Day 3

The next morning, Cas had woken up before anyone else. He was bored and Dean was sleeping pretty soundly so the little angel decided to do some exploring. He'd never really gotten much chance to look around the bunker in detail. He thought today would be his opportunity.

Before he started his adventure, he left Dean a note so he wouldn't be worried out of his gourd whenever he woke up and noticed that his angel was missing.

The note read: "Dean, it's currently 5:00 A.M. I'm bored and I want to explore the bunker. If you wake up sometime just know I'm okay and Sam'll probably find me before you even read this, because knowing him, he'll most likely be up in half an hour. Just letting you know that nothing has happened to me and I'm alright.
-Castiel♡"

Cas laid the note in his cotton ball nest and then zapped himself to the library. He lifted himself onto the main research table and looked around at all the numerous books scattered as far as he could see. 'Man now I understand why Sam is always bitching that this place needs cleaning..'

The trench-coated angel walked among the many books and papers all around, stopping every few steps to glance at titles of research material and scribbles about the tablets that Kevin had made. He'd almost made his way to the end of the table when suddenly he heard a clang and a low grumble, like snoring. The mini Cas perked a bit upon hearing the sudden noise and started looking for the source of it. After a few minutes of searching the nearby space, he heard the sound again and followed it, making sure he was hearing the actual sound and not echoes like before.

When he finally came to the source of the strange noise, he called out softly, but still loud enough for whatever it was to hear him in his small form.
"Hello?"
The grumble sounded yet again and Cas drew a tad closer. He could see the shape of the thing producing the noise but he still wasn't sure what it was yet. After a few more seconds, Castiel realized that he was in the dungeon. Memories of the previous weeks spent in the bunker provided some reference as to what was in the shadows.

It was all so clear now. The angel stretched upwards in his place to try and get a better look at the figure.
"Crowley?" Cas eventually squeaked out.

"Who's there?" Crowley asked in his rich accent as he looked around, hearing the voice but not seeing who it was coming from.
"Down here!" Cas yelled causing Crowley to crane his neck towards the floor.
"Cas?! Is that you?"

Castiel couldn't go for this anymore; it was making his voice hoarse. The small angel zapped himself on top of the table Crowley was settled at. "It would seem so, yes."

"What the bloody Hell happened to you?" Crowley questioned as he looked the tiny Cas up and down.
"It's a long story...."
'Here we go again..'

Once Cas had finished retelling the story of how he became a few inches tall, he sat down and leaned against one of Crowley's shackles, waiting for some type of response from him. The demon was sitting there, rethinking everything he'd just been told.
"So your brother-"
"Yes."

"Wow Cas, that's some story.." Crowley stuck his tongue out in thought. "Pff yeah you're telling me."

A few minutes later, there was an alarm going off in Sam's room. The tall hunter groaned and rolled over to slap at his phone as he tried to get the alarm to stop. Once he did, he slumped his arm across his forehead, took a deep breath, and finally sat up and stretched, yawning.

He scratched at his head and slowly made his way to the kitchen. As he was passing through, he heard talking from inside of the dungeon. He slowly approached the entrance and peeked in. Crowley was talking to Castiel.

"Cas what the hell are you doing in here?!" Sam burst through the door and grabbed the small angel. "Sorry Sam. I was bored and went exploring but then I found Crowley and he wanted to know what happened to me."

Sam let out a frustrated sigh. "It's alright Cas.." he rubbed the bridge of his nose and went into the kitchen with the little angel. "You want anything to eat?"

"Sure. Could you maybe make some of your pancakes..?"

Sam chuckled. "Course Cas"

- - - - -
Dean woke up to the smell of pancakes. He rolled over. "Cas? You up?"
He saw the note. Quickly, Dean got out of bed. "Cas? Cas! Where are you?!"

Castiel heard Dean and immidiately zapped to his shoulder. "Here"
Dean just about had a heart attack on the spot. "Dammit Cas! How many times have I told you to quit doing that!!"

"Sorry Dean I didn't mean to scare you.." the angel frowned.
"It's okay Cas I'm sorry for yelling. I really need to tone that down." The hunter plucked Castiel gently from his shoulder and gave him a secure, yet gentle squeeze and patted his tiny head. Cas returned the hug by wrapping himself around Dean's finger and squeezing. For Cas, it was the closest thing to a full body hug.

"I take it that all is forgiven."
"Sure is, Cas. Sure is."

Dean took Cas back into the kitchen and they both helped Sam make more pancakes. A little while after the pancakes were made, a certain nerdy red head came waltzing into the library. "Morning bitches!! Ooh pancakes! I assume it's Sam's famous that I heard so much about!"

"Morning and yeah they are." Sam replied.
"They're damn good too!" Dean threw in, his mouth full of the freshly baked things. Cas nodded in agreement and motioned for Charlie to get some. She happily did and took a bite.
"OH MY GOD THESE ARE AMAZING"

Kevin was the last one to wake. "Coffee.." he trudged to the library. "Does anyone have coffee?"

