket being inside him, it felt as if his insides were filling up "Mhmm '' he let out as he continued making out with Trinket.

Trinket kept thrusting gently while both touching and kissing Hibeki, he let out some soft moans while doing so too. It all felt so good, Hibeki's insides were warm, his skin had a slight flush of red color and it was dripping in sweat, the faces he would make were only faces Trinket was allowed to see. This moment felt so special to them, and Trinket kept going even deeper before eventually thrusting so it all went inside. Hibeki could feel a small bulge form on his lower abdomen, he had taken in all of it and the feeling was overbearing. Hibeki let out a loud moan as he climaxed and came, his semen would splurt all over Trinket's body as he kept moving on top of him. As Trinket kept moving his face got even redder and right after Hibeki came he came too, the both of them were laying still while catching their breath. Trinket then slowly pulled out again and Hibeki's rear started dripping, even more, he also started moving his hands, then touching Hibeki's body. Hibeki was already hard again just from his touch "Want me to help?" Trinket asked as he slowly moved his head down while placing his lips on Hibeki's thing. Hibeki nodded as he started letting out soft moans again, the sensation was too good; Hibeki's toes clasped together as he could feel Trinket's saliva dripping down, it was so hot and soothing. "T-Trinket... ah I think I-I'm gonna cum again..." he tried warning him, but just as he had finished the sentence he came again and his cum filled up Trinket's mouth. Hibeki quickly sat up and put his hands forward "Ahh sorry... just spit it in here" he gestured, but Trinket shook his head and swallowed all of it. Hibeki's eyes widened in shock "Y-you didn't have to" he said with a worried tone as Trinket leaned forward to embrace him once again. His arms were completely wrapped around him, and Hibeki wrapped his arms around Trinket too, the both of them would sit like this for several minutes. "I love you" Trinket whispered lovingly into Hibeki's ear. Hibeki smiled warmly and rested his head on Trinket's shoulder "I love you too" he said back tenderly. Not long after they found themself laying down beside each other on the bed, still being intertwined in each other's embrace. Everything at this moment felt right and as the snow outside slowly fell to the ground they fell asleep.

The next morning Trinket was sound asleep on the bed, but he was soon awoken by the smell of freshly cooked pancakes filling up the room. He slowly sat up and looked around, Hibeki was not there, rather he was in the kitchen cooking. Trinket started rubbing his eyes and looked outside the window, it was not snowing anymore; the sky was painted in a clear blue color with barely any clouds. The snow from the day before was resting on the rooftops that were scattered around the city, it was a tranquil view. "Oh, you're up!" Hibeki commented as he turned around, he was wearing an apron that was a size one or two too big for him. Trinket looked over at him and got up from the bed while grabbing a robe before putting it on "Ah yea, are you making pancakes? It smells delicious" he complimented while walking into the kitchen. Hibeki smiled at him "Haha it's nothing, your cooking isn't the best so I decided I'd treat you" he teased before flipping another pancake. As a response Trinket put his arm on Hibeki's shoulder "Huh, my cooking is bad? Well I suppose you're right, at least compared to yours" he commented with a slight smirk before softly kissing Hibeki on the cheek once more.

Not long after the pancakes were ready and Trinket had finished setting the table. It was a lovely morning and the both of them ended up enjoying a delicious breakfast together. How lovely it would be if every day could be like this.

Final note:

Thank you for reading, I hope it was enjoyable to some degree. This is my first time ever writing something like this so I was quite nervous.

At first, this only started out as a joke, and well, after over 9 pages I am pretty sure we can conclude that this is not a joke anymore.

But thank you to everyone's encouragement while I was writing this, I might make more in the future, who knows.
