The humans sat down in the living room as toriel walked in with a huge pie. A small portion seemed to have been already eaten.

"Woah, that's a big frickin' pie!" Mia exclaimed, and toriel laughed. "Yes, sometimes I go a little over the top"

"Gimme some!" James exclaimed, leaning forwards and taking a huge chunk off of it.

"So, how many humans have fell down before us?" Kara asked toriel, who sighed. "7. 6 are dead"

"One is still alive?" James exclaimed, and she nodded. "Yes. In fact, he only left yesterday"

"Woah, I kinda want to meet him now!" James exclaimed, before giving toriel a big grin. "Wheres the way out of here?"

Toriel visibly flinched, but answered anyway. "Downstairs. Through the hallway"

"Something isn't right" this had come from Devon.

"Your being too nice, too trusting, too understanding! What's your game, lady?" He shouted standing intimidatingly in front of toriel even though he was several inches shorter.

"Devon, she is being so nice to us, don't be mean!" Abby yelled standing up so quickly that her chair went flying back.

A few tense seconds passed before Devon sighs and backed off. "Fine, I'll trust you. Thanks" his tone is sour, and toriel looks rather hurt.

"Devon, can we talk over there?" Abby jabs her finger at the door, and Devon frowned and nodded.

Once out of earshot, Abby exploded.

"What is WRONG with you, huh?! Why would you say that? She gave us food, advice, and told us about the living human! Why are you being so horrible?"

"We can't trust her, we can't trust anyone!" Devon yelled right back. "We came down for one purpose, we can't get distracted! If she tries to stop us then I'll kill he-"

Slap

Devon's eyes widened as he brought a hand up to his red cheek. Abby slowly lowered her hand, a look of fury etched into her face. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD SAY THAT!" She screamed, before storming back off into the living room, leaving Devon alone with his thoughts.