"Oh hey Kev. Yeah there's some coffee and pancakes right over here."
Kevin eagerly got a cup of coffee and he got a couple pancakes as well.

Dean smiled. "Well then Kev, you seem good and rested now. You deserve a day off dude. No tablets today just R-E-L-A-X-A-T-I-O-N."

Kevin laughed and nodded at Dean as an 'okay mom' gesture.

After breakfast, the Winchesters glanced through the papers to see if there were any cases around the area. They found one in Sioux Falls. Again. "We'd better call Bobby." Sam called out. "Looks like there's a case. He probably already knows but he'll need some help, this seems pretty big."

"Yeah alright." Dean grabbed his cell phone and dialed Bobby's number. He tossed the phone to Sam. "Here you talk to him I gotta tell Cas how it's gonna go down while we're away."

Sam nodded and started asking Bobby about the case.

Dean went over to Cas, Charlie, and Kevin. "Okay guys so there's a case. Me and Sam have to go to Sioux Falls for a couple days and we need you guys to be safe, 'specially you Cas."

Dean cracked his knuckles and looked at the 3 of them once more. "So Cas you're not gonna go obviously. Don't wantcha getting hurt. Charlie, we need you to watch him and make sure he's okay. Kevin you leave the tablet alone and help out Charlie aight? Okay."

Charlie and Kevin nodded eagerly, excited to be caring for the mini Cas. Castiel was tired of being treated like a baby. "I am not a baby you know! I'm still an angel!! I can take care of myself!!!" Cas got so flustered that he tripped over his own feet and slid off the table. He couldn't activate his powers quick enough and he went slamming to the ground. He'd hit his head pretty hard. The tiny angel's eyes grew huge. His eyebrows turned upwards as his lip trembled and turned to a frown.

Slowly, a glowing silvery substance clouded over his eyes and spilled out over his eyelashes and onto the ends of his trenchcoat. The angel put his face in his hands and cried, the tears spilling out of his eyes.

"Oh Cas..." Dean stooped to pick him up and he held him close to his chest, stroking his back with his finger. Castiel cried into Dean's shirt.

"Hey, hey hey it's okay Cas shhh sh.." Dean held up the 'gimme a sec' finger to Charlie and Kevin and brought Castiel to his bedroom. Dean sat on his bed and continued to comfort the little angel. "I know it hurts Cas, I know. Here lemme see." Gently, he removed his hands from around the angel. Castiel's tiny head had blood running down it. "Shit okay hold on."

The hunter quickly grabbed a cotton ball from Cas's makeshift bed and pressed it against his head. Cas was getting a bit woozy. "Cas hey stay with me. You're gonna be alright." Castiel half nodded and came out of his dizzy-ish state when the wound was patched up.

Finally Dean walked out of the room with the small injured Castiel safe in his grasp. "Okay guys Sam and I need to hit the road. Take care of Cas he's still a little out of it. He hit his head pretty bad and he's got some head injury so please watch him carefully and uh don't let him do anything too strenuous. And you guys do the same. Keep your noses clean, take care of the angel, and most importantly nothing involving research or the tablets just RELAX. Got it?"

Charlie and Kev nodded. Cas tried to nod but he was too exhausted. "Ready Dean?" Sam asked as he stood at the bottom of the stairs. "Bobby's expecting us pretty soon. Don't wanna be late."
"Alright welp we're off guys. Oh and one more thing. Do me a favor and don't talk to the king of Hell over there." Dean made a bitchface towards the open dungeon door.

"Oh c'mon!" Crowley snarled. "You know Kev makes me tingle where my bathing suit goes. I want some of his blood at least once today! Please?!" Kevin stood up and walked to the dungeon opening.
"I DON'T GIVE BLOOD TO ANYONE WHO'S HURT MY MOM!! I'VE TOLD YOU THIS A BILLION TIMES CROWLEY!"

Dean rolled his eyes. "Hey! What did I just say about talking to him?! Just stop it! Ignore him! Something!! Okay now goodbye I love you nerds we'll see you in a couple days. Call if you need anything." Kevin sat back down trying to blow off steam and Sam was just waiting for Dean at the bunker door. "Dean!! Time's running out we're on a schedule type thing here so hurry your ass up jerk!"

"Bitch!" Dean shouted as he ran after Sam.

~Time skip brought to you by Misha's gorgeous eyes~

Sam and Dean arrived at Bobby's place a few hours after leaving the bunker. "Hey Bobby" Sam said as him and Dean walked in. Bobby was at his desk, as usual. "Hey ya idjits. Bout time you got here!" He stood and hugged both the boys then they sat down to briefly discuss their plan for the case before charging into it.

Meanwhile back at the bunker...

"Kevin!! Give him back!!" Charlie screamed as Kevin ran off down the hall with Cas. "We're supposed to be taking care of him not fighting over who's gonna do what with him!!!"

