Ben Solo sat at his desk , age 29 , and sent the email to his boss . His phone chimed and he picked it up.

Mom: we need to talk
Mom: Ben
Mom: this is serious
Mom: answer me !
Mom: BENJAMIN LUCAS SOLO DONY MAKE ME COME TO YOUR WORK !
Mom: please answer
Mom: I'm sick of waiting !

Ben: what ?

Ben walked inside his mothers house and felt the scents of her home cooking fill him.

Along the walls were prizes and records she had made . She was quite familiar in the cirque world .

"Yes ?" He asked stepping into the kitchen . Different animal skulls lined the shelf which used to hold his school awards .

"How's your dad?" She asked as she picked up her pot holder with her toe .

"Fine what's going on?" He asked .

When Ben was 12 his parents divorced , his dad was practical; Han Solo was a lawyer and baseball coach on the weekends . He worked hard and did everything a dad was suppose to.

His mother , Leia Skywalker was a circus performer . She was always on the road , always traveling with her family circus , begging Han to come with her .

They fought whenever they were together and fought whenever they where apart.

Ben sighed as he sat down "mom ?"

"Well... Uncle Luke has decided to retire ... and I'm not fit to be a ring leader ... I know you've always wanted too and being ring leader is a Skywalker family tradition so ?" She smiled .

"Mom no -"

"Oh please Ben ! You've wanted this since you were 14 and begged me to let you do the circus training program ... you know the stuff and tricks ... please sweetie ?" She begged .

"Mom I'm a lawyer , I have a job -"

"You do but ... this is better ... this is our family, not some stuff business men who drink too much and flirt with interns !" She replied .

"Mom-"

"At least see the show tonight ? It's uncle Luke's last one " she reminded him.

"I'll see the show " he sighed "I'll bring Bazine ... my girlfriend you can finally meet her!" He said and walked to it of the house .

Leia waved goodbye and told him tickets would be saved at the booth for him.

Bazine was with him, heels and all as they walked in the parking lot to the arena .

He saw the trailers where the starts would live . He remembered summers where he and the children's Who parents were on tour would play around them.

"It smells like elephant shit" Bazine scoffed as they walked to their seats .

"Well there's elephant hon" he said as he helped her sit down.

"So why are we here instead of Nobu again ?" She asked as she squirted a dollop of hand sanitizer into her palms.

"My mother's side owns this company and my uncle is doing his last show ... it's a family thing ... plus you haven't met my mother" he said .

She nodded and pulled out her phone to start relying to emails .

He sighed and ordered a bag of peanuts and a cola . The show was about to start and he heard the music began.

"Ladies and Gentlemen ... WELCOME TO THE SKYWALKER CIRCUS !" The announcer said .

Soon smoke filled the arena and a a young lady came out , wearing a leotard .

Her hair was in a a tight bun and she jumped up onto the Ariel silks.

She began to do a performance as the smoke raised and the lights followed her .

Then the music around them picked up and then another woman was on the silks with her.

"She looks 50" Bazine said.

"She is ... that's my mom" he said .

Bazine's eyes went wide and watched .

Leia and the young girl danced through the air , the girl grabbed Leia' hand and then Leia held her just by the hand as she dangled her above the ground .

The girl was doing tricks using her legs and one hand as she held onto Leia .

Soon Leia and her spun and dropped her .

The crowd gasped as the lights came up to see the young girl in the arms of two men.

She smiled and waved to the audience as Leia began to descend down.

His uncle came out and kissed the girls cheek . Then he welcomed the crowd .
