Chapter 19

3RD PERSON POV

In Ganon's castle, Leila was training as usual and then she used her dark triforce against her opponents. They were sent flying and then the black smoke disappeared after Leila's enemies crash landed on the ground. Leila chuckled evilly and then she looked at her dark triforce.

"I'm glad the Goddess of Darkness picked me to be the carrier of this beautiful mark *chuckles*"

"I'm glad you think so as well but, the real question is, where is the carrier of the Triforce of Light?"

Leila turned around and she saw Ganon. She then said to him.

"I searched for the survivors of the Sheikah tribe and I also tried looking for any information that's based on the Triforce of light and the Goddess herself but so far nothing has turned up and every time I do find someone from the Sheikah tribe, they won't tell me anything."

"I see, so the information is lost huh? Leila, go and ask Vaati and see if he's got any information."

"I'm on it, my lord."

Leila said before she disappears into the shadows. Ganon smirked and he then thought to himself.

'Leila is a loyal one but, her lust for blood still continues on but, once I do get the Triforce of Light, there will no need for those slaves anymore.'

Once Leila got to the dark castle, she barged into Vaati's room and she shouted.

"Vaati!"

Vaati and Zoey jumped in fright when Leila shouted unexpectedly. Zoey then said to her.

"Where did you come from?!"

"Shut it, slave! I didn't come here to speak with you!!"

Zoey shivered in fear when Leila shouted at her.

ZOEY'S POV

'Yikes! she's scarier than (Y/n)!'

I thought to myself after Leila shouted at me. Vaati sighed and he then said to her.

"What do you want this time Leila? if Ganon is after one of my enchantments again then forget it, I haven't got any."

"That's not why I'm here, I'm only here to ask you something, do you have any information based on the Goddess of Light or the triforce that she created?"

'Triforce of light? could she mean the three pieces of the triforce?'

I thought to myself when Leila asked Vaati this.

"I'm not promising anything, but, I'll see what I've got."

Vaati said as he disappeared into the back to get something. I looked at Leila and I asked her.

"What exactly is this Triforce of Light? were you talking about the three pieces of the Triforce?"

"No, there's more to the story about how this land was created by the three goddesses and when the people started fighting over it."

I was confused at this and then Leila sat down by the window sill and she then explained to me.

"There's another story about the legendary Triforce only we Sheikahs know about before the three Goddesses created the Triforce the two realms, the realm of light and shadow, were ruled by two powerful goddesses, however, they were sisters back then but, they're both polar opposites."

"You mean the two Goddesses..?"

"Yes, the realm of light was controlled by Azura the Goddess of Light while the realm of shadows was controlled by her sister, Ziris, the two goddesses had a different purpose to control their realms, Azura's goal was to bring peace to the world of light where there is no destruction or chaos while her sister thought differently, which would explain the world we live in right now."

Leila said as she looked out of the window.

"Chaos and destruction continued on and these two also continued to fight against each other because they both have different goals that they want to bring to Hyrule. Ziris' goal was to bring darkness and power to Hyrule while Azura wanted peace and kindness to Hyrule, they fought against one another to see who's Triforce was the strongest, however, their fights always end in a draw, not one of them fell during their fights, in order to stop the enemies from taking the original Triforce and stop the dark forces, the two Goddesses stopped fighting and then they both decided to work together to stop the chaos even though it has left so many scars during the war.

"And then what happened?"

"After the war between the light and shadows, Azura and Ziris approached two members of the Sheikah tribe and then they bestowed their powers onto them, in doing so, they left the marks of the Triforce of Light and the Triforce of darkness onto the two Sheikahs."

"So, who are the carriers of the Triforce of Light and the Triforce of Darkness now?"

"I honestly don't know who has the Triforce of Light at the moment since the information might have been lost and as for the other one, well, I thought you figured it out when you and your friends met me but, I'll show you anyway."

Leila said as she removed her glove and she showed me the back of her right hand. I was shocked when I saw the black triforce on the back of her hand.

"Th-that's!"

"Got that right, my family ancestor got chosen to be the carrier and now this power has been passed onto me."

I stood there in shock when Leila said that to me. I stared at her mark again and I said to her.

"Amazing, even from here I can sense the evil from it, that also explains how you were able to merge with the shadows when we first met."

"Exactly and now, I'm using it to serve Lord Ganon and bring more darkness to this world."

Leila said with a smirk before she stood up and then she grabbed my chin. I looked into her (E/c) eyes and then they glowed red.

"Now do you see why I hate my sister, it's because Father always paid attention to her and he's always telling me that using my Triforce of darkness isn't the answer to everything, hmpf, he should have been careful with his words before I drove my dagger through his heart."

I didn't dare say a word as she glared at me with that evil look in her eyes. Leila released my chin and then Vaati showed up.

"Leila, this is the only book I have that's based on the Triforce of Light."

Leila looked at Vaati and he had a book with him and then Leila took it from him.

"This is all you have? oh man, I thought you of all people would have at least something that has something to do with the Triforce of Light, oh well, I suppose this will do, see ya."

Leila said and then she left the room after the door closed. Vaati sighed and he then spoke up.

"That Leila, I hate it when she does this, she's always so demanding, hm? are you OK?"

Vaati asked me as I started to tremble a little and then my legs gave out. Vaati caught me in time and he said to me.

"Whoa! are you all right?"

"I'm fine...except....how could someone like Leila...possess such power? my body....it just froze on the spot...and those eyes...they're filled with so much evil within them...."

I remembered those (E/c) eyes turning into evil red ones and then Vaati said to me.

"That's just Leila's way of trying to scare you, she does that to some of the slaves who question her motives, she likes to torture a person's mind whenever she feels like whether she's using her dark powers or not."

I lowered my head a little and I understood what he meant and I then said to him.

"At least now I know why they hate each other so much...and yet...they're sisters...."

"Siblings or not, they still see each other as enemies, there's nothing we can do to stop their little fights, all we can do is just stand back and let them settle their differences."
