DARK LINK'S POV

I headed to Serana and Rachel's gravestones and I got a bouquet of roses for them as well. Once I got to the gravestones, Vaati and Ghirahim had already been because they've placed a rose on their graves and they've also placed a small wooden horse on Rachel's grave. I smiled sadly when I saw this. I knelt down to their graves and I placed the bouquet of roses in between the graves and I then remembered how Serana told me red roses were her favourite flowers.

I was getting restless from working at my desk while going over the reports all day and I decided to take a break and I thought maybe a walk would help with my fatigue. During my walk, I spotted Serana picking some roses from the rose bushes. I watched as how she carefully cuts the steams off the bush and she starts to cut the thorns as well. Serana smiled as she stared at the rose in her hand and I walked over to her.

"What you doing?"

"Oh hello, Dark Link."

Serana said as she smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back a little and she then said to me.

"I'm just picking some roses for my room, I thought cheering it up a bit would help a little."

"You really like roses don't you?"

"Of course, red ones are my favourite, they're so beautiful."

I looked away from her and she noticed that look on my face.

"What's the matter? was it weird for me to say that."

"Nothing except, to me red roses resemble me in some ways I guess it's because I've got red eyes and I'm dangerous as well."

"That's not true."

I looked at Serana with a surprised expression on my face and she said to me after standing up from the ground.

"Sure whenever someone sees you, they always get into a panic, but, if you ask me, they judge you too quickly before they could get to know and you're also judging yourself too harshly."

"Oh really? then tell me this, you've been here a while now and yet, you're not afraid of me, why is that?"

"It's because I don't see anything to fear from you."

I was shocked when Serana said this and she continued.

"You look like the shadow of the Hero but, your personality is different from him, in my opinion, you've got beautiful red eyes, you're a lot more handsome than Link and you've got a kinder side even though you don't want to show anyone else that side of yours except for me."

I was shocked when she said this because no one including the women hasn't said anything like to me before. Serana blushed a little and she said to me.

"Forgive me, I shouldn't have said that."

"No, it's fine."

I stroked Serana's cheek and she looked at me with those beautiful eyes. I smiled a little and I said to her.

"That actually meant a lot to me, you're the first person to tell me about my looks and I'm glad you don't fear me."

Serana smiled at me and she said to me.

"I'm glad you think so, Dark Link."

"Serana, thank you."

I opened my eyes and I could something wet on my cheek and I knew what it was. I quickly wiped away my tears and I then placed my hand on Serana's gravestone and I could see her happy face.

'Serana...I would do anything to see your smile once more...why did this happen to you? to our daughter...? Serana....'

I gently placed my forehead against Serana's gravestone as I cried silently.

3RD PERSON POV

Ghirahim and Vaati were watching Dark Link from Vaati's cauldron and they knew that he was still hurting. Ghirahim sighed and he then spoke up.

"I knew his heart was still broken but still, I had no idea he was still hurting this long."

"Well, when you're someone like Dark Link who has never loved anyone like Serana, that would have left a massive hole in your chest, so can you blame him for hurting this long?"

Ghirahim sighed sadly and he then said to him.

"What do you think we should do?"

"Nothing, for the time being, you and I have gotten over her deaths but Dark Link hasn't he was the one who found her that night remember?"

"How can I forget? I can't stop remembering how devastated he was when he held Serana close to him as he cried his eyes out.

Ghirahim said as he remembered that night when he, Vaati and the healers came to Serana and Dark Link but they were already too late, she had already died of blood loss and their child had died as well. Vaati nodded his head and then there was a knock on Vaati's door making him cancel out his magic in the cauldron.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Master."

Zoey said as she entered his room.

"Pardon the interruption, but, your stock of ingredients have arrived."

"Can you deal with it? I'm busy at the moment."

"Of course and I'm sorry to bother you."

Zoey said as she bowed her head before leaving Vaati's room. Ghirahim looked at Vaati and he asked him.

"What? why are you staring at me like that?"

"Vaati, Zoey is your slave and you're giving her the luxury treatment? whatever happened to 'Don't think this is some luxury trip that you ladies are gonna have' a slave means she can't have the good treatment, it's always the bad treatment like cracking the whip not go fetch me this and that!"

"Not everybody thinks like you Ghirahim, that's your only excuse to work your slaves and you use some of them for your own sick games and don't think I didn't hear last events either."

Ghirahim blushed a little and smirked evilly.

"Whoops, my bad."

"Oh brother, sometimes I wonder why Ganon even bothered to let you join us."

Ghirahim chuckled when Vaati said this.

TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THE DAY...

READER'S POV

I was in the servants quarters with my friends and they were all talking about how their days went as their duties as 'slaves'. Sakura was lying on her stomach as Zoey massaged her back since her muscles were sore from scrubbing the floors all day.

"Owie...ow, ow, ow, ow, I've never worked so hard in my life aside from that time when (Y/n) and I moved a large stock of groceries for my parents."

"Well, let's look on the bright side, it could have been worse, Dark Link might have made you clean the prison cells."

*Sakura's Bones Cracking from the massage*

"Ow! oh man...please tell me that one is a joke because it ain't funny."

"You think that's a joke? Cleo and I had it rough as it is with that perv sneaking around."

I sweat dropped when Katsumi said this and I then asked her.

"Oh boy I'm scared to ask this, but, what's he done now?"

"(Y/n) I really don't want to go into details, but I can tell you what he's been doing, that perv Ghirahim has been trying to get a sneak a peek at us changing, he's been flirting with us, punishing us for no goddamn reason and he's been using his snake tongue to lick us, ugh!!"

Katsumi said as she looked grossed out. Cleo nodded her head and she then said to me.

"He's psycho and a-"

"A sadist? I know exactly what you're trying to say but at least you don't have to be someone's personal servant all day, that maniac that you call the 'prince of darkness' had me chasing after him and he's been bossing me about as well."

I complained angrily and then Zoey spoke up.

"Like I said, it could have been worse."

"That's easy for you to say you've got the easiest jobs by running a few errands for that good for nothing mage!"

Zoey sweat dropped when Sakura said that after sitting up from the bed. Amy smiled and she then spoke up.

"Well, let's look on the bright side, after a horrible day, we get to at least get a break after nightfall and since I've been a great worker the chef has given me a little late night snack and I managed to get something for you ladies as well."

Amy removed the cloth and there was a tray of cookies and they smelled really good.

"*Gasp!* Amy I love you!"

Katsumi said before she took three cookies from the tray and then the rest of us took a couple as well. I frowned a little and then Zoey noticed the look on my face.

"What's the matter (Y/n)?"

"We need to find a way out of this place, we can't spend the rest of our lives working for those guys especially that overgrown porkchop and that bitch I call my sister."

"That's cold."

Cleo said to me and I then frowned again.

"Yeah well, my cold attitude isn't going to get us out of this situation, we need to get out of here."

"We know that already but how? with that thing around your neck, it's like a ticking time bomb if either one of us or if you try to escape then it's all over for you and besides, that's dark Link's magic that's in that choke collar anyways."

I placed my hand on my neck where the choke collar is and I frowned again.

"I know, which is why I've asked an old friend of the Sheikah tribe to help us, he goes by the nickname 'the Snakemaster' the only reason why we call him that is because he's got this weird obsession with snakes."

"Eww..."

Sakura said and then Cleo asked me.

"How were you able to find him?"

"It's simple, he's got an underground hideout, it'll have to take someone who knows their way around the sewers to find his hideout, even guys like our masters need a miracle to do so."

I said with a smirk and then Zoey said to me.

"I've heard rumours about this Snake master, but, I didn't expect him to be an old friend of the Sheikah tribe."

"Well, I'm full of surprises but, there's also something else I meant to tell you, sure his potions and other ingredients are expensive depending on the prices of the rupees but, the better way to pay him is by giving him a snake or a snake's skin, for some unknown reason he's been using them to study their nature, blah, blah."

"So in order for him to help us, you need a snake's skin? how are you gonna get one?"

I glanced at Zoey after she asked me this. Zoey looked at me confused and I then said to her.

"That's where you come in Zoe."

"Huh? wait why am I involved?"

"You're working with Vaati with his experiments and you do have free use of his ingredients and he does have a collection of snake skins-"

"Oh no! forget about it! I'm not stealing any of them for this snake master, I'll get into trouble for it."

"Then I'll take full responsibility for it, I'll just tell Vaati that I stole that snakeskin to play a trick on Katsumi."

"Hey!!"

Katsumi yelled angrily and then Zoey sighed annoyingly before she pointed at my face.

"Fine I'll help but if Vaati does find out that I've lied to him, I'm dragging you down with me! understood?"

"Clear as crystal."

I said with a smirk while unfazed by Zoey's threat. I then thought to myself.

'I might be able to do much to get these girls out of here but, the least I can do is protect them since this collar is like a bomb ready to explode at any second, the only person who we can rely on right now is Link and I hope he finds us and soon because I don't think I can take another day here in this hellhole.'
