I woke up after another terrible nightmare. My hands were shaking and I was sweating. Ever since I was living alone, I had been having horrifying nightmares, where I'm all alone in the forest that rounds my house, unable to ask for help.

When I calmed down I knew that I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, so I decided to get up and walk to the kitchen, probably have a coffee and a midnight snack. I felt a slight shiver running down my body as my feet touched the cold floor. Being the hygiene freak I am, I put on some shoes.

As soon as I walked out of the room, I could see a faint green light coming from the forest. I frowned in confusion.

I stared at the window, trying to figure out what the light was. In a matter of seconds, it started becoming even more intense, and it appeared to be moving closer towards me. I was scared. However, I wanted to know what it was, so I grabbed my jacket and went outside to investigate.

"Is anybody there?" I asked, getting no response. Obviously if there were some kids running around playing with flashlights, they wouldn't answer an old man's, kind of creepy, voice.

I walked further into the forest, and towards the light. A cold breeze was making me tremble, and my lips were turning blue. It was never this cold in the forest. Also, it was strangely quiet. No wolves howling, or crickets chirping. Nothing.

Suddenly, I could hear a loud banging sound. Like a car crash or metal falling. Then, the sound of a plane taking off. I looked up. Right on top of me, there was a big object that seemed like a spaceship. I stared in disbelief, and right when I was going to run, the bright, green light started shining.