Cas's head was spinning from the injury and the way the woman of letters and the prophet were fighting over him was making the headaches and dizziness worse. "Guys..." Cas felt like he was gonna throw up, pass out, or both. "You're gonna break something..." Cas swallowed and then shook his head back and forth as he tried to not pass out.

Crowley was watching the whole thing from his position in the dungeon. He'd tried to stop them from hurting Cas but they wouldn't listen. Every time he tried to say something all he'd get in response was a unified, "Shut up Crowley!"

Lucky for Castiel and Crowley, Charlie's cell phone had fallen from her pocket and slid into the dungeon as her and Kevin stormed through the halls, Cas held tightly in one of their grasps. Crowley was able to move the phone to him with his foot and he picked it up with ease. "Hold on Cas I'm gonna call Moose and Squirrel!!"

"SHUT UP CROWLEY!!!" Rang from Kevin and Charlie yet again.

Back at Bobby's

Sam, Dean, and Bobby were getting borax put into spray bottles and gathering sharp axes and machetes. They had a Leviathan case on their hands.

"Man I thought we'd sent all those bastards back to purgatory!" Dean yelled in frustration.
"Apparently not all of them ya idjit." Bobby stated.
Sam chuckled.

Suddenly, Dean's phone rang. He looked at the person calling. It read: 'Charlie Bradbury'
"It's Charlie." Dean answered it. "Hey Charlie how's everything going?"

"Squirrel. It's Crowley. And everything is going horribly by the way."

"Crowley?! What the hell where's Charlie? Why'd you answer? What's going on!"

"Ah ah ah one question at a time. My, do you chatter. Just put me on speaker I need you and moose to hear me cause fixing this is gonna need both of you."

"Okay.." Dean clicked the speaker button and held the phone between him and his brother while Bobby listened from his seat at the desk.

"Alright moose.. squirrel.. listen closely to the background." Sam and Dean heard muffled screams, banging, footsteps, cries of help, and loud curses.

"What in Chuck's name... CROWLEY WHAT IS GOING ON?!?"

"Well from what I can tell... Kev and that Charlie girl are fighting over Sparkles over here. And I'm actually concerned about the guy. They're pulling him around pretty roughly."

Sam sighed and rubbed his temples and Dean clenched his jaw angrily. "Sam...mental note that we get Garth to babysit next time.."

Sam nodded and leaned closer to the phone. "Crowley put them on the phone please."

The demon sighed. "That's just it moose. They won't listen to me. Anytime I try to say something they just cut me off. Well squirrel maybe it wasn't such a good idea to tell them not to talk to me."

"Crowley...shut up and point the phone closest to wherever they are before I punch you through the receiver...." Dean growled as he tried controlling his anger for the time being.

"Fine. You Winchesters are pieces of work you know that?" Crowley angled the phone towards the situation.

Dean cleared his throat and let his rage pour out into the phone. "KEVIN TRAN AND CHARLIE BRADBURY GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE WITH THE ANGEL AND STOP ALL THIS BULLSHIT RIGHT NOW!!!!"

Kevin and Charlie froze and slowly started going toward Dean's booming voice. They walked inside the dungeon. "Crowley why do you have my phone?!" Charlie screeched.

"YOU HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS TO DEAL WITH RIGHT NOW BRADBURY!" Dean shouted through the cell phone. "YOU TWO ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE YOU JUST BE GLAD I'M GONE FOR A COUPLE DAYS CAUSE WHEN I GET BACK OH BOY YOU DON'T EVEN WANNA KNOW WHAT'S NEXT. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT CAS NOT FIGHT OVER HIM!!! NOW YOU'VE PROBABLY MADE HIS HEAD WORSE AND MORE THAN THAT I'M SURE!! YOU TWO GO TO YOUR ROOMS NOW AND LEAVE CASTIEL WITH CROWLEY BECAUSE AT THIS POINT I'M MORE TRUSTING TO THE FUCKING KING OF HELL THAN I AM TO YOU TWO IDJITS!! I SWEAR TO CHUCK I AM GETTING GARTH TO BABYSIT CAS NEXT TIME AND NOT YOU GUYS!!!" Dean finished his screaming fit and took several deep breaths as he rubbed his hand along the back of his head.

"Yes Dean..." Charlie and Kevin mumbled.
"Okay. Now you two better behave or I swear..." Dean shook his head. "Bye. I just can't even talk to you guys right now. Just go. Cas you stay with Crowley." Dean hung up.

Sam sighed. "Just sleep on it Dean. We'll deal with the Levi's tomorrow and then we can deal with this. We need to just sleep now though." Dean nodded. "Yeah.. yeah you're right Sammy.."
- - - - -
Crowley gave the two a small smirk and then tossed Charlie her phone. Charlie grabbed it and then both her and Kevin went to their respective rooms.

Cas was still on the verge of puking or passing out. One minute everything would be going fuzzy, the next minute he'd be gagging. There was no in between at the moment. He eventually passed out and Crowley held him close for protection incase either of the hunters decided to try and steal Cas in his sleep.

"Don't you worry Cas you'll be safe with me for now." Soon everyone was fast asleep.
