3RD PERSON POV

Once nightfall came, (Y/n) snuck into the castle's sewers and then she remembered her way to the Snakemaster's hideout. She looked around for him until she saw one his pets, which was a cobra, that had decided to slither around her leg. (Y/n) wasn't creeped out when she saw this snake and then the Master of snakes appeared.

"Looks like Sophia likes you, (Y/n)."

(Y/n) looked up and she saw the Snakemaster. Sophia slithered back to her master and she sat on his shoulder like the tamed pet she is.

"You haven't changed one bit since the last time we spoke, Hayate."

"I would prefer that you'd use my nickname."

"Whatever, anyway, did you get my message?"

Hayate held up the small note that (Y/n) left next to the dungeon sewers and he said to her.

"I got it all right, I never thought I'd see the day that you would ask the hero of Hyrule for help? what's changed?"

"This thing around my neck is keeping me here, that's why I can't leave the castle nor can my friends."

(Y/n) explained to Hayate as she raised her head slightly so that she was showing off the choke collar that Dark Link placed on her neck. Hayate ran his fingers over the choke collar and he then said to her.

"I've seen this type of magic before, this is some kind of binding spell the only way to remove it, is if and when the caster removes it for you or if you have the ability to use light magic it would be easy to get rid of but, too bad for you, must suck being a slave to that Prince of Darkness."

(Y/n) growled annoyingly when she heard Hayate say this making him chuckle at her reaction. Hayate and (Y/n) got to his workplace where there's a lot of snakes, potion bottles, poisons, ingredients and a collection of snake skins. Hayate sat down and he lets Sophia slither off his arm before he spoke up again.

"So, if you want me to help you send that message to the hero, you need to pay up."

"Oh don't worry, I've got your payment right here."

(Y/n) said as she got the snakeskin that Zoey gave to her earlier.

FLASHBACK...

(Y/n) was waiting outside of Vaati's room and then Zoey came out of his room with a small bag. Zoey looked around and she opened it a little and she said to (Y/n).

"This snakeskin is from a white cobra, I'm pretty sure your little friend will be happy with this but, don't tell Vaati it was me who took this."

"Don't worry, if he does find out, I'll take the blame like I promised, thanks Zoe, I owe you one."

"You do, BIG time."

FLASHBACK ENDS...

Hayate looked at the snakeskin and he smiled happily as he held it in his hands.

"This is a very rare snakeskin indeed, it's a good thing Vaati is a bit of a collector, all right (Y/n), I'll see if I can get that message to the Hero and bring him here, as promised."

"You better do that Hayate, I'm not sticking around this place any longer since I'm done working as a slave."

"I know but, I should tell you something else, it's about your sister."

(Y/n)'s eyes widen and then Hayate said to her.

"Lelia has been hunting down the remaining members of the Sheikah tribe and she knows they're hiding somewhere but, for those who were captured they were either killed by her's or Ganon's hand or they killed themselves, I heard another one killed himself and he fell off the balcony."

"Damn her...she'll do anything to find those guys."

"Once you do get your freedom back, you better do what you can to stop her because sooner or later, she's gonna come for you and finish you once and for all."

"I wouldn't worry about her too much, Lelia isn't stupid enough to come after me especially in my current situation as long as she remains at Ganon's side she'll be his loyal dog and he's the one who has a hold of her leash."

Hayate smirked at her and he then said to her.

"Cold words but, very true, then you better get going before someone notices that you're missing."

"I know and thanks again for the favour Hayate."

"Wait before you go, take this with you."

Hayate gave (Y/n) a small packet of powder and he said to her.

"This is a deadly poison that I made myself by using various snake venom, use this when the time is right."

"Got it, thanks Hayate."

(Y/n) said with a smirk before she left the sewers. After (Y/n) got back to her room, she looked out of the window and she thought to herself.

'I hope Link gets here and I better keep a watchful out for Lelia, if she's after the survivors of the attack that happened a few years ago then there's only one thing that she and Ganon are after, the ultimate weapon of the Sheikah tribe.'

(Y/n) clenched her right fist tightly and she then looked at the full moon.

'Oh great Goddesses, hear my prayer...protect my people from Lelia...the darkness in her heart has gotten stronger and she'll do anything to get the weapon that our people desperately protected over the last few generations'

(Y/n) opened her eyes after telling her prayer to the Goddesses and then she got ready for bed before hiding the small packet under her mattress.

THE NEXT DAY...

