I can't sleep anymore, whenever I close my eyes all I see is the incident that had happened twenty two years back. I shouldn't have let jealousy and envy control me. I am now regretting everything.
It feels like the incident is tormenting me now, I feel I should just tell them the truth. I am ready to take any wrath given to me. I deserve it, I really do.

Back at Khaleefa's residence

Fatima's Pov

It's my first day at my house. I woke up early while Khaleefa was still asleep, I freshened up and went to make something for us to eat.
I made coffee and pancakes for us,then went to wake him up.

"Hubby"?"Hubby"? now where are you.

  Hey! "Good morning Belle" , how was your night he asked grabbing her by her waist.

"Wh, what are you doing". This is not the right time for this. Now come down let's have our breakfast.

But I need you baby, I want you so bad. I can't control myself when you're around.

Oh! then you better learn to control yourself, she ended with a wink.

Oh yeah, I will learn that but please one kiss it won't hurt.

No, no, no! that won't happen, just stop being stubborn and come with me down.

I will rather starve then, I don't want to eat anything.

Okay then, more for me I guess.

Oh! my! word! you are so stubborn baby, so stubborn. All I need is a kiss from my darling wife, pleeeaaassseee he enlogated the "please" with a puppy face.

Okay! Alright, if that is what you want then a kiss it is, but you have to close your eyes first.

"Yes, yes, agreed" ! He abruptly answered at the same time closed his eyes.

  She raised her feet to his face level both her hands entwined on his shoulder, slowly and gradually moving her lips to his, she plastered a passionate kiss on his cheek and then moved to his lips and gave him a juicy kiss (🔥).
They both let out a silent moan and looked at each other in the eyes passionately without letting any chance to blink a jiffy, until a knock interrupted.

I will get the door, fatima insisted.
  Hey! It's you guys, I didn't know you came. Hubby look, Khadijah and Anisah's here.

  Oh so they are the interrupters, you are welcome ladies, let's go down now.

Ya Khaleefa we hope we haven't disturbed you, Anisah asked.

No, not at all, just keep on walking or you might fall.

   So we have brought food for you, as a bride you are not supposed to be cooking, from now we will be bringing food for you two, so you just enjoy yourselves , Khadijah explained.
Keh take it to the kitchen mana, she ordered Anisah.

   Yaya we will be leaving now they both said respectively.

No, please stay a little longer I mean let's eat together, fatima insisted.

No, no, we have already eaten and mama warn us not to stay long, so we have to go before she gets upset, Khadijah explained.

But-,  hey, they are right let them go send our regards to Gwaggo Khaleefa abruptly responded.

Yes, Ya Fatima he is right let's go Khadijah I think he needs a second kiss on the other side, Anisah teased.
    Bye lovebirds don't kill each other, she teased again and ran out.

Don't mind her Ya Khaleefa, but she's right at some point, Adios Señorita's khadijah said and left.

   Two drama queens, but what did they mean by second kiss he asked.

Whoopsy! I suppose  i left a lipstick stain on your cheek, she giggled and left to the kitchen.

Wallahi the Kosai and Kunun tsamiya was really tasty, gwaggo is just the best, Khaleefa complimented taking the last sip of the kunu.

She sure is, fatima simply added.

    Once done they parked the used dishes and washed it together.
They watched TV cuddled up with each other, prayed, had fun and finally slept.

A Week Later

  Hubby , you're back. How was work?

  Alhamdulillah babe, I've got a surprise for you.

Really? What is the surprise, tell me.

Relax, go and freshen up we are going to Gwaggo's place.

But the surprise, when will I know.

Don't worry you will know it soon, now just do as I say.

Okay, your majesty she bowed a little.

You're unpredictable! "he giggled".

They got in the car and zoomed off, badass musics kept on playing while they both follow the lyrics.
    Their banters kept on until they arrived at their destination. They came out of the car like normal adults and headed to the main entrance.

The scent of incense (bakhoor) welcomed them in, they both salaamed and went further inside the sitting room where Hajiya was sitting alone swaying in her own thoughts.

Hajiya? Fatima gently called.

Uhm, uhh, fatima you're here. Khaleefa you too, she mumbled.
Come on now, give me a hug you two.
They gave her a hug while she prayed for them.

Gwaggo what where you thinking about that you didn't notice we came in, Khaleefa asked.

Uhh, it was nothing  "she lied".

Gwaggo please tell me if there is anything bothering you.

Khaleefa will I lie to you, I told you it is nothing so forget it, the most important thing is that you are here.
 
Hajiya su Khadijah fah, fatima asked.

Suna sama suna kalla kallan nan nasu (They are upstairs busy watching), she answered.

Uhm, can I go to them.

Sure fatima, you can.

Hey! Mistresses of Zee world.

Fatima!  they called out and both engulfed her in a warm hug.

Come in! Where is Ya Khaleefa?

He's downstairs with Hajiya.

Okay, "please sit". We want to ask you a question, now tell us how can you rate Ya Khaleefa in terms of romance  huh, Anisah asked glancing a wink to Khadijah.

You two... you're sick, he is just perfect for me.

There's something I want to tell you all, Gwaggo said.

And I will like to say something too, Khaleefa spoke too.

  Okay let's hear yours Khaleefa, gwaggo insisted.

I will like to announce to all of you that we will be going on our honeymoon next week, In Shaa Allah.

Oh my God honey, I love you she uttered voiceless.

Aww, the loverbirds needs some space.... Anisah teased.

Masha Allah! this is great news, gwaggo complimented.
May you two always be happy she prayed.

    "Ameen", they answered respectively.

  Gwaggo what was it you wanted to tell us, Khaleefa reminded.

Oh, don't worry about that it's nothing anymore. I think this calls for a toast to the newlyweds , let me get something special  for us , gwaggo spoke and left.

Who's ready to wine and dine, Hajiya's voice came.

We are! they all replied.

Let's give a toast to the newly weds, Hajiya insisted.
     Everyone raised their glasses up and hailed " To Mr and Mrs. Khaleefa Ibrahim", cheers🍻!

I wished I could tell you all what is in my mind, but I can't.  You are all happy and excited now, if I spill the beans then everything will be ruined.
But sooner or later, the truth will be revealed....................
