"I just can't believe that we... That we are actually doing this" James admitted, hands clutching on the hem of his shirt.

Devon laughed and thumped him on the back. "Aw come on, don't chicken out now James! It's been decided!" He fiddled with his backpack straps. "I would be lying if I told ya I wasn't nervous, but I'm exited too!"

"We are going to get through it" Abigail announced suddenly. "And we are gonna do the right thing!"

All of them stood at the top of the mountain, surrounding a deep whole. The whole they knew led to the realm of monsters.

All of them were 14, and they had decided to go down for a long time. After hearing the mysteries, they had to go. They were too curious.

Several kids had headed down and disappeared. But those kids were on their own. They were a group of 8, and they were confident.

"It's OK, James" Rebecca said softly, rubbing his back. "All we have to do is jump!"

"Ready?" Kara said, her face hardening into a determined expression. After a moment's deliberation, they nodded.

And so they jumped.