READER'S POV

Dark Link was talking to another Richman while his bodyguard and I stood outside of his office waiting for them. I tugged on my choke collar since it was still uncomfy around my neck. The bodyguard looked at me and he then asked me.

"Are you OK Miss?"

"I will be, this choke collar is a little uncomfortable right now."

"I see, then I'm guessing your Lady Lelia's sister."

I was surprised that he knew about my sister and I then asked him.

"I'm guessing you heard that rumour from Dark Link's guards huh?"

"You could say that, still, I'm surprised you, an ex-member of the Sheikah, were able to put with him for this long, I'm impressed you haven't tried to kill him in his sleep yet."

"Unfortunately I can't really do that right now, because I've got friends who I need to protect and the last thing I need to do is get myself in trouble with that overgrown pork chop."

"*chuckles* you're interesting, the name's Daisuke by the way."

"I'm (Y/n)."

Daisuke and I smiled at each other and I then asked him.

"What do you think those two are talking about in there?"

"My guess is Lord Ganon wants more soldiers for his army and in doing so, Ganon will start a war with the Princess and her soldiers as well."

"Seriously? but, what's the point of having slave markets?"

"Probably for money, at least that's what I think about them, I'm also sorry you got yourself involved in this mess."

"Don't be, at least now I know what Ganon and Lelia are up to but, there's much I can do about them at the moment but when the time comes that's when I strike them down, at least that's what my old man used to teach me."

Daisuke nodded his head in agreement and he then said to me.

"I know exactly what you mean but it still annoys me that guys like Master Ghirahim are only using slaves for their own entertainment, just be lucky that you've got someone like Dark Link."

"Lucky? please, I don't believe in luck, to me it never existed when some of the members of my tribe were slaughtered and when I got captured and sold into the slave market, right now, all I care about is getting myself and my friends outta this hellhole and go back to where we belong."

"Yikes, you're scary when you've got that determined look on your face you do know that don't you?"

"I get that a lot when it comes to Sakura and Cleo, they're always telling me I have a scary look on my face when I'm in one of my bad moods."

Daisuke chuckled when I said this and then the office door opened. We both stood upright and then our 'masters' came out of the office. Dark Link patted the noble's shoulder and he said to him.

"Well, I can assure you Ganon will be impressed with the number of soldiers you'll be lending to him."

"Just as long as his hospitality for the gathering will be good, I'll be sure to send some of my best soldiers to fight alongside him."

"Good, see you then."

"Let's go Daisuke."

Daisuke bowed to him before he said to me.

"I'll see you again soon, (Y/n)."

"Later."

I said before Daisuke left. I looked at Dark Link and I asked him.

"I get the idea that Ganon is trying to increase his army but, what's this gathering about?"

"Some of Lord Ganon's friends including some of his best Generals will be coming over for a little gathering, you might recognise some of them from the slave market before you tried your little escape attempt at the market, it'll be happening in a few days and also..."

Dark Link glared at me but, I wasn't fazed by this until he used his magic on the collar making clutch my throat in pain.

"If you even think about causing trouble at this gathering I'll make sure you get the worst punishment of your life, understood."

"Ugh!! all right! all right! I get your point!! cut it out already!!"

I shouted in pain making Dark Link smirk at me. Dark Link stopped using his magic on the collar before I gasped for air. I rubbed my neck where the collar was and then Dark Link grabbed my chin making me look at him.

"Call that a little warning if things do get out of hand."

Dark Link said before he released my chin. I glared at his back and I thought to myself.

'One of these days, I'm gonna kill him...'

Before I caught up to him, Dark Link looked over his shoulder and he said to me.

"Oh, and another thing, you and your little friends will be serving the nobles who are going to be at the gathering and if they do try anything don't and I repeat DON'T disobey them, got it."

I looked away from him and then he glared at me again. I sighed in defeat and I said to him.

"Fine but, I'm not promising that I'll keep my defences down because if my friends call out to me, they've got me to answer to."

"Try it and you're gonna get it."

Dark Link said before he walked away from me. I stuck my tongue out when his back was turned and he suddenly said to me.

"And you better keep that tongue in as well!!"

I looked at him shocked and I thought to myself.

'Does this guy have eyes at the back of his head?!'

I caught up with Dark Link and I continued to follow him for the rest day. I glanced at his face and I thought to myself.

'Come to think of it, I don't even know the first thing about this guy since I've been here aside from the fact that's known as the Prince of Darkness, I wonder what his life was like before I met him and I also wonder about this Serana person as well, maybe Hayate knows something about her.'
