Cobwebs lined the walls and ceiling. A giggle ran out through the air.

"Did you hear what they said?" A voice whispered from above, amusement laced in its tone. "They say that a group of humans will come through. I hear that they hate spiders. I hear that they stomp on them. That they tear their legs off. And, I heard..."

"I cant move!" Abigail hissed urgently, and as the rooms brightness grew they realised they were stuck in waist high cobwebs.

"That they are aweful stingy with money" the voice finished, and when they looked over they saw the speaker.

A massive purple spider.

"I think you will taste delicious"

Their souls glowed.

Sans hissed angrily and tried to escape. Muffet covered her mouth and giggled at him.

"Don't look so nervous!" She chuckled, waving her hand. Purple liquid fell from above, soaking them and the webs. It was slimy and disgusting.

"I think purple is a better look on you!" She laughs, and they realised in shock that their souls were purple too.

Kara managed to loosen a web around her arms. She smirked.

Then, they attacked.

Rain after rain of magic spiders, constantly dropping from above. Most of them summoned their magic to create a shield around them, but for some reason lucy couldn't.

A spider bit her. She screamed.

"LUCY!" Rebecca shouted tearfully, magic flickering.

It won't stop. They can see her health bar. She has barely a third left, and she can't access her items.

She might be done for.

"LET US GO!" Rebecca screamed, struggling harder. Her green magic made the strings loosen.

Other projectiles rained down. Sans' eye glowed but nothing happened.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce my pet! Breakfast time, have fun!"

The webs began to shake. Lucy wasn't moving. Rebecca had tears streaming down her face now.

A massive created began to leap at them. They tried to block it, but their attacks hardly touched it. It cut Mia's arm so deep her health plummeted.

Everyone's hearts began to beat stronger.

To Naruto, it felt like everything had gone silent and dark. All he could see is his and Mia's soul.

There weren't any webs. He walked over to the frail pink heart, noticing a thin strand between it and his soul.
Toriel's words echoes in his head.

Touching souls is a intimate process, because your soul is literally your entire being. If you touch souls you are bound together.

That night when mia healed his soul, she touched it.

And now he could feel it. All the pain she was in right now. He could feel everyone's greif.

He couldn't let them die.

Both of Naruto's eyes began to glow.
